OK WAIT VAMPIRE AU AND IM LIVING FOR IT i have a shit ton of headcanons so,,,

here’s a quick summary

Humans hunt vampires and they’re often outcased/killed, although there’s been more recently since they’re learning from a young age to disguise themselves and can now hide their teeth.

also there's a couple types of vampires: some who melt in sun but have wings and can eat normal diets and those who don’t melt in sun, don’t have wings and need a little bit of blood in their diets (but it can be from like,, animals. It doesn’t have to be humans)

the vampires who melt in the sun (ILL CALL EM MELTY BOYS) are super rare so unless stated otherwise, whenever i say “X is a vampire” i'm referring to the not melty ones with no wings

setting/time/almost everything is the same. They are just. Vampires. (THEY LOOK DIFFERENTS TOO SFBDJHG)

also ships include: adrinette/ladynoir, djwifi, julerose, kimax, myvan, nathaniel/marc (I FORGOT THEIR SHIP NAME) and chlolix (chloe/alix)

- marinette feels rlly bad about being a vampire (ALSO she a melty one)

- can go in the sun for about a minutes before it begins to really hurt so being ladybug isn’t awful cause she can hide in the shade most of the time

- ALWAYS HAS A SUN CAP ON (when she’s marinette) she just wants to be in the sun bro

- some guys start a theory that ladybug’s a vampire and she’s SCREAMING LIKE BRO HOW DO THEY KNOW but it was a joke

- alya is like,, super weird about vampires cause she was taught her whole life to hate vampires by nora because she thinks they’re super dangerous

- at first alya’s like “yeah suck it vampires” and then she learns she’s actually half vampire and she’s kinda like

- “fuck”

- almost rejects the miraculous lb gave her cause she was like “no im kinda vampire”

- but lb just goes “yeah me too so what”

- ALYA FREAKS SHE’S LIKE FUCK YEAH VAMP GANG

- nino’s super chill with her being a vampire!! he finds it rlly cool lol

i feel like i could go into more detail about their relationship but That’s Another Story For Another Day

- adrien kinda hates being a vampire (esp a melty one) and hides it from everyone but plagg

- his dad would kill him for being a vampire because then his son wouldn’t be perfect and that’s not good enough

- felix figures out he’s a vampire but doesn’t tell anyone

- felix isn’t a fan of vampires but respects his cousin and keeps his secret

- hiding his wings is so annoying like??? He wraps them around his body and wears a cap all the time is the WORST

- also same thing as lb he can go in the sun for about a minute as chat noir before he begins to melt

- again i can go into more detail about chat noir/ladybug and marinette/adrien but im trying to keep this kinda short

- CHLOE OH GOD chloe is so scared

- don’t get me wrong she still is mean and petty but she’s really scared someone will find out shes a vampire

- and someone does

- BUT ITS ALIX AND SHES ALSO A VAMPIRE LMAO

- alix is super chill with chloe and is like “hey man i know ur a vampire but i am too”

- after this they both end up getting feeling for each other lol

- THEY BE DATING but that’s a secret

- chloe’s mom knows she’s a vampire because she saw her fangs when she was born which is part of the reason she doesn’t like chloe

- in this au audrey never warms up to chloe instead chloe learns to not give a shit about what her mom thinks (with the help of marinette and ladybug) and tells her off before her mom leaves for new york

- her mom still keeps the fact that chloe’s a vampire a secret from everyone tho

- cause outing someone as a vampire is actually so low that even thought like yeah,, not everyone likes vampires but like no one’s gonna like u either bc you outed them on something so personal and something they trusted you with

- sabrina doesn’t care if chloe’s a vampire she still really cares about her

- but sabrina wouldn’t like it if anyone else was a vampire

- also another thing about chloe she tends to act like she hates vampires to avoid detecting from the Vamp Police

- ig the vamp police is like sabrina’s dad who really hates vampires and actively looks for them (which is part of the reason sabrina isn’t a big fan of vampires either.)

