Hihi!! Idk why but Hero's hair was a MENACE to draw. I usually never have trouble with it, but then again I'm trying out the omori calendar artstyle (djsjkdsm I think the reason why I keep failing at the omori artstyle is because I keep trying to implement all of them at the same time)

Yeahh colouring him was actually a last minute choice lel- I figured I should colour him for the whole feel, but I think it just made it look less omori..

Probably because the original omori calendar art is more saturated? But then I started overthinking about people accusing me of white washing him,,, If you put Mari and Hero side by side, it looks normal, but by himself it might stir some problems and I really didn't want that--

Alright, I've been plagued with thoughts of Soundwave running on all four of his [non-tentacle] limbs toward someone to deliberately freak them out, so, would your version of our resident cryptid ever do that? Or would it be out of character for him? I've been thinking about it for an hour. I can't decide if it's plausible or not. Like, he's definitely the type to screw with others... But might not want to stoop to acting like- well, a complete maniac.

...Also, does he ever use his visor to confuse or scare enemies? Like, imagine just, so many rows of teeth, inside a slowly opening endless maw. ...Maybe that's a bit much though. ...But, well, thats what I would do if given half the chance. That or cats, no in-between, just terror or cute.

I'll answer your questions but I wanna preface it with: this is the realm of fantasty/sci fi and fanfiction. If you're not happy with my answers, SW can do whatever you want him to do in your head and in your stories.

The trolling aspect is definitely in character xD However I've always thought of his body as being terribly unsuited for many positions, including being on all fours. We do see this in the story one time: Ch 10, after Megatron throws him into the force field. His frame - to my mind - would struggle a LOT trying to move in this position, and so that's how I've written him. His fingers are thin and delicate (this is actually hc: canon shows him easily punching things, which I forgot, lel), and his limbs are also very thin and very long. I just can't picture someone with forearms that long and thin being able to balance well on all fours, let alone charge at people in that position. So, no, the SW I've written would not do that.

I'm gonna go with no, other than using his visor to command the space bridges we see in canon. I say this simply because the SW of the show doesn't strike me as desiring to do something like that, which requires a mote of creativity and the desire to evoke a specific emotional reaction. The SW of the show seemed to be focused to the point of getting things done without ANY extraneous planning or motions. TEG SW was TFP SW for the first 10 chapters, so he never did this kind of thing. And afterwards, I think it wasn't necessary. He's not able to sneak up on anyone on the LL, what with his size and his frame registering as "enemy!" to people (even Rodimus had that reaction for a long time). The visor has a very specific shape and is thus very recognizable, imho, so that kinda ruins the element of surprise... again though, the trolling aspect is very in character. If he could project light, like we see Mirage and Hound do in various continuities, the crew would be in real trouble >;D

The teeth thing sounds soooooo cool and reminds me of an art that I really like that I can't find right now. But if I do, I'll reblog with a link.

Whenever art takes ages I lose patience quickly so I end up rushing stuff, and that's mostly because of Instagram's format

I got kind of obsessed with adhering to the aesthetic of my preexisting art in my gallery and whenever I didn't draw anything good enough for Instagram or didnt match my old work enough, I'd just get mad at myself because I could never look at any drawing I did on its own merits

Why yes, I enjoy yumimei very much~~! It ends up ranking second 'cause Justine is right there and Blackquill seems more like Fran, but it is a really sweet ship that deserves more attention

Something that irks me tho, is that most ppl ship it because they could bond over ""their abusive fathers"" but like- i dont subscribe to that headcanons... like at alllllll lmao, and lest forget that Blaise has met little Franziska so the possibilities of them acquantied from very young is totally possible

So uhh I finally made Whisper 2040 tickle art and I tried my best to make him look like him, because every God damn attempt makes and look like sans so I tried my best not to make him look like sans, so I hope you guys like it. Well, they did try my best since I never drew this guy in a long time, so I hope you guys like it because he kind of deserves tickles as well.

Also all his little ears are really ticklish, so basically a little touch what actually make his ears flick, kind of like, how a dog's ears work when you like touch them the flick the ears, while he is feather sensitive on his ears says the only closest thing to his head whisp lel
