my favorite movie… agh there are too many. but if i’m looking at like how much they influenced me? it’s a wonderful life. makes me sob every time. it’s a beautiful movie abt life… i’m not even religious but aside from that it really makes you reconsider everything in a positive way. it’s gotten me out of endless depressive episodes. i also really really love everything, everywhere, all at once for the same reasons + the creativity! it tackles nihilistic depression and influenced me in such a positive way! and then…. so many other movies are my favorites too!

my least favorite movie,, take this with an absolute grain of salt bc if i’m not enjoying movies i turn them off. so… i haven’t really seen many bad movies. but i’d say the third hobbit movie?

it’s not like. terrible or anything but i have adhd and it was SO stretched out and overdramatic that it felt painful to watch. it was such a long film and i was in the movie theater with my family so i couldn’t leave or turn it off and it got to a point where i was just bored and restless.

again, not bad, but i think they tried to make the hobbit like lord of the rings, which it isn’t. one book of content vs three books of content is very different- for the hobbit they stretched everything out and i wish they’d done just one or two movies instead of three 🤷

a hobby i want to take up? there are so many. knitting and sewing and learning a new instrument. ray chen’s playing in arcane really made me want to learn violin but… damn that level of playing is almost unattainable. still, i’d love to learn one day!

how i got into arcane: already talked abt this a bit but wanted to expand on it! my sisters got really into the show originally and were telling me how amazing it was, so that definitely piqued my interest, but i just… i knew deep inside that if i were to watch it i would immediately hyperfixate.

i was at the tail end of another hyperfixation but just wanted to hold on a little longer. i started getting tiktoks of the show on my fyp - the first one was a compilation of viktor’s ehhh moments and i was like 👀👀 “who is this?” but then the top comment was “i wanna hear him whimper” and i got scared and clicked away. i now see that this was a coward’s move.

then i got the jayce scene with ambessa and i was like… what the? and then like ten minutes after that was a tiktok of a silco cosplayer lipsyncing to a silco audio. and as soon as i heard silco’s voice i went “oh im gonna hyperfixate on HIM!”

and then i proceeded to immediately hyperfixate on viktor and a bit after, jayce. sjsjjss. i truly don’t think silco even had a chance compared to them- i’ve never hyperfixated so quickly. by the time i was done with episode two i was reading viktor fic. and my life was changed.

i truly do understand the appeal behind silco and i respect silco simps so much but for some reason it just… never fully clicked? but who knows. maybe one day i will have an awakening

hello! first time sending an ask here! in terms of the reactors for spn, do you recommend anyone? because right now im following a few people but only one of them has outright said that she ships it (and has even watched a spoiler-free jenmish compilation lmao). it is too bad she just started watching s7 so it'll be a while until she sees cas again.

the other people i follow are:

- this one straight dude who doesnt ship deancas (or atleast not aware of it) but its fine since he's a casgirl and its relatable how he freaks out everytime cas appears in an episode, and im excited bc he just started s8;

- this other pretty queer guy who's still in early s4 but is already in his early stages of castiel derangement syndrome so we'll see if he sees the romantic tension between dean and cas;

- and this other lady who's still in s2 but i have a feeling that she knows about destiel and will detect it once she's in s4.

hiii! welcome and thank you so much! <3 i think i follow every one of those you mentioned except for the lady who is still in s2, can you tell me who that is? (in all honesty i think i have seen every reactor at least once, because i am constantly starving for new content, so this question was right up my alley, so strap in!)

i really love alle.y box's reactions, she is great and a big destiel shipper but she only reacted to later seasons (11 - 15) and i think i like her reactions the best (but i am biased cause i am also a huge fan of her buffy reactions, of which she is currently watching s4).

i watch some of fan theory tv's reactions but honestly only if it's a destiel heavy episode lmao im looking forward to them reacting to tmwwbk soon. one of them has already seen the show. i can't really tell if she's a shipper but i feel like she is.

even though they are very dude bro-y, i find the guys from justus pretty funny and honestly am kind of curious how they will react to castiel (they are now in the middle of s3). one of them has already seen the show.

i watch the destiel heavy eps that sesskasays reacts to (which aren't a lot atm because she just started s4 sdfhshf), so far no signs of shipping detected lmao.

and then i also watch simplereactions but those i like the least because i feel like he just watches it and laughs and makes a remark every once in a while and that's it. the reason i love watching reactors is because i love hearing their thoughts and predictions and reactors who only watch an ep and bounce are a bit ehhh to me. it's the same 'problem' i have with dakara's reactions, who does react a bit more but still a bit too ehh for my taste.