- they’re not called the vamp police it’s just the police but i like saying that

- like i said before alix is Vampire and basically learns who’s a vampire in the class super quickly

- she knows what to look for when someone’s hiding their identity and knows she’s not the only vampire in the class

- she also figures out everyone’s super hero identities (which is why she gets the rabbit miraculous)

- max knows from stats that it’s likely that there's a couple people in the class who are vampires

- KIM DIDN’T ACTUALLY KNOW WHAT A VAMPIRE WAS BECAUSE HIS FAMILY THOUGHT IT WOULD SCARE HIM SO THEY NEVER TOLD HIM LMAO

- max had to teach him (with the help of alix) what a vampire was but it took like an hour

- the only reason kim actually learned something is because his boyfriend told him that if he paid super close attention (after running through the whole presentation like 3 times) he would give him a smooch

- after that kim grew a big brain and learned everything

- both of their parents and ondine would be super accepting if they were vampires tho

- but they’re both human

- also a little more lore its not biological if you’re a vampire or not it’s purely chance

- Its kinda like being born lgbt ig

- ALSO EVERYONE IS SOME FORM OF LGBT but i have my own hc for that

- lgbt vampires are incredibly oppressed like they can’t go out into the street *pensive*

- ANYWAYS juleka is a melty vampire and rose is a human

- rose’s family is super into hunting vampires

- rose invited her gf over for a family dinner and the whole time they talked about killing vampires

- juleka doesn’t hate being a vampire and thinks it’s really cool

- SO SHE DRESSES LIKE A VAMPIRE???

- rose had marinette design juleka a sun hat similar to hers because juleka kept forgetting she melts in the sun and went out in it more times then she should’ve

- juleka’s a little bit more outgoing in this au and drops hints that she’s a vampire because she thinks it’s Epic

- rose has to remind her that not everyone thinks it’s epic

- nathaniel is really passionate about vampires and wants to learn more about them

- HE POPPED OFF HARD WHEN HE LEARNED HIS BOYFRIEND’S A VAMPIRE

- nathaniel is so supportive of marc it’s rlly cute

- he has to stop himself from mentioning his bf’s a vampire bc he remembers not everyone thinks it’s as cool as he does

- marc loves that nathaniel is so supportive

- when he first saw nathaniel drawing the class of vampires he just went “fuck he’s the one”

- 100% nathaniel draws marc looking super vampire during class

- i’m just now thinking of akuma’s but like here’s kinda how it would work

- They’re basically the same as they were before (being all evil and shit,, basically the same powers) but i think there would be some story changes??

- lady wifi would be less concerned with lb’s identity and more with if she’s a vampire or not because the cause of her akuma would be her theorizing if lb’s a vamp or not

- causing chloe to make fun of her and say stuff like “cool people can’t be vampires they’re stupid and serve no purpose in life”

- lady wifi doesn’t manage to rip of either lb’s mask for her fake teeth because the costume change also adds fake human teeth to replace the real ones (and you can’t take them off like the mask)

- but lady wifi doesn’t know this so she assumes lb’s not a vampire which she’s disappointed with but alya doesn’t remember this

- BUT the media and chat noir think that she’s not a vampire

- reflekta’s design is a little different but that’s about it

- The change with lady wifi is the only akuma i can think about rn but if i do more headcanons about this i might go more into detail on stuff like that

- CHAT BLANC IS ALSO DIFFERENT

- the build up to the akumatisation is basically the same but adrien realises that lb is marinette and also a melty vampire cause he she’s her melt a little when she leaves the room

- after marinette breaks up with adrien he runs in and transforms

- after the reveal of adrien’s mom and stuff adrien reveals his wings and tries to kill is dad

- gabriel is disgusted by his son and tells him how disappointed his mother would be

- then chat gets akumatized and stuff

- instead of hitting the moon he’d hit the sun so that he didn’t need to struggle with being a vampire anymore

- he sucks the life out of hawkmoth and claims that he and lb can be together now that there’s no daylight but she says she can live like this which is when he kills her and goes on a murder spree

- then he just sits atop the eiffel tower in complete darkness until past lb shows up with bunnyx and she fixes everything

