okay but since Juke is endgame, I keep imagining how they’d portray that ending in what could’ve been season 5. like what that epilogue would’ve realistically looked like.
Gosh. I love getting to know this but also it hurts thinking about what could’ve been.

On the edge... (Charlie Gillespie) part 1
A/N : So sorry guys, I’m posting it again here, anyway enjoy. Don’t hesitate to point out any mistakes.
Bonne lecture ❤️
Summary : It’s not that you are insecure but seing Charlie and the onscreen chemistry he has with Madison is making you uncomfortable. And it obviously lead to a fight.
Word count : 2,1 k
Tumblr media
Somehow you had passed your exam with a flying hand and you were ready to rest during your vacations. Vacations that were obviously well deserved. Charlie, your boyfriend, was currently shooting with Kenny Ortega in Vancouver. Living quite far from there you could not go see Charlie every other weekend. However you decided to go on set with everyone during your vacations.
You have already met the whole crew, they were really nice to you, and immediately you felt included in there tight knit group.
You were just so excited to see Charlie after months of separation. You had missed him just as much as he had missed you.
He did not know you were coming to surprise him, it was supposed to be, well, a surprise. You took an uber to Charlie and Owen’s apartment. Those boys really hide their key under their doormat. Do they know that this is dangerous ?
You enter the flat and were met with silence, the boys might still be at the studio or filming or whatever actors do. You took time to take a long shower to wash off the sweat from the flight. You even took a small nap to regenerate.
You heard loud voices in the hall and you just knew that one of the voices belonged to your boyfriend. A bright smile already on your lips as you waited for him to enter his house. Owen was the first one to acknowledge you.
« Y/N ! How are you doing ! What are you doing here ? We are so happy to see you ! » he embraced you in a hug, not for too long because Charlie pulled him off of you.
He did not say anything he just took you in his arms, for a long time, kissing the top of your head again and again. When he released you just a bit, he tilted his head and kissed you like it has been a long time you havent seen him. But he has been a long time and oh how you craved his soft and rosy lips. The others were doing anything but looking at you, it wasn’t that they were embarrassed it’s just that this was an intimate moment that the two of you hadn’t since a long time and they wanted to respect at least a bit of your privacy. Only Charlie and you were standing in the hall anymore, the others were already on the couch or on the floor, ready for movie night.
« I missed you so much, I am so happy you are here, you can’t even imagine » Charlie said whispering in your ear, sending chills down your spine.
«  I missed you too, that’s why I’m here after all. » you chuckled in the crook of his neck.
He led you to the living room with all the others, never leaving you. He always had a hand on the small of your back, or on your thigh. It has been such a long time since you have seen each other that he didn’t want to miss a single thing about you.
You said hello to everyone, happy those familiar faces again. You were just ready to chill with everyone.
You were about to sit on the couch next Owen and Jeremy, when you felt a pair of hands grabbing your hips and making you sit on Charlie’s lap.
« Where do you think you’re going » you giggled at his act.
They were something about Charlie that always make you giggle or blush and more generally acting like a schoolgirl. You swear sometimes you think his goal is to make you blush so much that you were as red as a tomato. But you loved your goofy, cute man.
« Thank you Y/N for being here ! Really, we can’t hear Charlie complaining about not seeing you or how much he misses you. » Jeremy said and Charlie has a deep shade of red on his cheeks.
You thought he was really cute to go and talk about how much he misses you. You know that he wasn’t just on your part that those months of being apart were hard. The night goes on and the smile you had never left your lips. Charlie had his arms wrapped around your waist the whole time, and he was always making quiet comments about the movie you were watching or just kissing you under the ear and so on. `
Everyone fell asleep in uncomfortable positions and the next morning all of them has knots in their back.
« Ok guys, you need to leave or you’re going to be late on set ! » you exclaimed trying to wake all of those people but no one moved. « C’mon guys, you need to get moving » as you were trying to shake them all up, your arm was pulled by Charlie and you fell on him. He had still his eyes closed even though he was smirking.
« Do you want to come with us on set ? » Charlie asked with a groggy voice.