abnormallyadam has done reactions as well to the later seasons and i loved watching his reactions to the destiel heavy eps, if you only watch one reaction from him definitely make sure it's his video for 15x18. i'm pretty sure he is the reactor jensen and misha shared the video from through texts because he is literally sobbing in it lol.

also this is a bonus one, and doesn't really count, but if you haven't watched dylanisintrouble's video of him only watching the first and last episode of supernatural, it's definitely worth it shfdjshf i love him so much (although this does require you to be confronted with the finale, so i get it if you'd skip this one)

The European economy will collapse, a domestic asassination attempt will be made on President Vladimir Putin, Islamic extremists will attack Europe with chemical weapons. Next, worldwide. The world will undergo climate change and suffer great damage. Peoples' awareness will change, an era of distress will dawn, people will be divided. We will witness shocking events which will change the fate of humanity. Thats not all, it goes on....Oil production will stop, trains will fly using solar energy. If oil production stops, the world can rest. In 2021, a strong dragon will seize the earth. Further, three giants will unite, some people will get red money. She also saw the numbers 100 and 5 with lots of zeros. As for the meaning of the dragon, if it were a nation, it is easy to see it as China, the three giants would be Russia, India, and China, and as for the 100 and 5, this could refer to 100yuans and 5000 rubles, as both use red notes. And finally, the last prediction is alien life in space will be discovered, the origin of life on eath will be revealed, and people will be able to make contact will their supernatural siblings from another world. Those are Baba Vanga's predictions. What do you think?

J: 25 years later, yes, she predicted what would happen in this year 2021. Well, I mean, she didn't say the name Donald Trump, she just said the 45th president would suffer. But the scary ones are peoples' awareness changing, and shocking events that will change the face of humanity. Thats been going on constantly since last year.

K: By the way, what were her predictions for the year 2020?

J: I wonder what they were.

K: I mean, I like this kind of thing, but don't psychics always put out tonnes of predictions.

J: They do.

K: So something is likely to fit.

J: Yeah, in the widest sense, something like this might happen.

T: Yeah.

K: Something out of these is bound to happen, so we can sit here and say, 'Oh yes, this is right', but if you really tried you could make any of them fit. Psychics do this a lot.

J: Well, yeah, I mean, she was quite specific with the 45th president getting an unknown ailment.

T: And with the assassination attempt on Putin, that was very specific.

J: Yeh, that was. Well..???*1 I'm interested in these bits. But look, it also says alien life will be discovered. This is good for Tokyo Sports.

T: Yeah, for Tokyo Sports, this is great.

J: What does Tokyo Sports think of all this? Will it come true?

T: We might be in trouble if it does.

J, T: Yeah.

Kami: As a god of the Sai baba generation, Im attracted to this name.

Kami: No, nothing. Only his name.

J: Haha.

K: Only his name?

Kamu: No, the names of psychics have impact.

J: Ah, of course.

T: Its true, psychics have these kind of plosive sounds in their names.

J: What does 'Baba' actually mean? Like in Sai Baba, or Baba Vanga?

T: Ah, maybe something like 'god'.

Kami: No, its more like babababa~mba~m!

T, J: Haha

J: Kami, what do you think of these predictions?

Kami: Oh, it happens a lot, some peole getting red money. But, it doesn't matter what colour, red, yellow...I want it.

K: You want it, right?

Kami: 100 and 5 with lots of zeros, I want as many zeros as possible added

T: Hmm, yeah.

Kami: I want them to give it out like bababa~m! Babababa!

K: He just wanted to say that, haha

J: Kami, are you drinking?

K, T: Haha

Kami: No, I'm not drinking.

J: You're not?

Kami: No. Joe, you're just paranoid.

J: Haha.

K: But actually, there was some news about the cure for cancer wasn't there?

T: Was there?

K: Yeah, recently.

T: Ehh? Well, maybe these predictions are on point. 85% of her predictions turn out correct...

J: Hm, yeah, if the nice ones are correct, that would be nice. Curing cancer and stuff. I don't want that one about climate change and great suffering to be correct.

K: Well, these things are definitely happening at least somewhere in the world.

T: Right, yeh. Oh, (*reading card*) in the year 4509, conversing with gods will become possible. She predicted that too apparently.

Kami: That has already come true, right? We're talking now.

J: Well, of course, we are doing that.

T: 2000 years early.

K: Yeh..2...2016 years early?

Kami: Sorry its with such a lousy god though.

J: Thats right.

K: Yeah, we are conversing, right?

J: We are so early!

