The decision for Jo to be upset with Greta about her knee jerk reaction to cut and run when things get scary or boring and NOT cause of the raid on gay bar is a great and nuanced storytelling choice
#it informs on both character's core personality traits in such a short amount of time#i love that Jo picks herself and the love of baseball#i love that greta seems genuinely taken aback by Jo's decision#and she also feels upset with Jo that she's focused on baseball and not a horridly bad night#greta uses her fear as a security blanket and Jo is done using it for warmth#greta is definitely running from her feelings for shaw#and all the boundaries and walls she let shaw pass thru#Jo doesn't even blame Shaw#she thanks her and says she's a pretty decent coach#but greta is big mad cause her best has been traded to another team#and Jo in her own way is another security blanket for Greta#i dunno#i can't stop thinking about this show#aloto#a league of their own series#a league of their own#melanie field#jo de luca#d'arcy carden#greta gill#wlw#lesbian#LGBTQ#butch lesbian