«  Yes ! »
« You just waited for me to ask you right ? » you blushed at his words. You didn’t want to impose your presence to the staff and all the actors.
The day you decided to join all of your friends on set, they had to film the scene between Charlie and Madi where they sang perfect harmony. You knew that supposedly nothing was going on between them, but it was just the way Luke looked at Julie. You tried to convince yourself that this was nothing, it was just on-screen chemistry nothing more. But they both looked so pretty and handsome and you couldn’t not feel bad about yourself.
At the end of the scene everyone clapped and congratulated the both actors who executed perfectly the routine. Charlie made Madi spin, both giggling. You heart broke a little but you tried to not let it shows. Everyone was so cheerful and happy.
You put on a fake smile and got on with the day. You hung around makeup and costumes and tried to help as much as you could, from setting the buffet for everyone to painting some decors.
————————————
Everyday for a week, you accompanied the band to the studio, but as the days goes by you couldn’t not notice the constant banter between Charlie and Madi. It wasn’t that you were jealous or anything, of course he was « allowed » to speak to other girls. It’s just that they seemed to understand each other on a deeper level. On a music level that you could never understand. You could sing under the shower but you didn’t knew how to play any instruments or writing any lyrics.
« Don’t you think that this song is such a killer song ?! » asked Owen, excited, almost crushing you on the couch where you rested.
« Hum ? Which one ? Even though they’re all amazing! »
«  Well the one Charlie and Madi wrote together » you looked at him in disbelief. « Yeah, perfect harmony ! »
A whirlwind of thoughts came into your mind and made your insecurities come back at full speed.
« Oh… no I did not know that. » you said quietly, like if you spoke too loud you would break down in tears. And Owen saw right through you.
« Are you okay ? You know that it is just a song ? »
« Yeah, yes I know, it’s just since this morning I’m not feeling good. I think I’m going to head back to the house. If Charlie asks … » you topped mid-sentence, was he really going to ask ?
You couldn't answered that question being a hundred percent sure.
You took your stuff and left the studio.
Charlie just ended another scene and went to look for you. « hey Owen ? Have you seen Y/N ? » he asked a bit worried and with a small frown on his forehead.
« She went back, said she didn’t felt well »
Well that’s weird, thought Charlie. She would've told him if she wasn’t feeling well. He shook his head and focus on the next scene he had to play before heading back home.
You were laying on your guys bed, crying your eyes out not really knowing why they were so much waterfalls.
You heard the front door open and you recognized the voices of the three boys that played the ghosts. You quickly shut your eyes, trying to make Charlie believe you were asleep.
Charlie entered the room and saw the girl he loved with her head buried in a pillow, she seemed asleep. He sighed and closed the door on his way out. He didn’t understand why all of a sudden you were so cold to him. He didn’t remember having done something bad or wrong. He tried to replay in his mind everything that happened that week without founding anything.
« Are you alright ? » asked Jeremy concerned at the face his friend was making.
« Yeah, it’s just I don’t know why Y/N is giving me the cold shoulder. » he sighed, his head between his hands.
After a few hours of hiding in the room, you decided to fix yourself, make somehow your eyes a little less puffy. You tried to pass by the living room without noise, not ready to confront the boys or anyone for that matter.
You thought you had made it to the kitchen without making your presence known. But as you closed the fridge’s door and turned towards the table you were faced with Charlie’s hazel eyes.
« How are you ? » he asked softly, you felt your throat tightened. « Fine » you croaked.
He knew they were something wrong.
«  You know you can talk to me, I’m here babe » Charlie mumbled. You tried avoiding his gaze. He stepped softly towards you, almost chest to chest.
« I don’t want to talk about it » you muttered. « well I think we have to. You have that sad look in your eyes and it saddens me ! »
« I don’t want to do this now, the boys are just in the living room ! »
« But I want to help you, let me help you! » his voice was raising higher and higher.
« Ne fais pas ça maintenant s’il te plait » (don’t do this now) you exclaimed in French so that the boys wouldn’t understand what was happening, even if the knew that you were fighting, no need to be a genius to realize that.