T: Hahaha

Kami: This is one of the 85% correct predictions.

K: Its not, its wrong, we are conversing with gods 2016 years before she predicted it.

J: Yeah, Baba Vanga said it would be in the year 4059. Unless this god talking to us is a fake god?

K: Oh, theres that theory too?

Kami: Can you say that? A fake god?

J: Eh?

Kami? Can you say a god is fake?

J: I mean, if its a half-baked god..

Kami: Im obviously a god..

J: I can't see you though..

Kami: Well, yeah, you can't, haha.

T: Haha, its obvious?

K: We have no idea?

J: We can't see you.

T: But we do have the knowledge that Kami has quite a babyface.

J: I think Kami should make some predictions about what will happen in 2021, to prove to us that he's a real god.

requested by @ivyyie: ok, I always thought of something like that, Sam and Dean have a little sister, and when Adam shows up, he wants to take the reader out for a walk so she can be a normal teenager for at least a day, Sam and Dean allow, but Cas asks to go along, since he doesn't trust Adam and wants to protect Reader.

“no. no way. Not gonna happen” Cas huffed with his chest out, with his hands on his hips.

“I don’t need your permission to spend time with my sister” Adam tried to argue back.

“No” Cas stopped speaking when you walked into the hotel room.

You looked up from the lore book in your hands and over to Adam and Cas who were both red in the face then to Sam and Dean in the middle trying their best to calm them down. You raised an eyebrow at them, “What you guys fighting about?”, you put the book down on the table. “well?” you asked again when no one spoke.

“ehhh, Adam wanted to take your out for the day” Sam said awkwardly rubbing the back of his neck.

“like a hunt” you tilted your head to the side, “don’t think that’s a good idea”.

Adam pushed away from Cas giving him the side eye, Dean and Sam stayed where they were but Cas stepped closer too, “No like a normal day. We can do anything you want”. You mouth formed an o space as you understood what he meant. You turned to Sam and Dean for guidance.

“no issues here go have some fun, you deserve some” Dean smiled sitting down.

“really?” Cas said loudly, you looked at him shocked not used to hearing him yell. “I know he’s your brother but we can’t trust him” he said in a hush tone, “I’m just looking out for you” he put his hand on your arm.

“Cas” you sight blushing his hand away, “look I love you for looking out for me but I can look after myself and anyway have you seen him? I could floor him in a second” you heard Dean and sam snigger from across the room. “no offence” you nodded to Adam.

“is that a yes?” he asked looking at Cas.

Cas rolled his eyes in your direction and nodded his head. You sent him a smile and went to grab your coat. “one condition” you stopped to look at him. “I join you two”.

You stared at him and scoffed, “Fine if I helps you sleep at night”.

“I don’t sleep”

“I know, I know. Its just a saying” you shook your head, “Come on then, I hear the fair is in town”.

You had to practical beg Cas to watch you from a distance when you got to the fair, he wasn’t happy about it but did it in the end to make you happy.

At the fair you felt a little overwhelmed, sure you’d heard about fairs and what happened at them but actually being dead in the centre of one was strange. You looked around at all the other people having fun who knew what to do, you looked at Adam who looked in place too.

“so?” you strung out getting Adam’s attention, “what should we do first?”.

“Well which booth is your favourite?” Adam asked. Your face heated up at his question so you looked away embarrassed. “oh. You haven’t been to one before” he realised.

“well never really had the chance” you muttered, “its always the end of the world for us” you waved your hand in the air. You huffed “I mean look I have an angel following me around. I’m not normal” you pointed back to where Cas was intensely watching.

He cleared his throat and nodded to a booth, “well dad and my mom used to take me every year and we always did the gun one”.

Adam lend the way over to the stall where the back wall was covered in little red boxes with small metal people inside. “okay so you get bb bullets and you need to shoot 5 ‘people’ to win a prize”.

“sounds simple” you nodded.

“I’ll show you then you try” Adam smiled.

When Adam shoot his first shot you felt Cas behind you, “do you think he knows I can shot a gun better than him?” you questioned over your shoulder. Cas snicked when Adam nearly hit the man behind the booth. “hey, give me a go”.

Adam handed you the ‘gun’, you shifted the gun from one hand to the other getting used to the weight. The real gun in your jeans pocket was heavier by far and could shot better. But you relaxed your shoulders and got into the right prostitution, you lined the gun up and fired 5 perfect shots.

You beamed over to Adam and Cas. Adam looked a little shocked while Cas just grinned at you. When the man at the stall handed you the biggest prize, he had you skipped over to the boys. “Now that was fun”.