- his motives are more about disappointing his mother this time and being ashamed about being a vampire

- and also that his wish would be to make it so nobody is a vampire so people wouldn't have to feel ashamed about their identity and hide it all the time

- lb teaches him to love himself and his identity as a vampire and how proud his mother would’ve been of him

- ok enough about chat blanc

- lila is a human and she acts like she loves vampires

- but she actually hates them

- she’s super touchy with adrien and he’s even more uncomfortable now cause he knows she’s lying and would hate him when she found his wings

- all the vampires have seen this act before and tell their s/o’s so basically everyone’s against lila except for like maybe sabrina

- no one thinks she’s cool because i hate her

- she still lies about going on rides with prince ali and other stuff

- WOULD TOTALLY OUT SOMEONE AS A VAMPIRE

- absolute jerk

- her family is known for hunting vampires but she claims she’s different

- ok but ivan is just a sweet vampire trying to keep his identity a secret and mylene is just his support human gf who loves him just the way he is

- ivan doesn’t hate being a vampire but also doesn’t like it cause he’s worried that everyone will say stuff like “i bet you’re a vampire” “you’re a villain and you’re cruel, just like vampires” and other stupid stuff

- he is just a soft man

- MYLENE DEFENDS HIM WITH HER LIFE

- mylene thinks him being a vampire is super cool!!

- they kiss a lot and ivan is worried he’ll bite her but she’s ok with it

- sometimes ivan wishes he was a melty vampire so he could wrap his wings around mylene to cuddle her and stuff

- they are v cute valid couple

- gabriel knows nathalie is a vampire and she knows he knows but neither of them make comments on it

- nathalie does really like vampires and doesnt mind being one herself

- she knows adrien’s a vampire and helps him hide it

- his father likes to know everything about adrien so he tried leaving cups with blood in them in his room to see if he would drink them

- and if he did cause he didn’t know his father was testing him nathalie would just refill them

- she starts keeping blood around the house and gabriel assumes it’s just for her cause he isn’t educated and doesn’t know the difference between rare vamps and the common vamps

- but it’s for adrien

- ALSO LIKE LAST ONE BUT one time lb and chat went out at night to hunt for blood cause they were thirsty but they ran into each other and it was rlly awkward

- but they’re both rlly oblivious and convince each other that they were out for a nightly stroll cause they couldnt sleep

ROAD TO THE OSCAR MAYER WEINER AWARDS 2K19

thats right u precious little gifts from heaven it is finally time to look at the previous year’s movies, trudge through the piles of shit, and pick out the very best shiniest golden nuggets cause ITS WIENER SEASON BABBIIIEEEE

............... ok so i gotta level with y’all for a second this enthusiasm is very very forced this year. i was taking a look at the list of nominees the other day and was like, almost shocked??? does it seem shorter than usual this year to y’all or is it just me???? where are all the cool movies???????? how in gods name did that movie where christian bale wears a dick cheney suit for two hours get nominated for so much shit???????????????

this list is extremely underwhelming, especially considering some great movies came out this year. i know that horror movies being nominated for oscars is a long shot but like goddamn y’all are really gonna snub my girl toni collette??? did u not SEE her performance in hereditary??????? the suspiria remake was fucking phenomenal too and i thought for sure dakota johnson might get something especially since she more than redeemed herself after the 50 Shades shitshow but nope nothing for her either! i guess cause get out got noms last year the academy has deemed it inappropriate to nominate more than one Spooky Scary movie in a decade

so out of the eight best picture noms ive only seen 2 of them, A Star is Born and Black Panther, so i dont really know how much i can say about this list right now until i start watching and reviewing them individually. so i guess ill just touch on the two ive seen by saying that i dont really think either of them is deserving of a best picture nom (which is probably a controversial statement but WHOOPS). theyre both good movies for sure (and ill go more in depth on my Feelings on both of them in their reviews), but theyre both very commercial, very run-of-the-mill films that cater to a mass audience but dont really do much else. and thats not to say that films with mass appeal cant be good enough to get nominated for oscars, i just dont think that these two movies Did That.

