Backstory:

Born in District 4, he worked at the docks, making him a fast swimmer. This skill helped him when he volunteered for the Hunger Games, where he was mentored by Annie Cresta.

He was close with his district partner Marina Ross, talking with her the days leading up to the games.

However, when the games started, he got separated from the career pack after a close call with one of the tributes. He stayed close to the river until he was found by district 13 troops.

He did work in district 13 until the rebellion won, and he went back to district 4 to work with Mrs. Everdeen in the hospital.
