god, the ichibi truly is the most terrible bijuu of them all huh. like he's not even that strong, among the bijuus at least he is the weakest but he seems to be so much more terrible to live with than the others. and gaara ... he is not even That strong either? at least not at first, he breaks down all the time. and his jutsu repertoire is not all that various either, his main strength is his defence but after lee breaks it, all the other opponents he faces afterwards manage to break it as well. gaara i think is the epitome of a failed bijuu-host relationship .. his bijuu might be willing to help him by sharing his power with him but that power is too much for him and moreover, the ichibi doesnt help him exactly either, he moreso just uses him as his marionette to sate his own bloodlust .. as opposed to the other, non-jinchuuriki ninjas, gaara has an INSANE level of power and chakra but he cant channel it properly and its too much to handle for him. the image of his sand shield around his body cracking is fitting i think cuz his power quite literally breaks him apart

tams azula is sooo fascinating bc while canon azula doesn't really show her age at all like she's completely desensitised to so much shit 'she is fourteen' is not a justification for ANYTHING both in her own mind and in other people's, in tams she has zuko. and yes the world has been abundantly cruel to her but zuko hasn't. he's basically raised azula and he's done so in a way that she's allowed to show her age, but she still only shows her age in very azula-esque ways. there's no reluctance to see violence like you'd expect from a fourteen-year-old, and like ive said before, that means zuko can't play on that reluctance in order to shield her, but he still wants to shield her from that violence because regardless of what SHE feels about it, as the eldest he knows fundamentally that she shouldn't be seeing certain things no matter how well she can handle them. and seeing zuko effectively PLAY azula in order to protect her is so interesting and complicated and fun

My headcanons for the named trio in The Cursing of Chateau Castle series:
Josephandre is a big bear. It just fits for him I think! He gets he/him pronouns, and as a way to make him a liiiil more relatable for Mira, he'd have two craft types (Rock type being his main one and paper craft for the other). Battle style wise, I think it fits him to be more of a self-sustaining tank. He buffs defense, heals, and puts up shields. For his weapon, he'd use his fists like Isabeau. He'll be the second fastest in the trio.
Lady Irene-Janine-Kanine looks like an elegant noblewoman on the outside but she has vibes similar to Euphrasie! She gets she/her pronouns. Her craft type is Paper. Battle style wise, she's more on the offensive side, a main dps kind of thing. Most of her skills focus on buffing attack and speed, she'd have an item that helps regen her hp a lil bit and her chosen weapon is an umbrella. The tip is a sharp blade so it's used like a spear that has a hidden sword in its handle. Open it, and it becomes a shield! That'd be one of her skills too, although it's only applicable to her. She's the fastest one of the trio.
Pierre-Jacques-Erneste looks like a nobleman and carries himself as such! He gets he/they pronouns. Their craft type is Scissors. Battle style wise, he's more of a debuffer, skills focusing on weakening the enemies, slowing them down, poisoning them. Their weapon is a sword dagger, though he doesn't seem to be able to handle it well, how clumsy! But he Is a nobleman so it makes sense! Oh but... why doesn't he have a title? They're the slowest one of the trio, how strange, he seemed to be faster than Lady Irene-Janine-Karine that one time though.

Bobbi: Fantastic.
Bobbi, 5 minutes later: This is Agent Morse to safehouse, does anyone copy?

Bobbi: Your locations been compromised, you need to get out of there immediatley. Rendezvous with Agent Coulson at these coordinates.
Kara: Will do, thanks for the heads up. Take care of yourself, Morse.

Gabrielle Union as Angela Harvey in Scream (1996)
Angela's plan for high school was simple—get in, get out, get gone. Woodsboro was where she was born, but the guys were dipshits and the girls were straight; it was never meant to be her home. She'd come back to visit her parents, sure, but that was the beginning and end of her attachments. The nature of growing up was that making friends had always been a game of catch and release. She wouldn't miss anyone else enough to stay after graduation.
Then she met Sidney Prescott, kind and wide-eyed and committed to totally acing their lab project. It was hard not to care about her. Then, through Sidney, she met Tatum Riley, and, well—it was impossible to not care about her. Angie had always known she didn't like boys, but she hadn't realized she could like girls until then. Unfortunately, the boys Sidney and Tatum kept around were patently unlikable, but she could deal.
And she was, until their sleepy little town was woken up by the murder of Sidney's mom. She and Tatum were barely holding Sidney together before the killer returned to try to tear her apart for real this time. Surviving high school had never been so literal.