in fact now that i mention it there are quite a few commercially successful films on the noms list this year that didnt really stand out to me enough to warrant them getting noms at all. Avengers: Infinity War entertained the shit outta me and its gotta be the best modern superhero movie ive seen in the past few years but its by no means groundbreaking. who the fuck knows why Christopher Robin got nominated at all cause the visual effects are nothing to write home about, and like is it just protocol now to throw oscars noms at Star Wars movies???? i heard solo: a star wars story was boring and lifeless but yeah sure just throw em a visual effects nom just for the hell of it

im betting money that Supreme Overlord Disney has a lot to do with this, cause their scope over the film and television industry has skyrocketed over the past few years. theyre buying companies left and right so at this point its actually not much of a surprise to me that quite a few of their films have made it onto the oscars noms list. which is uuuhhhhh a little terrifying when u think about it for too long but EEHHH FUCK IT DISNEY WORLD AND MICKEY MOUSE AMIRITE FELLOW LADS

i will say that i am very excited to check out a decent amount of the movies on the list. barry jenkins came out with If Beale Street Could Talk right on time for awards season and ive heard nothing but great things so im really pumped and Ready To Cry. and The Favorite, by the same director who did The Lobster and The Killing of a Sacred Deer, has been on my to-watch list since it was released in theaters. yorgos lanthimos has such an interesting and unique vision with his films, and it will be really cool to see his style applied to something like a classic period piece. its also really awesome to see a foreign language film also be nominated for best picture, so ill have to try and check out Roma which so far has had stellar reviews. First Reformed seems like the kind of steadily-paced drama/thriller that i just cant get enough of so that’s going on my watchlist for sure, and despite my mixed feelings on spike lee BlacKkKlansman was overall positively received so ill give it a watch. the only two animated films i have any interest in seeing are Mirai and Into the Spiderverse (which im honestly hoping wins cause it just looks so goddamn cool), and maaaaaybe ill see Isle of Dogs. maybe. oh and i almost forgot about The Ballad of Buster Scruggs!! its neat seeing a made-for-Netflix movie on the oscars list and ill never say no to a Coen Brothers movie so thats one to watch.

well i think thats about it for now!! normally i have a lot more to say about the oscars before i even start doing the movie reviews but idk man there hasnt been much hype about this years awards ceremony. i dont even wanna get into the whole kevin hart situation cause thats just a complete clusterfuck and a lil cringey (*cough* U DO NOT SPEAK FOR ALL OF THE GAYS ELLEN SIT UR ASS DOWN *cough*) but thats besides the point. i have soooooo much shit to say about black panther and a star is born so get ur reading eyes ready cause those posts are gonna be REAL LONG! and otherwise it should be a good and fun and fresh time!! if there are any movies on the noms list that i didnt mention here that u want me to see lemme know, especially if u have recommendations for the documentary nominations cause i havent heard of any of them except for RGB.

hope y’all are ready for oscars classic uncured wieners cause i know i sure am ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) (please help me)

a lot of my dreams involve driving, now much more heavily than they did before i knew how to, but usually now its not scary, just Part Of The Story. i need to Get Somewhere.

a lot of em have also involved flying in some way lately which i find interesting because im fucking terrified of heights and the idea of falling but last night i was gliding and trying to figure out how to get higher up, and ive flown with wings, with magic, on mounts, and somehow im never actually afraid

theres also a lot of school that i may or may not actually be attending which never fails to fuck me up because the school i dream of is like some weirdass mall with no rhyme or reason to it, then theres always creepy fucked up/surreal/dilapidated buildings that seem like they should be haunted or part of some supernatural horror movie but just make you Think instead (usually itll be where i live in the dream), then theres often sleeping, me having Girlfriends, going to food places, the store, and ofc theres almost always some weirdass animals and/or my cats involved

(oddly enough, any time theres food involved, i never eat. i look at the food if its out but ill never take or order anything...?)