« Oh so now we are talking French ?! Why ?! You don’t want our friends to know that we are not this perfect little couple they think we are ! » Charlie snapped.
« Ne m’humilie pas de la sorte ! Je pense que tu l’as déjà assez fait cette semaine! » (don’t humiliate me like that, you already did it enough all week) you seeped. Your head was beginning to spin from all the crying and the shouting didn’t help.
« Mais qu’est ce que tu racontes bon sang! » (what are you talking about for god’s sakes) Charlie spat, his Canadian accent resurrecting strongly.
« Okay, you want to know what I’m talking about ? I’m talking about you and Madison, I know that I should not be jealous but you are so close to her via music and filming and so close to her as well as in not far away. How do you expect for me to not see that. To not see the chemistry you two has on screen ?! » You were between yelling and sobbing uncontrollably. Charlie stayed silent for a moment not knowing what to answer to this.
« You know, and I’ve told you countless of times that we are nothing more than friends ! She is young » Charlie exclaimed
« Oh because if she was older, you would definitely take her on a date ?! » you exclaimed, hurt by his words. The both of you stayed silent for a bit of time. A heavy silence.
« Of course not, you’re the one I like. The only one I love. Yes, we are not together 24/7, but I love you Y/N. No one else but you, why can’t you see that ? » Charlie insisted, his hair tugging at his now shorter hair.
« I think I should go back for a bit. I’ll see you later » you said in a breath.
« Dont do this to me, don't do this to me Y/N! I’m begging you » he pleaded.
You knew you had to get away for a bit of time, you didn’t knew if your relationship could hold after this full blown out but you’ll live. At least you hoped. You ran straight into Charlie’s room and packed your bags not meeting the boys gazed. They heard everything, and it pained you to have them involved in such a fight.
As soon as you slammed the door of the bedroom, the boys ran straight into the kitchen, they found Charlie on the barstool looking down at his hands, a single tear running down his cheek.
They didn’t knew what to say, are you okay seemed a bit insensitive after what they all heard. They took a sit next to him and pat his back. Sometimes a small gesture is worth a million words. Charlie knew that he will always has his friends, they were like family, but so was Y/N. But apparently not anymore.

Alone For 2,220 Days.
Requested By Anon - Clarke never finds Madi and now it’s six years later and we see how Clarke has coped (maybe she’s gone a tiny bit insane in a way) and now the others have returned and found her.
In all fairness going insane after six years completely insane was understandable, Clarke had no one, not a single other human being to keep her company, to keep her from losing it. It started after a year, she’d keep herself occupied by talking to herself, just little mumbles every now and then pretending it was someone else and not her. Clarke had been counting the days her friends were gone, she was waiting for them to return and being alone on a dead planet could cause you to lose it a little. At some point she’d befriended a deer that had visited her almost everyday for food, so she started talking to that instead of to herself which helped. She missed humanity, the lack of human contact made her feel lonely and isolated, it felt that maybe she’d be this way forever and that didn’t help her thoughts, especially when Bellamy and the others didn’t come back when they were supposed to. Clarke was terrified and alone. She just wanted someone...anyone. Hell she’d even like Echo’s company right now.
She’d given each day to removing the bits of rubble that she could from the tower, she knew it was useless, soon she’d have gotten rid of the easier rubble and she’d be left with the large pieces that she’d never be able to lift, not by herself. Clarke might’ve been a little crazy but she wasn’t stupid, she’d never get her friends and family out of the bunker on her own. You’d think at nights she’d cry herself to sleep, but her tears didn’t run anymore, not after a couple of years alone, she found that her sadness rarely ever ended in tears now. It usually became anger and she’d take it out on anything around her. She couldn’t count the amount of times she’d kicked the poor rover.
It had been six years and twenty nine days since she’d last seen her friends, she’d suffered through sicknesses, she had to heal herself through the radiation that had came from Priamfaya, she ate animals that were affected by the radiation, drank water from the contaminated waters. Sure it was disgusting and even with the nightblood she’d occasionally throw up, catch an illness and have to find some surviving healing plant and hope for the best that she didn’t die. It was rough, she’d often wonder if she should venture somewhere else, find some other place to live but she couldn’t, not with her family trapped so close by. She just had to wait, however long it took, she’d wait.