“Maybe we should give the booths a break” Adam suggested after you handed him a 2nd teddy.

You turned to face him holding another teddy and over to Cas who held 2 other prizes of his own, “yeah probably” you shrugged, “getting boring winning anyway”.

Adam smiled looking down.

“What else should we do?” you asked biting your lip.

“well since you cleared out all the booths, we could try some rides” he pointed to the big wheel, the best he could with his arms full.

You nodded excited, you let Adam walked ahead so you could talk with Cas. “You think you could cut him some slack, please for me” you pleaded.

Cas studied you not saying anything at first, he squinted his eyes at you. “I suppose I can leave you alone for 15 minutes”, you wrapped your arms around him but the teddies in his and your own arms got in the way. You settled with a quick kiss on the cheek.

“Thanks Cas, I can always count on you” you grinned. Cas watched you go with smile on his face.

“is he not following along” Adam asked.

You shook your head at him and laughed, “He just worries” you jumped up and down on the heels of your feet next to him, “and he promised he’d give us some alone time”.

He looked unsure and glanced back over to Cas who was still stood where you had left him, “That easy?”.

You smiled and laughed, “He means well Adam, he been through a lot with us. I don’t blame him for worrying”.

Adam looked sad for a moment, you looked at him confused. “You shouldn’t have gone through anything that involves angels and god knows what else, Sam and Dean neither”.

You laughed dryly, “it wasn’t so bad” you shrugged. He face stayed serious, you started to feel uncomfortable, you laughed again and elbowed him, “Stop, we’re here to have fun, right?”.

He nodded and did his best to laughed making you smile. “you right and look its our turn next” he pointed to the line at had gotten shorter.

Near the end of the evening Cas either trusted Adam or knew you would be okay enough to keep at a further distance. You had to admit it was nice to be ‘normal’ for one day, no looking over your shoulder, no hunting down whatever monster was terrorising people and having fun for what felt like the first time in years. You felt bad when you thought of it that way, you thought that if Dean or Sam heard you they’d be hurt but you knew they just wanted what’s best for you, like you did for them.

You lent against the motel door with a grin across your face, clutching all your prizes and the cotton candy you brought for the guys. “Thanks for today Adam”.

He stood a little away from you with his hands in his pockets. “you know I thought you would say no at first”.

You laughed cocking your head to the side, “Why?”.

“I don’t know, thought you’d think it was a stupid idea”.

“well I had a great day and you were right, it was nice being normal for once”, you put your things on the floor and walked over to Adam. He watched you move looking unsure the whole time, you pulled him into a hug before he could talk. He stayed still in shock, it took me a few seconds before he responded with back.

“when you’re in town, we should do it again” he suggested when you pulled away.

you smiled and nodded, “maybe the others could tag along too”.

“yeah! Maybe Castiel will be more relaxed then” he laughed.

You laughed too while you gathered your things from the floor and turned back to Adam, “I mean it, thank you”.

#1 - 4/5/2021

Sup so I wanted to make a side blog so that i can talk about my day and what not because i dont want to talk about it on my main blog but i love to talk with people so I’ll be posting little updates like this one here and some other stuff like note taking or talking about whatever I want to talk about.

Today’s been okay; i woke up at 7:30am which was an hour before when my alarm is meant to go off and it’s like that because i have school tomorrow and i wake up at 5:30 so i have time to mentally prepare and such. It turns out my alarm was actually set for PM so i fixed it for tomorrow and I went back to sleep because i was still tired and I had a headache (which i could have fixed with a cup of water but i, again, was exhausted).

i got woken up around 9:40 i think? (i dont really remember) by my dad because i had an orthodontist appointment at.. a... time??? I (it was at like 10:30 i think) and then i got ready, went to the ortho’s offic got my wires off because i have braces and i needed to get a cleaning, i went home for a little while to which i put my bands in for like half and hour to an hour long because my teef hurt.

at around 11:30 i left for the dentist because i needed to get my teeth cleaned.. yknow.. the whole point of this excursion- and my teeth got picked at for what felt like an hour but was probably closer to only half an hour; and then the dentist who was working on me told me i need to brush my teeth more which made me kinda mad because i DO brush my teeth enough- i do it after everytime i eat but like oh well i didnt brush before i went because i didnt eat (still havent because im meant to wait an hour before eating or drinking and i got back at 1:11 and its probably safe to eat but ehhh.. and she also told me to floss which is acceptable because i never floss unless i feel like i have to which should be everyday but its usually just like every month or so which is bad ik but like.. eh

so anyway- im home now and i want to waste away my last day of spring break maybe i’ll watch the Han Solo movie and start the Rebels series because my brother got me into Star Wars and i really like it or maybe i’ll rewatch some of the Clone wars series? or maybe i’ll go the classic route and rewatch something MCU? because i was in the MCU fandom before the Star Wars one and i Hype fixated on Star Wars for a while but now im just kinda in two fandoms which has never happened to me before and im not sure if i like it.

