What nicknames do u think Carl and Harvard have for each other? The only thing I can think of his Carl calling him Harv or Harvey.
other than those two, prob Marks for Harvard, but only in serious situations
as for Carl, his name is too short for nicknames, but I can see Harvard using pet names in exchange for it (dear, love, corazón, etc)

supernatural au (wip)
credits to @awesomeart-83 for originally coming up with the idea
harvard is a vampire, carl is a changling, mikey is a werewolf. manimani is a faerie, and zhang is a ghoul (idk)
lycanthropy is different from being a werewolf, as lycanthropy is a disease
they solve normal crime and supernatural crime
decasim still exists, although isn’t very useful against supernatural crime
the clown steals her victims souls, forcing them to be stuck in our realm, unable to move on to the afterlife
after solving their murder case, the soul is able to move on
harvard’s mother turned him fully into a vampire before dying, to save him from the clown
if you lose your soul before dying, you go blind and slowly die if you don’t regain it
misae is a siren and boston is an orc
mystery girl is a human, who doesn’t like supernatural creatures due to someone she knew getting killed by one
supernatural creatures are common, but aren’t the majority

You know what time it is... Carlvard headcanon time!!
I had to do Carlvard next, they're taking over my brain. Living rent free in my mind (ignore the fact it took long to post this I forgor).
They met at college because they were in the same class. Carl was intrigued by Harvard in a sense. One day he saw him in the hallway and started staring unknowingly. Harvard noticed this and called him out. Carl got incredibly flustered, especially with Harvard's intimidating stare. However, as soon as Harvard saw him, he realized Carl wasn't a threat.
They eventually became study mates, going to cafes together and visiting each other's dorms.
They rented an apartment together after college cause Broadstone be expensive as hell (just like NYC irl frfr).
Carl developed feelings first while Harvard developed them later.
Carl calls Harvard "Harvey" as a nickname (only Carl is allowed to call her that, if anyone else does, she will glare at you).
Harvard will call Carl pet names in Spanish and Italian like "bonito" and "bello."
The matching pendants are actually friendship charms Carl bought for them in college! As their relationship develops, it becomes more like wedding rings lmao.
Carl worries about Harvard a lot and is afraid that she'll let her truama consume her.
Harvard also worries about Carl and his lack of self-confidence, he's just bad at expressing it openly.
Surprisingly Harvard likes being the little spoon while cuddling.
Harvard's love language is physical affection (giving) and acts of service (both giving and receiving). Carl's is also physical affection (giving) and words of affirmation (receiving).
Harvard is extremely touch starved while Carl is the most cuddly person ever.
Sometimes Carl will do Harvard's makeup if Harvard feels too tired to do it. He also fixes her hair sometimes.
Harvard's first relationship was with Carl while Carl has dated other people in the past.
When grocery shopping, sometimes Harvard would wordlessly put a six pack of beer into the shopping cart and Carl would have to pay with his ID (for context, the drinking age in America is 21, so Carl can legally drink, but not Harvard lol).
Speaking of alcohol, Harvard would get very touchy when drunk and be a lot more emotionally vulnerable. Carl tries not to get too drunk that often because when he does he gets wired asf and does stupid shit.
Carl would sometimes make Harvard breakfast in bed to practice his culinary skills (when they actually have the time off to sleep in late.)
Carl often comforts Harvard after nightmares. Harvard tried to play it off at first, but Carl wasn't having it cause empath brain sensed something was wrong.
Harvard likes when Carl scratches behind his ear and pets his hair (like a cat!)
They compliment each other's flaws. Harvard reminds Carl to have more confidence while Carl reminds Harvard that it's ok to be vulnerable about your feelings.
They didn't really have a confession per say. Their relationship just kinda slow burned into romantic one.
They didn't really confirm they were dating until after their first kiss.
Carl: "Does this mean we're dating now?"
Harvard: "Carl, I think we've been dating."
Due to Carl's jealousy issues, he would sometimes get a little possessive— NOT TO A TOXIC DEGREE THOUGH!!! If he senses someone trying to flirt with Harvard he'd come by quickly and interrupt join the conversation or subtly grab Harvard by the waist and pull him closer while side-eyeing the other person. Harvard never says anything about it though because he kinda likes it.
Harvard would sometimes jokingly call Carl his "sugar daddy" cause he's rich. Carl hates when he does this (I only now just had this headcanon cause of fanfiction. Thanks fanfiction!!👍)
That's it's for now! Again, sorry this took a while to post, I can't remember shit for the life of me lol. If I remember I might do Zhang or Manimani headcanons next.

