so the vietnamese bread is a yeast-bread, proofing is the process of letting the yeast do it's thing so that the bread dough rises/puffs up, which will make ur bread fluffy and airy in the middle :) this step just involves u leaving the dough alone, usually for an hour. in total, it takes a few hours to make this bread bc most of the time ur just waiting around for the dough to proof :P so i recommend doing it on a day off or something :)

*just a note: if you have a stand mixer, u could use it to knead the dough instead of doing it by hand!

i'll send u some cake in the mail hehe 💓 i really like traditional art! so like painting, drawing, and sculpting! however recently i've been trying to get into digital art more! i like it but it's a bit frustrating learning everything (i use procreate) so it's been a long learning curve 😖 but recently i've been liking it more! i def prefer art over academics, my brain doesn't work well with studying ��‍💫 and baking bread isn't a boring answer!! that sounds so good! i really want to try making milk bread, and the vietnamese bread sounds so yummy too! is it hard to make? also i have no clue what ur talking about cooking is totally sexy lol-- what do u like to cook? i like to cook as well but since i'm picky i can never think of things to cook. i think my favorite thing to cook is tonkatsu, and i've cooked it so much it's pretty easy by now. i've also been really into cooking steak recently, although i'm still working on the cooking time😅

ohhh cool! idk much about sculpting, but it seems very hard >.< vietnamese baguettes are pretty simple! just ur standard: flour, sugar water, yeast! honestly the most time consuming part is the proofing :) lol idk i just think cooking is a chore, and i hate cleaning up afterward >:P

oooo i love tonkatsu that sounds so good 🤤🤤 i dont ever deep fry things bc im too lazy to clean up the oil after lol again im lazy, so these days i like cooking burrito bowls, bc most of the stuff i just need to prep and theres not much cooking involved LMAO but if its for a holiday or special occasion, i like roasting prime rib bc it's easy and looks impressive :P u should get a meat thermometer for when u make steak! then u can go online and see what temperature u need for the doneness u want, it takes all the guesswork/experimenting out :)

oooo all good choices!! i've never tried korean corn dogs, but i want to!! im sure i'll like it, i love fried foods :P it's really hot today and on days like this, i love eating naengmyeon and bibimmyeon! they're both cold noodle dishes, but naengmyeon has a vinegar-y broth, while bibimmyeon is mixed in a spicy gochujang sauce. i recommend both if u haven't tried it yet :)))

ALSO!! since u like street food, i recommend hotteok! its probably my fave korean street food :))) it's a chewy fried pancake with cinnamon-brown sugar in the middle, the brown sugar gets all syrupy when u eat it fresh its soooo good 🤤🤤 i also recommend walnut cakes and 붕어빵 (bungeoppang)! idk if u remember, but dk was nagging mingyu to buy him walnut cakes when they were driving home from last years TTT lol they're similar (pancakes with red bean or other fillings), but walnut cakes are smaller and in the shape of walnuts, and bungeoppang is in the shape of a fish :)

and nice travel picks! not just saying that bc we both have seoul and tokyo on our lists lol whats ur fave studio ghibli movie? i considered france for my list too!! 😃 but im not cultured like u, i just wanna go to cafes and eat pastries :P

i was gonna go to niagara falls! i also wanted to go to toronto as well, hopefully i'll be able to go in the near future. 💓 when i went to daegu we went to a bunch of places near by like e-world, a botanical gardens, cat & dog cafe,hiking up the local mountain, and visiting some places near by like a kpop museum haha. there was also some cultural places that where very pretty and we got to learn about some history! also the food was so good there was this korean fried chicken place i went to like 3 times dhdhdj i think the most memorable thing was when i went up the mountain there was a little restaurant where some kind older people who were there gave us a peach. it was really cute:( 💗