i really like The Falcon and Winter Soldier series so far; i enjoy the framing, the characters and i love how its not all just nods to past works and filled to the brim with easter eggs (haha easter eggs) like how the movies are and dont get me wrong i love that kind of fast pase action but sometimes you just gotta stroll down a dirt road surrounded by flowers as your new rival rolls past you in a jeep(?).

Im probably going to post art or something here if i ever feel like i want to post art here; maybe this’ll be a little vent/updates thing and a little bit a fandom because i tie fandom into my everyday life because yeah!

I have another ortho appointment at 4:05 to get my wires back in and im prolly gonna be doing something else today so i’ll probably edit this later if i remember!! until then imma bounce

Edit 1 : i’ve just got back and i started crying, i had lunch at 2:20 pm and all i had was some bread, cheese-itz and diet dr pepper which isnt too bad considering how ive accidently missed lunch several times before but i also got back from the Ortho and now i straight up dont want to talk which isnt much of a vibe but here we are.

i wanna sit on a voice chat with one of my friends and sit in silence but the person i wanna do that with isnt here rn and she hasnt for the whole week cause its spring break and its making me stressy and i dont like it, i think im going to watch something i’ve watched before to comfort myself; maybe the Prequal movies again? thats only about 6-7 hours right?? as long as i dont get distracted it will only be about 12 ish once i finish when i account for being distracted and dinner...

that actually sounds really nice, imma go rewatch the entire prequal serise!! i feel a bit better already and i havent even started :)

Edit 2 : I watched episode one and gave up on finishing episode two so i started watching the 2003 Clone Wars show which is pretty good so far! my friend got back and Im much calmer now.

overall thoughts on the defenders?

ok this is gonna be a long ass answer!!!

general stuff:

the plot was a bit cliche at times like really.... blow up the place we’re gonna be in and have a countdown detonator...... is this james bond

and the whole thing with the ‘’’’substance’’’’ felt very....... shoehorned in. i cant say i even fully understood that part of it. it felt like one episode was just the hand being assholes because thats what they do and then the next was... oh no we’re actually being assholes for this now

alexandra was disappointing. i expected her to be MORE, but i feel like sticking with madame gao would have made for a better main antagonst. which i guess she still kind of is, she’s just a behind the scenes kind of deal

but to bring in alexandra as this new character that’s so important and has so much backstory and then not actually give me any reason to believe any of it.... ehhh

danny was slightly more likeable than he was in iron fist. maybe a single iota more mature

danny/colleen just doesnt work as a believable solid relationship when its put up against luke/claire and it just felt out of place

BUT the way the first few episodes bought them together was really fun and took my mind off the fact that nothing real actually happened until halfway through the season

and in general... the plot was okay, the whole feel of it was solid, way more comprehensive than say... daredevil season 2 where the two halves of the season barely meshed

other stuff:

the team dynamic was so easy and so likeable and that is what’s gonna stand out regardless of any issues the show has imo

the luke/danny stuff felt so BAITY i loved it... it felt like one of them was 2 seconds away from saying heroes for hire at all times like it felt like the writers KNEW how important their friendship is in the comics and really tried to start that

and everything luke said to him when they first met about danny having power from the day he was born was so fucking well handled, especially considering all the issues with the show danny had just stepped out of. and luke kept the same values he had in his own show??

LUKE IN GENERAL WAS FUCKING HIGHLIGHT. his conversations with claire, him being the only one a bit worried about blowing up the building etc etc like... objectively the most heroic of the bunch?? the most legitimately altruistic

the right amount of karen page. i nap during her scenes but when she told matt that the problem wasnt the hand, that it was HIM, angels were singing and the world around me was glowing. the character herself acknowledges matt is the problem but karen fans are probs still gonna blame elektra

felt like a lot of side characters were just hanging around doing nothing in a police precinct

malcolm looked fucking good this season

VERY FALL FROM GRACE. they might not have done erynys but at times it felt like she WAS erynys just not in a separate body, and she was just trying to save herself the suffering of being fully herself again

matt and elektra’s fight scenes were probably my favourite part of the whole thing like anyone who knows even 1 thing about me knows i place a lot of importance on the ‘i spar best with you’ line from 616 and they really proved me right

mat got himself back in my good graces my fucking MAN. after the shitshow ending of s2 where he doesnt even wait for her to be cold yet before he goes and tells karen everything, i didnt have high hopes. but he was SO DETERMINED to save her right from the get go, and he had no intention of leaving her at any point. and that just... captured a lot of things about their comics selves

the two of them not even speaking but both fucking DESTROYING people for fucking with the other???????

