I have to apologize because I was literally planning to put some art on here and draw more and then I got some reeeeeaaaalllyyyy good news about my school applications and all of that is now on hold because interview prep baby! Wish me luck ya’ll

I think something is wrong with this blog and that would make me very sad because I can’t see this blog’s activity at all and it keeps telling me I have notifications when I don’t???? Someone send me a dm or something so that this blog gets a notification to see if it shows anything?

I’ve been drawing for three days straight and out of the blue I drew Jeremy perfectly 👌 just chefs kiss it’s him there he is on the page

I’m at that point in art skill —> art sight ratio where I can see better than I can draw and it is crushing my desire to draw/create anything

I do not know if this blog is being weird or what but I keep getting ghost notifications? Idk what to make of it?? But in a fun turn of events I was going to post on here in a few days anyways because I’m finally digitizing all my old sketchbooks so I’m probably gonna post some stuff I never got around to!

So! An exciting update to the crafting situation, not only have I crocheted a little doll purse, I have also made half of a test doll for the purse to go with! It’s an adaption of a doll pattern I already have (if anyone wants links dm me I will always recommend those patterns), so it’s not entirely my original work, but I wanted to make a doll in a different shape, so I kind of started with what I knew and adjusted from there. I’ll put up a side by side if I have time later!!!!

Ok ok ok so? I’m gonna try and make a poll! I doubt it will get much traction but it will at least be kinda fun? So! Essentially what this comes down to is I’ve been in a self imposed sort of art…. deprecation? (That’s not the word but it’s the best I can think of). I’ve been preparing for a massive test for a while, and even if I have to retake it I won’t be able to for months. Therefore, i will be able to indulge in my hobbies for the first time in a while, but I can’t decide what to do first! So, here’s a poll, for some suggestions and maybe I could try sharing the results on here in a few weeks time? So, here goes nothing?

(The other part is kind of for if you have suggestions for when I’m not in an art mood? If you have an art opinion and an otherwise opinion tag it by all means lol)

Your girl just discovered blender!!!! Like, I’d heard about it but it didn’t enter my attention span until now. A month from now I am gonna create the weirdest stuff!!!!!!

So I’ve been super busy for months and barely done any art and today I decided to distract myself by digitizing some of my old sketchbooks and let me tell you. Some of it was bad, some was hilarious, and some was better than I recalled it being. So, to new and inexperienced artists don’t give up lol, you’ll make some absolute garbage in your life, and come back to it later only to realize that one man’s trash can be the same man’s treasure with a little time and a lot of perspective!

(If anyone wants to see any of my old garbage let me know lol)