Some days were better than others, she’d sleep through the day, wake hunt, eat, drink and talk through the radio. Those were the simpler days, ones where she didn’t have to struggle to survive; animals attacked on a daily basis. They were hungry too and Clarke was the final human on the surface, she knew they pictured her as a large slab of meat just ready to be torn open. That’s when she was thankful she still had a ton of rifles she’d found in the rover, it was no longer her vs people, now it was her vs animal. She’d once classed herself as an animal person, she’d love any creature she laid eyes on but now she dreaded the moment she heard a simple snap of a twig.
Bellamy winced at the rough landing, he was pretty sure he’d sprained his wrist they crash landed pretty roughly into the ground, Raven had missed the water by miles, which he couldn’t help but feel slightly happy about it. He’d never been a fan of the water and the thought of landing straight into it in a heavy machine was daunting. His vision cleared, the blur vanishing and the ringing stopped, he was in the same seat hed been in when they went up to space, his chest clenching as he remembered the pain of leaving Clarke behind.
“Raven? Monty?” Bellamy called out, his voice hoarse. It hurt to turn his head but he had to make sure his friends were alright, Raven sat unconscious to his left, Monty behind him beside Harper, his breathing heavy.
“We’re alright...Murphy and the other two as well...how is Raven?” Monty replied, Bellamy was relieved, he recalled their first trip down to earth, they’d lost two people just hitting the ground. Bellamy unclicked his belt, groaning at the quick movement, the rocket had been tilted to a side.
“You’d best get the door open,” Bellamy ordered him, moving slowly and carefully to Raven, she’d been upfront so she’d taken the most impact, she’d feel it when she woke up. “I’ve got Raven.”
“Is she alright?” Murphy questioned, he seemed completely fine, not even a cut from the crash but he was looking over Raven’s seat as Bellamy crouched down to check her pulse. Glancing up at Murphy and giving him a curt nod the boy sighing in relief. “Good...do you need help?”
Bellamy shook his head, Monty had managed to pry open the door and sunlight streamed through the small gap, hitting their skin and it felt like home again but Bellamy focused on Raven, Murphy turned to follow Echo out but Bellamy called him to a stop.
“Actually I’m going to need to hold her shoulders, once I unlock this belt she’s going to fall forward fast, you need to slow her down so I can catch her,” Murphy nodded, glad to help the unconscious brunette. He held to Raven as Bellamy unclicked her, he’d been right, Raven’s body flew forward but Murphy held a tight lock, screwing his eyes shut as he did his best to keep her in her seat as Bellamy removed the belt from her arms. “Ok, release her.”
Murphy did as he was told and Raven felt forward into Bellamy, thankfully he caught her and both him and Murphy let out a breath and with Murphy’s help they managed to get out of the rocket before it tilted even more and crashed into the floor once again. Bellamy led Raven on the grass, Echo rushing to Raven’s side the moment he’d led her on the floor.
“When do you think she’ll wake up?” Bellamy always felt weird when they asked him something that they’d ask a doctor...that they would’ve asked Clarke.
“She’ll wake up in a minute, she just needs fresh air.” Bellamy told them letting out a breath, finally taking a look around their surroundings, his heart catching in his throat at the sight. Everything looked awful except the green land they were stood on, grounds had been burned, trees scorched to the crisp and daylight having no effect on the darkened ground before them. “L-let’s just find some water, she’ll need some when she wakes up. Monty you come with me.”
“And what if the waters still contaminated?”
Bellamy knew it was a risk, “Then we’ll have to find some way to make it fresh, we need water to survive and it’s been six years, it should be drinkable.”
