Cannot stop thinking about Ruby and how brutally Klaasje fucks her over despite everyone in Martinaise's clear affection for her. How everyone seems to like Ruby and her 'gruff charm,' how she gets passionate about radio technology and loves movies from the 20s, likes 'a beer on the beach to watch the sunset'. She's an 'old lady whisperer,' Isobel likes her and even defends her, the
Hardie boys are clearly very fond of her. Even when you're being blasted by her pale latitude compressor, it's hard not to like her at least a bit. She tested it on herself first! The Half-Light reaction of sympathetic fear to Klaasje's accusations, and then Drama cutting in to point out that the fear isn't to do with Ruby, it's the fear of being arrested that Klaasje is feeling. Her first response, out of fear of the RCM and the Moralintern, is to use the presumed biases and homophobia of these RCM officers as leverage to pin the blame on Ruby, even as nearly every other scrap of information you can collect describing Ruby's personality contradicts it.

Making out w gyutaro... his teeth are very hazardous even when he's trying to be gentle, chips in his already sharp teeth adding even more jagged edges. He's convinced himself that his ugliness is to his benefit, but somewhere inside he's still deeply afraid that you'll realize how disgusting he is.
He tries to scowl at you when you call him your gorgeous boy, when you delicately trace his distended hips and ribs, but his eyes go glossy and a shiver works it's way up his spine.
Gyutaro squirms pitifully under your hands even though he has the strength to rip your arms from their sockets. When you gently capture his lower lip between your own, when you run a thumb from his cheekbone over the discolored splotches scattered across his face.

Do you ever think that if Ed and Izzy had a thing over the years, it meant so so much to Izzy, like he was kissing and sleeping with the man he was in love with, the love of his life, but it never meant the same for Ed either because he couldn't see what they had for what it was, or because he just didn't feel the same? And Izzy could see that of course, but he accepted it, because that's how Ed loves.
And then Stede comes along and Ed is soft, romantic. And then Ed hurts Izzy, again and again, he abuses him. And Izzy believed he deserved it all.
And are you telling me that instead of giving him time to heal and move on or at least rebuild his relationship with Ed, he just had to die? That he spent his entire life cleaning someone else's mess, feeling the wrong kind of love, being in pain... and he just dies?