theres also often people i dont know or vaguely know (like old family friend-families) just kinda chilling and/or living with me, and if one of my parents show up theyre usually antagonistic

and of COURSE, most of my dreams end up having Video Game aspects to them. ive made multiple trips to the same dungeon/cave that respawns with “enemies”?, ive flown over maps full of mobs with chunks of sort of different Zones and went to my Quest Destination to find Specific Person for Specific Reason (i dunno about battles tho? i think ive stealthed around a lot of potential fights, guess my subconscious is as bad at writing combat as me awake), ive even done a multi-part escort quest/scenario deal in some egypty desert place where we were in airships and shooting down at huge waves of mobs and then we hit this huge door and had to go by foot through a temple that was cavernous and mazelike and at the end we emerged to a completely different ecosystem and it was wild. lately ive also been to a beach under siege where people are fighting some sorta demons and theres wreckage and airships and the lighting is sometimes pretty red and dark, but the hills and cliffs by the beach include a cave that leads to a spidery tunnel that usually ends up leading to an underground building of some sort

theres been like, theme park rides in a couple (like uh, roller coasters n shit) which are always the same of a small chunk (like theres some water log slide i get a lot) but i almost never actually ride them, just end up walking around on the parts u go up to get to the top

(i have been on a couple water slides in my dreams which are always crazy, long, and sometimes scary, but tbh i love water slides irl, even if i almost drowned at the end of one as a kid because my mom weighed a lot more than me and the double tube flipped and i ended up under water and my dumb ass still doesnt know how to swim to this day.... mom got me tho all good)

sometimes my actual irl friends show up which is always interesting since i know them primarily through the text they send me online, so i feel like even tho i know what they all actually look like they show up in my dreams as a very vague entity that my brain just kinda fills in the context for (”that fuzzy humanish shaped form is karen” “sure, okay, seems legit”) and they never seem to behave “in character”

(probably due to my own insecurities)

then theres always those strange dreams where im in mutual dokis with someone i have 0 feelings for irl where i wake up afterwards and lay there like..... shit.... DO I like that person???? do I NOW?

(no. it’s just a dream, dumbass. i knew damn well who i liked in high school and it wasnt her.)

then theres stuff that shows up a lot in dreams that are usually actually kinda nice, like the long roads surrounded by nothing but empty dirt that lead into craggy mountains that end in this beautiful cliff cave-like thing with open walls so youre shaded but can see by sunlight, with a lake that waterfalled into another clear lake outside, and in the cave is a perfect little sitting balcony where ive often gone by myself but also have brought others to (including dazzle?)

and shit that shows up in a lot of the Bad Dreams, like the one-lane highways that for whatever reason turn into super high, twisty ramps with no fucking sides at all

oh and not to mention any time i feel really insecure in a dream im usually dating or trying to get back with my ex i was with for 6 years because all the time ive spent single since makes me wonder if i made the right choice because maybe hes the only person who’ll ever actually love me lmfao so hes always rly nice and supportive of whatever im feeling weird about (my teeth, my body, my unshaved legs, etc), except then sometimes my dreams remind me of the whole pressure/guilt-coerced sex and various other shitty parts of what we had so YEAHHHH

anyways theres a lot more i cant think of rn too but there u go, a buncha dream rambles from me

Chapter 13 (adopted)