since everyone’s asking about sword of fate lately, do u have any postgame(?) zelink thoughts/ideas
YES. ok for those of you who are new or dont like scrolling through my blog for the context of some random au the zelink relationship pregame/in-game basically goes: vaguely antagonistic > reluctant (on link's part) friends > very close friends > magical destiny bullshit. link has some internal shit to work out before he really gets close to zelda but it all kind of resolves itself due to ingame events.
anyway by the end of the game we have a situation where zelda is still totally blaming herself for everything that happened to link and his family. she now understands that she and link are a part of a cycle of reincarnation, and because of that she's no longer sure if her pursuit of a friendship with link even when he was standoffish was actually out of a desire for companionship or if it was the goddess's spirit pushing her closer to someone she knew could play the role of hero. shes fucked up about it. shes scared to be close to him after, in her eyes, ruining his life. but she still WANTS to be. she really does love link, but those feelings are so caught up in everything else and she is so SCARED of herself that she has a really hard time confronting those feelings.
Link, on the other hand, knows exactly how he feels about zelda. he knows that he loves her--he has spent a good portion of his time now chasing after her and attempting to convince her of that. He's at a point now where he just wants to push all the destiny bullshit to one side and go back to the way they used to be, but he also knows realistically that things have changed. he does his best to help get things back to normal for them both, as normal as they can be now.
he keeps his job as a palace stablehand. it's better money than he ever made in lurelin. (he was not a very good fisherman. he tried very hard tho.) zelda doesn't visit him anymore. there's no dodging of tutors and hiding in haystacks trying to stifle laughter. He visits her instead, and over time it gets easier. the magical destiny bullshit fades from their minds and they are suddenly no more than best friends again, with a bit of intense shared history tacked on. there's so much between them that goes unspoken. i honestly dont even think they ever officially start dating. people are just kind of like oh yeah zelda and the fuckin stable boy are in love. it's so obvious there's no point in making an official statement about it or anything. they're just a unit, never one without the other.

Ranni and Radahn's servants know each other, and after the Festival, Iji and Jerren seems to have some kind of meeting and probably they were happy to see each other and when Jerren dies, he calls us traitors and wants to warn Iji. Do you think Tanith had a relationship with Radahn and Ranni's servants in this way?
Hmmm, my gut feeling is no… Iji and Jerren most likely have a close relationship because they were employed by the Carian royal family at the same time, so they would have been interacting around Caria Manor together. Regarding Tanith though, I get the feeling that Rykard married her after he was already established as praetor at Volcano Manor, rather than when he was still just a prince of Caria. And if Tanith never lived at Caria Manor, then she wouldn’t have had much interaction with Ranni and Radahn’s respective servants.
The timeline is murky, and there isn’t a ton of evidence to prove this idea one way or the other, so my thoughts are just based off of the impression I got from the story: There isn’t any evidence (visual or textual) that tells us that Tanith ever lived in Liurnia, and in fact, the robes and mask she wears are of a fashion that we see exclusively among nobles in Altus and Limgrave (and very tellingly, not in Liurnia). This tells me Tanith probably took up her role as consort while Rykard was an established lord in the Altus region.
It’s still likely that Rykard would’ve taken Tanith to visit Caria Manor though, so she’s probably at least familiar with Iji and Jerren… but I can’t really imagine them hanging out due to their difference in status.

I'm not done yet but hey are you giving zuko eldest daughter trauma because I'll fucking kill you I read ONE line it's probably the first of what's to come but I'm sending the hate ask now xoxo
ofc i wouldn't do that! he's just fistfighting a saviour complex and is eternally burdened by the responsibility of raising and caring for his sister while simultaneously being a child himself and always putting himself before the worst of the war so that azula doesn't have to all the while growing more and more rage towards the situation until it all comes out in a very cataclysmic scene that i will definitely cry at when writing :)