granger is harvard’s foster father
manimani and harvard and childhood friends
the clown is a serial killer who works at their school as a disguise
misae is a teacher as well
carl’s parents forced him to date a girl that they liked
they ended up breaking up, which led to him meeting harvard and the gang.
manimani has a crush on the mystery girl from the trailer
the five of them have a small club for mysteries and detective stuff, which leads them to finding out the clown’s identity
decasim isn’t used for detective stuff, instead it’s a vr game like rec room

carl worried about valentine’s day and what he was going to do for harvard, while harvard remembered the day before and made last minute plans. the two of them built the lego roses, ordered food, and watched movies that day
they like going on movie dates
both are psychic when it comes to knowing what the other’s thinking.
carl often gets lost while driving (i don’t blame him the city’s huge), so harvard usually drives.
carl’s the only one who can talk harvard out of doing something

i hope we get a case where one of us are a suspect of a crime (but not too serious to the point where we battle, more like, one of us were at the scene and are suspicious)
what happens if you accuse the wrong person? does the game not let you? as you get farther in the game, will there be consequences?
harvard is very jhariahcore. idk why but some of the songs just fit him so much, especially Split!
they have a break room where they can do paperwork and get coffee and stuff. manimani occasionally brings in little things to decorate it, including a couch.
harvard has hair heterochromia, with the other color being brown. he just dyes it to cover it up
mikey has an older sister, who’s two years older
zhang and harvard are only childs

Carl Decapolice headcanon time because the brain rot is still bad
I know it has only been 2 days lol, bare with me.
Tw // Homophobia and transphobia from family members
He has a twin sister named Angelica. They are identical twins but they are not the same gender because:
Carl is transmasc!
He's also gay af! Whole ass fruit. Certified men enjoyer.
He's from British descent.
He has a weird mix between a British accent and an American accent.
His family owns a huge company so they are very wealthy.
His sister Angelica is a model and an unofficial spokes person of the Oxford family. She is extremely charismatic which earned her the nickname, "The Angel of the Oxford family." She's quite airheaded though.
His mother is the one that shows the most affection to Carl. However, she is quite oblivious to his inner turmoil.
He has conflict with his father he isn't really supportive of his son's queerness and only let him transition cause he wanted a man to be the heir of the company. This does not work since Carl wants to be a detective.
His father is also disappointed that, despite transitioning, Carl still "acts like a wimp" and that he "might as well stayed as a girl." Hearing this completely broke Carl.
This causes him to have doubts about his own gender, making him wonder if things would be easier if he didn't transition (This isn't true ofc, he's just in a dark mindset).
All of this conflict causes Carl to develop severe self-worth issues.
This leads to a massive jealousy problem (though he never talks about it) with the BPD as all of his colleagues are "more talented."
He's specifically jealous of Harvard, but his feelings towards him are complicated because they're friends and he has a crush on him.
He "dated" a girl in middle school because his parents thought they were "cute together."
He then proceeds to rebelliously date guys in highschool in secret. It did not end well though because his first bf was an asshole and by his second bf, his father found out.
His sister likes to tease him about potential crushes. Though she wasn't aware that Carl was gay and assumed he just liked girls at first. Now she teases him on what guys he likes.
He occasionally makes bets with Manimani (this is based on a fanfic I read).
He's bros with Mikey and Zhang. He goes on hangouts with them sometimes.
Carl had a phase where he wanted to become more "text savy" so he asked Zhang for help. However, he barely understood a thing Zhang said because he started talking about complex programming. Carl blanked out and gave up.
He asked Mikey one time if he could help him become "more manly" by gaining muscles, so they hit the gym. Spoilers: it did not end well.
Misae is very hard on him. Carl assumes that it's cause she hates him for being a "wimp" like his dad, but she's actually just trying to prepare him for the harsh reality of detective life and that he needs to be more confident in himself.
There's a specific story moment where he's the only one who's able to stop a criminal and he does this using his own skill in negotiation. He's successful and after this, Misae goes easier on him because she sees that he is starting to find his resolve.
Granger being the father figure ever, is the exact opposite. He reassures Carl of his own abilities and that he will become a great detective. Carl is quite confused by this and thinks Granger is just lying to make him feel better.
He doesn't know how to cook, but he started learning after he moved in with Harvard.
Carl's favorite alcoholic beverages are whiskey and beer.
He was initially a tea addict, but being around Harvard influenced him into drinking coffee a lot.
He can't drink black coffee, it has to have milk in it, specifically almond milk.
I might add more later, but this is all I have for now. I might either Carlvard, Zhang, or Manimani next.