Being on the ground reminded him so much of Clarke, his heart crying in pain at the thought of the girl he had loved so much. His family. But he suppressed it and carried on walking beside Monty, the boy beside him anxious of how Bellamy was taking it. It had taken Bellamy years of grieving to finally come to peace with Clarke’s death, to finally believe that it wasn’t his fault but Monty still heard him cry at night when he’d passed his bedroom. He knew his best friend was still mourning Clarke and he knew being back here where he’d left her to die, must be eating him alive.
“Where do you think Polis is from here?” Monty’s question made his heart pick up, his sister, he hadn’t forgotten about her over the years, he thought of her often wondering how she was doing leading her people. Hoping she was well, imagining the moment they saw each other again. He thought of Abby too, how he’d have to explain what happened, how he’d have to see her face crumble, to prepare for the slap that he’d get across his face because she’d trusted him to keep her daughter alive. And yet he’d done the complete opposite.
“Far, we’ll worry about that in the morning. We’ll focus on getting Raven up and about first then we’ll search for Polis, though if it’s like the rest of the world, I wouldn’t get your hopes up.” Bellamy told him, watching as his feet moved through the luscious green of the grass, he’d missed earth. The bright colours and day light, the fresh air and tall trees, the sounds of animals. He’d longed to come back.
“Clarke would be proud of you, Bellamy.”
Monty’s words were like a dagger to the heart, his eyes prickling with tears because he knew it was true, he’d served their people well, he’d used his head, he’d got them to earth all of them alive and that’s all Clarke would have wanted. Bellamy turned his head away from Monty, sniffing to keep his nose from running, he swiped away a tear with his sleeve. The truth was Bellamy had never missed anyone the way he missed Clarke, he missed her more than his own mother and even though he’d never admit it, he missed her more than he had missed his sister. To him Clarke had been everything, she’d meant so much and he’d have given his own life to keep her alive if it hadn’t of been for their friends. Bellamy would have left that lab to get her, he wouldn’t care if he died so long as he was with her. But he’d done what she’d have wanted him to do and used his head rather than his heart.
The pair froze as they heard a mutter of a voice, it wasn’t one of their friends, it couldn’t be. They were back on the field unless they’d followed them but there was no way they’d have got past them without them noticing them. No this was something else.
“What th--”
“Sh.” Bellamy hissed, shooting Monty a look as they moved slowly towards the voice, avoiding anything that would startle whoever it was; they didn’t need to be killed when they’d just returned home.
The pair crept up following the voice, what they found almost stopped the both of their hearts, their was the rover perched on a hill. Bellamy would know the vehicle even after all this time, but what made his heart race faster was the fact that it was in perfect shape, it had been used recently. Monty looked just as stunned as he was, moving in stealth closer to the vehicle. Bellamy had moved quicker now, he wasn’t hallucinating, Monty might not have figured out whose voice that was yet but Bellamy had and he wasn’t going to stop now. He had to see for himself. He emerged from behind the rover and there she was.
Her short blonde hair above her shoulders, a red dye in part of it, her scavenged clothes on her back and from what Bellamy could see a radio held to her mouth as she spoke into it. Bellamy was shocked, he couldn’t order his emotions, he couldn’t stop the tears that had managed to roll down his cheeks, he could see Monty from the corner of his eye, stood looking at Clarke’s back too.
“C-Clarke?” Monty said and like lightning the blonde was up and a gun had been pulled from her side, a gunshot ringing through the air. Monty had ducked just in time the bullet missing him by an inch. Clarke stood like a deer in headlights, eyes darting between Monty and Bellamy, the gun falling from her hand as she realised she’d almost killed Monty.
“Monty? B-Bellamy?” Clarke muttered in disbelief, hands shaking, she knew she was going crazy but her mind was playing a cruel game on her. She couldn’t tell if this was real or her imagination. Bellamy had his hands up and Monty had stumbled to his feet, they knew the others would’ve heard the gunshot.
“We’re back, Clarke...we--we made it. You’re alive.” Bellamy was still in shock his mind running, wanting to move but not wanting to scare Clarke any further, he gathered it was hard for her to believe when she’d been alone all this time. “You’re alive.” He repeated in happiness, his voice higher this time and a happy cry left his mouth.