THE ENDING..... god i love him so much for staying with her. she was obviously afraid of dying again considering the trauma she was still recovering from the first go around and so far, all she’s had in the mcu is pretty shitty treatment from everyone around her right until the second she died so for her to ‘’’die’’’ again but this time be with the man she loves who loves her and not be alone for once and actually have someone do something SOLELY for her with no ulterior motives is just.............. so good. and it fucking kills me because thats all i want for her in ANY universe so i really am way more contented than i was expecting to be

and elodie yung was............ amazing????? to have to be so silent in a lot of her scenes but still convey all of the above shit

all i was kind of expecting the angsty messy matt show but he had some like.... legitimate growth on his own without having foggy or she who shall not be named around to change for. and him saying that being daredevil IS his life and he so obviously didnt wanna give it up because thats who he is and THATS COMICS MATT THERE HE IS!!! and then to go out the way he did jsut..... felt right

it wasnt perfect but it redeemed a lot of previous issues w them from s2 and it might just be my reading into things, but to finally see a lot of comic aspects of their relationship incorporated into this season made the whole show for me?? to just have..... my absolute!!!! favorite!!!!! character!!!! in her iconic relationship handled WAY better this time......... im at peace and for once not completely full of hate and i really am floored by just how much i love elektra natchios and elektra with matt like they really are...... so important 2 me i never get to see them together in comics but i get this thanks @ god for doin me a solid here

THEORY TIME PART: EHHH(?)

so under the presumption that detention will be the last we see of “Anti” for a while (at least until a new horror series or something happens on St patrick’s day haha), im going to put my notes and thoughts as cohesive as possible.

(EDIT: started this a couple weeks ago but never knew when to post it/didn’t finish with my thoughts. but in light of the recent “Anti” pic i decided it’s be best to get this out of the way)

(first and second theories over here and here!)

so, from the thumbnails and the zalgo, (as well as the multiple posts Jack (the real one) has sneakily reblogged/like/responded to........), It’s pretty safe to say that yes, poor Jackaboy is trapped while Anti is no doubt frolicking scott-free til probs halloween. But while all we can do currently is just watch, at the very least (because of Jack’s desperate attempts at reaching out) we can now piece together most of what’s actually going on in terms of this whole narrative.

(please bear with me, it may get long...)

note: I’m going along with the idea that the phone call voices were Anti (as possibly confirmed by Jack reblogging this, noting that op had asked in the tags if that was Anti)

1st video of detention: is technically normal, but:

thumbnail shows Jack (our jack) unconcious, a slit on his neck despite not reaching that part of the game yet, but alive for the first time since halloween

Anti knows and feels this, so comes in twitching at “Fang...i am waiting for you” (translation: JACK, i am waiting for you). and the after outro “ strange sounds happening not sure i like them”

2nd video of detention: “Anti” appears for realsies, but something’s off with the glitches:

Roles are reversed now, so Jack’s trying to do what Anti did by coming out in the glitches; starts reblogging theories w/o comment and uses the description to finally make contact with us after three months (”Hey! you guys, Anti....is he back? wait (sees anti fanart come in, trending on tumblr) .....di- did you guys forget about me? or are you just too afraid of him to remember?”)

After this part is said in the actual video though, “Jack” responds “I like it, I like it a lot, it’s cool!”. maybe again taunting Jack for his poor attempt of copying his glitches (after outro: “I did kinda slit his throat”)

Jack rebelling obviously weakened Anti though, so much so that the thumbnail for this video is Anti, bloody and scars on his face

3rd video of detention: Change in thumbnail, it’s actually Jack! but wait:

Jack looks broken, trying to force himself out of the screen to escape but not being strong enough to (significant gap b/t episodes also maybe weakened him), so the glitches are weaker and not of him exactly (first glitch is from the after outro, “Blood eyes” and the second is of “Jack”( actually Anti) smiling creepily. Not to mention the glitches occur in the area where the ”glitching” people are imprisoned, specifically WHEN ONE OF THEM ESCAPES (”Jack” : “noooo....dooont”)

so while he doesn’t have enough strength to pull himself out to appear in the glitches, he can at least show us that yes, Jack is not Jack right now. and that yes, Anti never left

and because of Jack’s efforts, Anti’s getting weak and his true face is starting to show (see http-jack’s post on the “smiley-faced freaks” part)