-Time skip to early October-

Nicole ran into the apartment “Dad you home!?!” she yelled putting her backpack in her room and taking out a folded piece of paper from her pocket. No answer “Dad!?!” she yelled again. Still no answer “He must be at the theater” she said to herself. Nicole then got a text from one of her guy friends from school, when she started school she joined the drama club and the anime club. This guy was in both of those clubs, his name was James Madison, his parents were huge history nuts so they decided to name him after our 4th president. Nicole then unfolded the paper, reveling a few more pieces of paper all saying the same thing. She then checked her phone “James <3”- “Hey Nicole after you tell you’r dad about tonight you want to go to the cafe to rehearse before everyone else comes?” Nicole texted him back- “Sure, but my dad isn’t home, he’s at the theater so I just have to make a quick run to the theater then ill meet you at the cafe” “James <3”- “Ok see you then :) <3” Nicole smiled and blushed a little, she had a small crush on James. Nicole then grabbed the stuff she needed for tonight and ran out of the apartment to the theater. When she got their she ran inside and made a B line right for Oaks dressing room. She knocked on the door “Dad can I come in?” she asked. “Sure sweetie come on in” he said. Nicole opened the door and went inside. “Hey dad, Im in a bit of a hurry so Ill be quick” she told him. “Why are you in a hurry?” Oak asked her. “I have something to do tonight and I want you and rest of the cast to be their” she told Oak. “What are you doing?” Oak asked her. Nicole said nothing, she handed him the paper and then she left “Bye dad!” she yelled running out the stage door. “Whats this?” Oak asked himself as Daveed and Anthony walked in. “Whats what?” Anthony asked. Oak read the paper Nicole had given to him. “Guys we don’t have another show to do tonight right?” Oak asked them. “No we’re done for today, why?” Daveed asked him. “Ill explain later, just tell everyone to go to this place- showing them the paper- by 6:30pm tonight” Oak tells them. “Ok” they both say running out of the dressing room to tell everyone else.

-Time skip to 6:30pm-

-Nicole’s pov-

“Im so nervous” I told James. “You’re going to be great, and Ill be right next to you the whole time” James said taking my hand. “Thanks James” I told him. I then saw my dad and the rest of the cast walk in. “They’re here” I said smiling. “Nicole, James you two are on first” Our drama teacher tells us. “Ok” we say walking on to the stage behind him. -30 minute time skip :P - “Hello everyone and welcome to Broadway Night (My old high school does this to raise money for the spring musical) (they’re doing The Adams Family this year :D) first up we have Nicole Onaodowan and James Madison singing The first cabinet battle from Hamilton” Mr. Jefferson said as we walked onto the stage. The music started. We had Mr. Jefferson be Washington for us, “Ladies and gentlemen, you coulda been anywhere in the world tonight, but you’re here with us in New York City. Are you ready for a cabinet meeting??? The issue on the table: Secretary Hamilton’s plan to assume state debt and establish a national bank. Secretary Jefferson, you have the floor, sir” he said. I was Thomas and James was Hamilton. I started “‘Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.’ We fought for these ideals; we shouldn’t settle for less These are wise words, enterprising men quote ‘em Don’t act surprised, you guys, cuz I wrote ‘em”

“Oww, But Hamilton forgets His plan would have the government assume state’s debts Now, place your bets as to who that benefits, The very seat of government where Hamilton sits” Nicole rapped. I sat their in aw. “Not true!” James shot back. “Ooh, if the shoe fits, wear it If New York’s in debt— Why should Virginia bear it? Uh! Our debts are paid, I’m afraid Don’t tax the South cuz we got it made in the shade In Virginia, we plant seeds in the ground We create. You just wanna move our money around This financial plan is an outrageous demand And it’s too many damn pages for any man to understand Stand with me in the land of the free And pray to God we never see Hamilton’s candidacy, Look, when Britain taxed our tea, we got frisky Imagine what gon’ happen when you try to tax our whisky” Nicole shot back with a smug grin. -Time skip to the end of Broadway Night-

Nicole and James walked over to us. “So, what did you guy think?” She asked. “That was amazing!” I tell her. “Yeah you were amazing, you did it just like I do it in the show, I now am going to call you mini me” Daveed said laughing a little. “Thanks Daveed” Nicole said. Lin walked over to James. “You must be James” he said to him. “Yes sir” James told him. “Well I have two things I would like to say to you” Lin said. “Yes sir?” James asked. “One….You were amazing and two if you ever do anything to hurt Nicole you’ll have to deal with not just Oak but the rest of the cast as well” Lin told him. “Yes sir, thank you sir and I would never hurt Nicole” James told Lin. “Good, but still if you ever” Lin said. “Yes sir” James said. “And don’t call me sir call me Lin, sir makes me feel like an old me” Lin told him. “Yes si-Lin” James said. James then walked over to me and Nicole “Uh excuse me Mr. Onaodowan” he said miss pronouncing my last name a little bit. “Yes?” I asked him. “I was wondering if I could have your approval to take Nicole out on a date?” he asked me. My eyes widened “This guy wants to take my little girl out on a date?” I asked myself. “Yes you can” I told him. “What? why did I say that!?! I was still thinking!!” I said to myself. “Really? thank you sir” James told me, then turning to Nicole. “Nicole would you like to go to the halloween masquerade with me?” he asked her. Nicole smiled “I would love to go with you” she told him. “Ok Im chaperoning that dance, Im going to make sure she has a good time and that she’s safe” I said to myself. “Hey why don’t you two go as Hamilton and Eliza” Lin said. “That would be so cute!” Renee said. “That sounds perfect” Nicole and James said. “Great and we can probably have wardrobe make them, why don’t you two come by the theater tomorrow after school so we can get started with them” Lin said. “Ok” the two said.