Clarke watched his with watery eyes, it was the first time she’d felt tears in a year and a half, he was home. In seconds Clarke had tossed the radio aside, she didn’t need it anymore and she’d launched herself towards Bellamy. His arms were open and ready for the impact, he didn’t care about any part of his body that was injured from the crash right now, all he could focus on was the girl who had collided with him, his arms locking around her like a puzzle piece. Clarke cried into his shoulder, he’d lifted her off of the ground and she’d pulled away slightly, hands holding herself up on his shoulders and she kissed every inch of his face that she could get contact to until eventually after happy laughs their lips met, melting into a kiss that had been long awaited, Bellamy keeping her flush to his body never wanting to let her go Clarke’s tears ended up getting mixed with Bellamy’s dampening both of their faces but right now they didn’t care. They were alive, they were together, that was all they’d ever wanted.
Not even the crunch of leaves and footsteps pulled them away from their kiss, Monty had been stood with a smile while the others rushed to his side out of breath having heard the gunshot. But they followed his gaze to the pair and a smile formed on each of their faces, Clarke was ok. Raven was being carried by Murphy but she’d woken after all the noise, turning her head in his arms and wondering if this was a dream. Clarke was kissing Bellamy. It could only meant that they’d made it, she’d brought Bellamy back to Clarke, she’d done good.

First Encounters.
This wasn’t requested by anyone but I saw a prompt on tumblr and I thought it would be cute to write about. So whoever posted the prompt thank you for the idea! @tvshows-obsessed all done!
Madi had been out adventuring as Clarke liked to call it, she’d left Clarke to fetch the fresh water. Madi knew Clarke didn’t mind collecting the water alone because she’d take a moment to radio her friends on the Ark. Madi knew almost everything about them now, Clarke would tell her stories every night before bed and sometimes Madi envied Clarke, she wanted to have as many adventures as her mother-figure, Clarke had been teaching her all she knew but she was eager to explore the scorched Earth. It was something she was unable to do when her parents were alive, her father would forbid her to leave her village, it was too dangerous they would say. Granted they were right, she was a night-blood and if someone had found out they would’ve dragged her to Polis.
Madi clambered up a tree to get a good view of the dead trees, the entire land except where Clarke and her had taken care of the land, was dark. It reminded her of her nightmares, a place where only demons lie but yet it intrigued her. Clarke had told her when she turned fifteen she’d take her to explore the world. So far they only been to Polis, most of the rivers and lakes near by, they’d searched for supplies that survived Priamfaya, the rover being amongst the things they found. Clarke had taught her to drive, although Clarke wasn’t exactly an expert herself. She said it was just a precaution just in case something happened to Clarke, Madi couldn’t imagine life without Clarke anymore. She’d found her and taken care of her as her own when she was fragile and still slightly sick from the radiation. Clarke had still been covered in boils herself, but she pushed herself to take care of the pair of them. Madi had found Clarke crying most nights, she didn’t open up for weeks but when she did Madi crept into Clarke’s bed to sleep beside her. It only helped her nightmares slightly but she didn’t mind them so much now.
A snap of a twig caught Madi’s attention, she almost slipped out of the tree when she saw a large metal object landing in the rotten trees, crushing them and landing softly on the ground. She’d never seen anything like it. She remembered Clarke had told her that her friends had gone up in a rocket–a metal object much like this one–but she wasn’t sure if this was what a rocket looked like.
She was quick to climb down from the tree–climbing was her strong suit. And she landed with a thud on the floor, leaves crunching beneath her feet. She hesitated on whether to go rush to get Clarke but it was far and she was worried these people would leave if she left. Madi warily took a step forward, the ship was just ahead, behind a bunch of bushes. She heard a clank and a bunch of voices they sounded slightly echoed, like something was covering their mouths like a mask.