However, all this effort is leaving a mark on poor Jack, plus not to mention that because of his glitches WE’RE LOVING ANTI EVEN MORE NOW BECAUSE OF HIM. so in this ep’s phone call, “miss fang, your country appreciates you assistance”, Anti is taunting Jack again (translation: ”Jack, your community appreciates your assistance”). So, Jack’s description simply reads the obvious “Broken spirit...LET ME OUT”

Final video of detention:

both anti and jack fighting for control in the thumbnail, but jack’s more faded while anti’s at the front; description reads “betrayal, neglect, mistake”

Betrayal is possibly jack’s feelings towards us right now; while we did notice and start considering that it may be jack trapped, WE STILL CONTINUE TO LIKE ANTI....(granted, i have no idea how we’d get to saving jack still, but in the context of the narrative, we really suck at this haha)

Neglect- detention, the first series where Jack made an effort to escape anti, didn’t do to well on the channel compared to most other series. it wasn’t really high in demand, and with jack’s birthday and valentine’s day taking precedence, interest feigned. leaving the real Jack ignored once again

this also explains why the glitches in this episode were different from the other episodes: Jack only actually appears ONCE, with a look of worry at the beginning of the ep, with the other glitches simply emphasizing fake Jack’s face (especially important when looking at that “memories are like a mirror” line

Jack is very weak at this point in the storyline, so while he himself can’t bring himself out to appear in the glitches, he does have enough strength to at least try to confirm to us that Yes, something is off with “Jack” and that Yes, it’s most likely him that is STILL running the show

Also, i wish i had written this down at the time cos i dont remember everything cos i cant go back to watch it rn since im at work (also cos the captions are completely missing on this part -_-). doesn’t the conversation at around 28 minutes seem to be like one between Anti (weird voice) and Jack (normal voice)?

Last thoughts/additional things cos i’ve been writing this for three weeks now:

the last anti thing we saw was a tag left on a gif made by marielgum of a dejected Jack turning away while Anti was all “normal looking”: WAITFORME

i feel that this is probably jack talking, asking us to wait for him until he had enough strength and/or anti was weak enough to come back again. HOWEVER, I also feel that this is also a last little jab right back at Anti who, before this resurgence even occured, did the same thing to Jack in the first episode of Detention

P.S. and with today’s possible hint courtesy of Instagram, im pretty sure that the wait is almost over....

K: Hi, this is Dir en grey's Kaoru with this episode, uh, this week's episode of the Freedom of Expression. Joe san, Tasai san...it feels like a while since we were last here.

J, T: Yeah.

K: We've been on location, plus last time we filmed 4 episodes at once. Quite a while has passed since then.

T: It has.

J: Nothing new with you?

K: No, nothing.

T: Hahaha

J: Tokyo Sports seems pretty busy..

T: Yeah, I watched you two recently...on Niconama.

J: Ah, yeh. You wrote an article, thanks for that.

T: I was a bit envious while working on it.

J: Yeh, but what about that Tokyo Sports hoodie? How is it doing?

T: Yeah, it looks like its selling.

J: Right.

T: Thanks to you two.

J: No, no, its thanks to Kaoru, but..

K: No, no, its nothing.

J: You gotta make something else for round two.

T: Yeah, there might be a T-shirt collaboration in the works.

J: Got it! This is happy news, the news that Dir en grey will screen an avatar music video. Dir en grey will reveal a new music video on New Years Eve from 11:00pm, which includes avatar characters created using 3D scans of the members. The Explosion screenings of 'The World You Live In', have been sold out. So an encore entitled 'The World You Live In - additional' will be held on New Years Eve as an online broadcast. As well as a special talk event with the members, a music video with real avatar characters, made by 3D scanning each member, will be screened. Kaoru?

K: Thank you

J: This is good news, isn't it?

K: So as a rule, we always broadcast this show on Friday, but we've made it a bit irregular this time in order to talk about this. Well, of course, I've seen it already.

J: Have you? What was it like?

K: Well, first of all, as for the filming, we did our make up and costume etc, and had cameras surrounding us 360°. We filmed it there first, and then in a different studio, we put on clothes that had pointers all over them, and I played air guitar...

J: Ah, you performed.

K: And then we took photos seperately.

J: It sounds like hard work, was it?

K: Not really, it was over quite quickly.

J: Really?

