I can feel my face getting red as I type this from the anxiety. idk what to do for the first part of my shift. idk who to talk to. idk where to get instruction from. The sous chef & the chef are both busy af so I shouldn't talk to them but idk who the shift leader is. I hate doing prep when idk what I'm doing, I hate the cramped space there, I wish I was skinny not necessarily for aesthetic purposes but for mobility purposes. I wish I had a better memory I wish I had better communication I wish we had a 4 hour work day with a four day work week. Except that's full-time, I wish I personally got a 3 day work week. Edit: I'm content with my two day work week. I might be happier with a 3 day work week if I didn't have 8h shifts

i can’t nail down a specific theory or pattern here, but hear me out:

i find it really interesting that vecna seems to strike at times when will, specifically, is suffering or in his feelings bc of his love for mike. double date with lumax that mike was late to bc he was kissing el? will feels vecna. el and mike ditch the rest of the group when they’re on their way to talk to suzie? will feels vecna. it’s not my fault you don’t like girls? they don’t even get time to make up bc “he’s back,” vecna deadass comes back during will’s breakdown, destroying castle byers. in the closet (at rink o mania)? vecna kills fred. will hears mike say ily to el? vecna kills max. like, pretty much at that exact moment.

(chrissy and patrick’s deaths seem to be the only exceptions to this in s3/4, but i believe that’s just bc these 2 deaths are meant to correlate emotionally with el and help us focus on el’s story. chrissy is killed on the day el is humiliated by angela. patrick dies when el is in NINA with blood on her hands thinking she killed everybody, almost dying of a heart attack.)

i also noticed that when things are really good between mike and will, that’s when vecna loses. s1, mike is fighting for will like hell and they save him from the upside down. mike & will are closer than ever in s2 and the byers are able to exorcise the MF from will (with mike’s help the whole season). byler makes up and has that cute flirty moment at the end of s3 and then we have a whole vecna-free year for our gang lmao. 4x4 they have that incredibly flirty “it’s not the same without you” scene, and then max is able to escape from vecna. 4x8 we have the painting/van scene where mike and will start to rebuild emotional intimacy and throw heart eyes at each other, and our heroes are in an excellent spot that whole episode. it’s almost as if, as they get closer to each other, they’re weakening him.

IKEA Castle bed transformation Part 1:

Start with some random IKEA furniture: Kura bed, Trofast storage, two Billy bookcases with doors, and a 2x4 kallax (not pictured).

Cut three 4x8 sheets of 3/4” plywood into approximately 1 billion tiny pieces. Learn how irritating it is to cut angles for joints and decorative trim.

Sand everything forever until your fingerprints are basically non longer existent. Prime. Sand again. Paint. Sand again. Cry. Paint a stone finish effect on every piece for a 3 year old who will definitely not appreciate any of it.

Add trim and decorations because ✨perfectionism✨

i would die to see an opening-of-4x8 style hyperrealistic vecna’ing scene but instead of nancy it’s mike wheeler………..

like imagine vecna puts him in a trance and suddenly he’s biking in the rain to find will after the s3 fight, but it’s on a neverending loop and he never makes it to will’s house but he keeps biking faster anyway and calling for will, and finally on like the 5th loop he runs right into vecna and falls off the bike……..vecna picks him up and in the same voice that he said “max” at the end of 4x3, just looks at him and says “michael wheeler…” and carries him to the destroyed castle byers (similar to how he carried max in 4x9) and ties him up w vines and gives him visions and forces him (and the audience) to watch his fears regarding internalized homophobia and losing will play out and be used against him in real time…………….YEAH