-Time skip to the halloween masquerade-

Nicole and James were dressed in their costumes, Nicole in a beautiful light blue dress and black flats, James in a dark blue coat and a white dress shirt and pants. They both were wearing masks. They entered the gym, with Oak, Lin, Chris, Daveed and Thayne right behind them. “Why are you all chaperoning?” Nicole asked them. “We want to make sure you have a good time and that you are also completely safe while you do” Oak told her. “Ok, but don’t embarrass me please” she told them. “We won’t” they told her. Nicole and James went off to find some of their friends. The 5 men made a plan that each one of them would stand somewhere in the gym so they could see Nicole clearly and keep an eye on her and James. “Thayne stay away from the food table ok?” Oak told him. “I wasn’t even thinking about food, really Nicole is more important then food” he tells Oak. “Im just tell you” Oak told him. The night was going well, Nicole and James danced and had a wonderful time talking with their friends and getting so many compliments on their costumes. Towards the end of the night some guy dressed in Jefferson costume came up to Nicole and James. “May I cut in?” the guy asked. “No you can’t” James told him. Suddenly the guy pushed James to the ground and grabbed Nicole’s arm. James then stood up, he look angry, he then tapped the guys shoulder “Excuse me?” he said to the guy. “What?” the guy spat turning around. James then punched him right in the face, the guy fell to the ground and in doing so he released his grip on Nicole. The guy then stood up and tried to punch James back but was blocked by a teacher who then dragged him away from the two. “Are you ok Nicole?” James asked. “Yeah Im ok, thanks for saving me just now” Nicole told him. “Anything for you my dear Eliza” he said making Nicole smile and blush a little. “Why thank you Alexander” Nicole said to him. After the masquerade James walked Nicole home. “I had a wonderful time with you” Nicole told James. “I did to, maybe we can go out again, maybe to the movies or something?” he asked her. “I would like that very much” she told him. James walked Nicole to her apartment door “Thanks for walking me home James, ill see you Monday at school” Nicole said unlocking the door. “Wait I want to say one more thing before I go” James told her. “What?" Nicole asked him. He then kissed her on the lips. Nicole was surprised by the kiss but happy as well. Then the door opened, the two broke apart “Hi dad” Nicole said her face as red as a tomato. “Mr. Onaodowan” James said his face also red. “Nicole please go inside, I want to have a word with James” Oak said calmly. “Yes dad, bye James” Nicole said running inside to her room. “Now you listen to me and don’t forget anything or think that Im bluffing, Im not mad about the kiss, well a little, but I like you kid, you stood up for Nicole earlier at the dance, yeah I saw that guy push you and I saw you punch him, but Im warring you if you ever do anything to hurt my daughter I swear you’ll have to deal with me, and I know Ive be labeled a giant walking teddy bear but I can still be intimidating” Oak told him. “Yes sir, I would never hurt her, never” James told Oak. “Good, you may go now” Oak told him. James then proceeded to run home. Oak then went to Nicole’s room to check up on her and found her in her pajamas fast asleep in her bed with Cookie also asleep right next to her. He walked over to Nicole bent down kissing her forehead “Good night sweetie” he said then walking out of her room and into his room. Oak then got ready for bed, he then got into his own bed and fell asleep.
