#the secrets of the immortal nicholas flamel#sotinf#sophie newman#josh newman#there may be a moment in the last two books that is better to compare with the book one moment but I haven't gotten there yet#I have now officially read all the books in this series I own#i only own 4 out of 6#so I guess I will not be finding out what happens next for a while!#but like. the moment Sophie made that book about josh in book one I was just like oh okay he's going to be the 'bad' one#he's the one whose going to lose his way and be the one to turn on sophie instead of the other way around#that's not to say that perenelle and flamel are the good guys. because they're also highly shady#but in terms of sophie and josh. this is. yep. that checks out#also just realized books five and six and gold and silver#haha symbolism!!#nice