K: For the photo shoot in full dress it was like, 'flash..flash..Ok, finished'. It felt like a waste of all the make up I was wearing. Like, 'Isn't there anything else?' haha.

J: Ah, if only you could've have done more...But when you were finished with all that, they made it into a moving person?

K: Well, yeh, it has the kind of atmosphere as if its in a game.

J, T: Ehh?

T: What are the facial expressions like?

K: It wasn't possible to go as far as making different facial expressions. Well, i mean, you could do that if you had the time, but we didn't...

J: This time you didn't go that far? But its the first time for Dir to try this kind of thing, right?

K: Yeah.

J: Was there any kind of catalyst that made you think, 'Lets do this'?

K: Well, there was a kind offer saying like, 'We can do this kind of thing'..

J: A suggestion came, and you decided to give it a go?

K: Yeah, thats it, kinda like that.

J, T: Ahhh.

J: You know, this is...

T: It looks interesting.

J: Its exciting, right?

K: When I was playing, there was a pointer right in the position that I usually hold my guitar, so they asked me if I could change the position.

J: Ah, the the postion you play the guitar?

K: Yeah. They tried to help me change the position, but it was still interfering, so I ended up playing up here at chest level, which would nomally be impossible, haha.

T: Hahaha

J: Pretty high up, its not very Kaoru style, is it?

K: I think it'll be a sight to see.

T, J: Hahaha.

K: Its soo high up! Haha

T, J: Hahaha.

J: By the way, are you influenced by anyone in particular as to the position in which you hold your guitar?

K: No, its just the best position I can play in, based on the size of my guitar.

J: Ah, I see. But somehow you ended up playing up here while filming this mv?

K: Yeah, well..I had to raise the position a bit.

J: Ahh, did the other members have to change anything?

K: No

J: Just you? Because it got in the way of the pointers?

K: Yeah.

J: Ahh, really? Die always plays quite low down doesn't he?

K: Yeah, he does. When we first put on all those pointers and mimicked playing the instruments, it came up on screen as just like moving lines. Even just looking at that, I could tell it was Die straight away.

J, T: Ehhh.

K: The shape on screen looked just like Die.

T: Thats pretty interesting.

J: He's very characteristic, isn't he? How do you film the drums? With pointers on them?

K: Haha, pretty tough, right? We had to use a photo of the drums and stick them on.

J: It seems like drums would be the most difficult to play by air. Or was it not that bad?

K: Well, if the positions of the pointers were set then...

K: Ahh, and it was over very quickly?

K: Yes　

J: And you were holding your guitar up here? I say that, but I don't know how good it looks *1, haha. Well, if i had to choose, playing it lower down probably seems cooler. There was a lot of people in the 90s playing guitar like that, right? Punks and stuff. They played it quite low down. There isn't anyone who plays it up high, is there?

K: No, not really.

J: How about actually holding it like that, Kaoru?

K: It would be pretty difficult to play.

J: It could be the 'Kaoru position'.

T: Haha.

J: The cool position!

T: Haha

K: Yeah.

J: Im looking forward to this.

T: The song is the new single 'Ochita koto no aru sora'?

K: Yeah.

J: Are you gonna test this out once and see the reaction, then maybe do more?

K: I think it would be interesting if we could spend a bit more time on it, and brush up the backgrounds and stuff.

J: You might be able to make new creations using only this. I am looking forward to this.

T: The broadcast will start at 23:00, ohh so its gonna be on as the year changes.

J: Yes.

K: First we'll show the same footage that was in the explosion screening, and then after the year changes we'll appear, and then play this mv.

J: Ah, I see.

K: During the live broadcast with the members, we'll play this. And then we'll kinda talk a bit.

J: I see.

T: This is a great way to bring in the new year for the people watching.

J: Right? There wasn't much good news in.2020, so they will really appreciate this piece of hope appearing at the end of the year. They'll be looking out for the postion of the guitars!

J: Thats it.

K: It seems like Kami had no interest in this topic.

Kami: Well, of course the images were good, but I really thought the song was good. Dir en grey are good at writing songs.

T: How about making a Kami avatar?

J: We've never seen what Kami looks like..

Kami: I can't show you that yet.

K: We could make an avatar, and then have it come on screen, when he's here.

K: Tasai could create the character.

J: Like his legendary..Oh, lets do that.

T: But I can't draw him, I need to see him. Otherwise I'd have to imagine what he looks like.

K: Yeah, just draw it from imagination.

T: Like my own image of Kami?

J: Yeah, something like that. Well, in that case we could each try drawing him..

K: Even if it isn't a moving character, we could put it up on that line that appears when Kami talks..
