I loved the YYH remake (they did so well with the character's mannerisms!) I watched the subbed and dubbed. The actors really got into character, which had me grinning. Like Kudos to Kitamura on nailing the Yusuke run. (Hiei's sped-up ninja run made me laugh. anime ninja runs rarely look serious live-action.) Also, Hongo friggin NAILED Hiei. They did nerf Hiei, his character wasn't written to come off as powerful as he was in the anime.
Botan felt true to the character in the subbed, while the dubbed felt like a new take on the character, but I adored both versions. I mean...She was my favorite when I was little.
But I would have 100% vouched for different hairstyles.
Don't get me wrong the costume department did a good job on the hairstyles - they looked good. (the rest under the cut to save dash space)
However, personally, after seeing hundreds of cosplayers dress as these characters, I've seen many options on executing the hairstyles from the original anime that would have made it feel more like the original character design.
They also hold up pretty well with stunts, as we all know, cosplayers can get physical while LARPing.
Unless they were going for more realism, then I totally get it, but the realism was gone when people started booty-hopping over cars 🤣😂😆
I loved it. It was so much fun to watch this remake. My younger self would have been happy with this aswell.

Not Danganronpa or RainCode, but as a fellow enjoyer of Cult of the Lamb, I thought I'd ask how you're enjoying the new update that got released? I personally am finding the lore tablets difficult to find.
I'm having a lot of fun!! I've only found two lore tablets, but I'm busy with a lot of other stuff in the game so it's not like I'm searching for them specifically (I had only Just beat The One Who Waits when the update dropped)
I was very sad that the lamb can't get bitches so I just had my two spouses have a kid for us (I didn't know Narinder's kids are doomed to be ugly though.... smh my head) and my two mushroomos won't let get together for my experiment I want to see a baby mushroomo
But yeah I'm having a good time with it, I put all my spouses (and Leshy) into the Kawaii Robes <33

thinking abt barriers between sport and spectator and the correlation to perceived interpersonal relationships between an athlete and every other human, family or fan.
#saw a video of a football man squealing and singing the paw patrol theme to his daughter in a silly voice#and hugging her in full fb uniform when she cried on the sidelines and giving her a ball he scored with to comfort her#and wearing bright pink cleats so she could spot him on the field#hockeys could never. are literally unable to. because there is glass in the way#and so now hockeys have their Ferda Boys all day every day reputation#which in turn makes the hockeys make it truer which perpetuates the stereotype which makes it truer and it’s a vicious cycle#there is a physical barrier keeping them from displaying meaningful interactions thus limiting how much of a ‘family man’ a hockey can be#not that physical touch is the only way to have a meaningful interaction. but it is the most visible#and thus the most perceived and the most dissectible. you can pick it apart.#this is a good post i like it. picasso#im going to save this post for a rainy day and then hella expand on it