When she stopped behind the bushes her eyes were fixed on the suited humans, there were three women and by the looks of it three men. Madi flickered back in her memories, Clarke always named six people other than her mum but she had told her her mother was in the bunker. Madi stepped out of the bushes, she had to take a risk. This was for Clarke. She’d want to know if her friends were finally home. The sound of her muffled movements made the seven spin to face the little girl fast, almost startling her but she stood her ground, hands raised when one of the boys, one quite small pointed a gun at her. She and Clarke had ones familiar to it and she knew the harm it could do. But she remained still. One of the men in the suits stepped forward, pushing the other mans gun down.
“Monty, she’s just a kid.” The deep voice scolded, Madi liked whoever it was already. But when she heard the voice she smiled, she’d found them. Clarke would be over the moon. The tallest man looked towards her, eyes meeting her, eyebrows furrowed in confusion. “How are you here? Are you from the bunker?”
Madi lowered her hands and shook her head. “I’m a night-blood. The bunkers been unreachable since Praimfaya,” Her words made most of their eyes widen, confused on how she knew about the contact with the bunker. “The air is safe, it’s been safe for a year now. Clarke’s been waiting.”
The name made the tall male perk up against, one of the woman too. The girl pulled off her helmet and stepped closer to Madi, Madi didn’t step back, from Clarke’s story these were good people.
“Clarke’s here? She’s alive?” The brunette spoke, her face filled with disbelief. The tall one had now gone silent, the others seemed to be intrigued now, all listening to her. Madi nodded.
“You’re Raven, right? Clarke’s best friend?” Madi questioned, she was trying to decipher who was who but it was hard with the glare of the mask. But seem as Raven had removed hers she could tell by the characteristics. Raven glanced down at the floor then back up at Madi, her defense shield going up as she moved angrily closer to Madi. This time Madi backed up, she knew an angry face when she saw one.
“Raven, hey! Stop!” Another voice broke out, lurching forward to grab Raven’s arm keeping the brunette away from Madi. One by one they took of their masks, within seconds Madi identified them. Bellamy had been the tallest one, the one with the tattoo over her face was Emori, Murphy had been the one holding Raven back and Monty was the small male who’d been stood closely beside a girl of medium height which she guessed could only be Harper and the final female could only be Echo.
“Where is she? Clarke?” Bellamy asked, he didn’t meet the child’s eyes but his voice was telling her he was eager to see her, to see for himself that the blonde was alive. Madi had heard about him most and she remembered Clarke’s drawings, she drew him perfectly, getting the freckles too. Madi glanced at Raven anxiously but she stood straight and smiled.
“She went out to collect water, but she’d probably be back home soon. She’s been talking to you everyday, waiting ever since she found me six years ago.” Madi gestured for Bellamy to follow her and he stepped forward but Echo spoke up her voice wary and sharp.
“What if she’s lying? This could be a trap, Bellamy and your just about to walk into it.”
“Are you lying?” Bellamy asked Madi, Madi shook her head. Bellamy nodded, giving her a gentle smile and placing a hand on Madi’s shoulder. “Then let’s go.”
The others were hesitant but they trusted Bellamy’s judgement and followed.
They reached the cave and everyone but Madi seemed exhausted, she figured they weren’t used to climbing and walking so much seem as they’d been up in space for six years. The cave was seemingly empty but the others didn’t seem to panic, they just nonchalantly sat down against the wall to take a breather. Except Bellamy, Madi could feel his anxiety radiating off of him and she gave him a reassuring smile when he glanced over at her.
“She’ll be home soon, I promise.”
Bellamy simply nodded, still holding doubt. “How did you two meet?”
Madi smiled at the question. “Praimfaya had swept over my village, it killed everyone. Except me, I guess. Clarke had came to me village looking for things that had survived and she found me instead. She’s been like my mum ever since.” Bellamy was looking at her now, a genuine smile plastered on his face.
“I didn’t know the princess had it in her,” Bellamy smiled softly, “And there are no other night-bloods?”
“No, just me and Clarke.” She answered, twiddling her hair with her fingers, eyes dropping to her lap. She almost forgot the others were there but a voice spoke up and she looked at the others.
“How old are you?” It sounded like the question had come from Harper.
