There is no longer such a thing as an innocent photograph, if there ever was. Photographs that exult in the beauty of the natural world, for example, are either ironic statements about the world we are in the process of losing, determined expressions of obliviousness to that destruction (to often the case in my own work), or cynical attempts by people to conceal it in order to protect their own economic interest. This is not to suggest you should not create such photographs; only that you should be aware of what you are doing when you do.
This photograph, my own, is an example. This is of the ocean at Cape May, New Jersey this morning. I love Cape May and have been visiting it during the summer for well over 30 years.
But of course, given its location, Cape May and its beaches are very much at risk. From the Cape May Sentinel:
"As reported by the Cape May Sentinel last fall, rising sea levels and stronger storms pose a serious threat to Cape May both now and in the coming decades. Not only are sea levels rising, already more than one foot higher than in 1950, but the ocean will rise perhaps another one to two feet within the next 30 years, and up to five feet by 2100. Plus, southern New Jersey is sinking, thanks to a see-saw effect that dates back to the end of the Ice Age, when an enormous ice buildup to the north caused the southern half of the state to elevate – and now it’s dropping back down. Plus, Atlantic Ocean temperatures are increasing, too, causing the ocean’s water to expand. All of these factors combine to pose a challenge to Cape May’s future."
There is no such thing as an innocent photograph.

No doubt, that the best beaches in NJ are in Cape May. Love the environment, the architecture, and the nature surrounding Cape May.

Cape May Gifs
When you watch Cape May do this. Pretend Red is Katarina the moment Katarina starts walking into the water.
The moment Red takes her out of the water and looks back at the house, Red is Katarina.
The moment Red gets the blanket and sees Ida by the reception desk. Red was Katarina. When Red lies by the fireplace and wakes up. Red is Katarina. It was just him (remembering when he was Katarina) doing all that stuff in the whole episode all by himself back in 1991. I was a very different person then. YOU.