“Eleven.” Madi smiled, she found it weird thinking she was only five when Clarke discovered her, she remembered being frightened, terrified and knees to chest in the corner of her fathers shop, her mother inches from her boils and blood covering her body. She blocked out the memory when she heard Clarke’s humming and she was on her feet and darted to the entrance of the cave to greet the blonde. Clarke stopped humming and smiled at Madi. She loved it when the young girl ran to greet her.
“Hello my little night-blood,” Clarke beamed, “I thought you’d still be out exploring.”
“I found something, you’ll love it.” Madi told her, wanting to surprise her. Madi quickly took the water out of Clarke’s hands using both hands seem as it was really heavy and place it to the side and snatching Clarke’s hand pulling her excitedly.
“You didn’t bring home another two-headed bunny, did you?” Clarke muttered, but when she was pulled into the flame lit cave and her eyes landed on the seven people all stood, eyes on her. She froze, Madi squeezed Clarke’s hand with a squeal.
“I found them, Clarke!” She exclaimed happily, she couldn’t tell if Clarke was going to tell her something because her mouth had fallen open, eyes scanning the room over and over again as though it was a dream. But her eyes were looking for a particular person.
“You’re really here…” A low voice rang out throughout the cave, Raven had snapped out of her shock and she stepped aside, she knew Bellamy had been waiting for this moment for six years. Clarke felt as though her feet were stuck to the floor when she saw him, his shaggy hair only a couple inches longer and  slight stubble growing on his face, but he had the exact same burning brown eyes, ones perfectly matched to hers. She felt herself hold Madi’s hand tighter for support but she was careful not to hurt the child. “I thought I’d never see you again.”
Before she could do anything Bellamy was before her and his arms had wound around her middle like he’d never left, his arms returning the safe, happy feeling to her body. His familiar warmth unfreezing her and she wrapped her free arm around Bellamy’s neck whilst her hand remained in Madi’s hold. Clarke practically melted in Bellamy’s hold, tears brimming in her eyes until she could no longer fight holding them back and her hand slipped out of Madi’s so she could fully wrap her body around Bellamy until there was no space left between them.
“I was wondering if you’d ever come down,” Clarke said but it sounded like a mumble in his shoulder, choking out a laugh. Madi had stepped aside now, letting the two have some space as they reunited. The others had been watching the two, smiling at the pair. But patiently waiting for their chance to greet their old friend. Clarke pulled out of the hug, her hand cradling Bellamy’s jaw, her eyes tracing every inch of his face although she had already memorised it, her thumb brushed his own wet cheek, swiping the tears away and smiling through watery eyes at him, letting her forehead press against his head before bumping noses with him to press her lips against his. Reveling in the feeling. She’d been waiting longer than she could remember to do this, she’d promised herself if she saw him again that she wouldn’t hold back not anymore, not when they always get separated. “I love you so, so much.”
Bellamy had made a promise similar to hers and hearing her words, he planted a quick kiss on her lips once more, a grin smeared across his lips. “I love you just as much, Clarke, I can’t believe you’re alive, you’re actually here.”
“I’m really here.” Clarke let out a laugh, her hands still holding either side of his face. Madi cleared her throat, knowing the others wanted to see her too but Clarke’s eyes snapped away from Bellamy, her hands falling to her sides and cheeks running red when she realised the young girl had seen the kiss. “Sorry, um, I see you’ve already met Madi.”
Clarke ran her hand through Madi’s hair before tugging the girl gently into her side, a smile on her face as she looked down at the small brunette. Bellamy smiled, the child reminded him of Octavia when she was small, Bellamy knelt down to Madi’s height which wasn’t exactly small and held out his hand.
“Time we officially met then,” Bellamy grinned as Clarke beamed at the pair before moving to greet Raven, colliding with the girl in a bundle of laughs, they were happy to be together again, Clarke had missed all of their companies. “Bellamy Blake.”
“Madi or as Clarke likes to call me, Little Nightblood.” Madi grinned straightening her beanie before extending a hand with a friendly smile. “It’s good to finally meet you after all this time.”
“It’s good to meet you too, Madi.” Bellamy said with a light chuckle. He liked her already.
