Maybe it's just me who thinks like this but Kakashi always seemed like a realistic character to me in the sense that he does things that are close to reality, for example I hate the situation in my country but that doesn't mean i'm going to kill the president or carry out a coup d'état (to put it in an exaggerated way). Just because I stayed doesn't mean i'm happy with the decisions that are made, but it's not easy to leave either since that would mean leaving a lot of people I love. Maybe my life would be better if I went to another country but I prefer to stay and make small but helpful changes. That's one of the reasons I love Kakashi, because even though he's a broken man, he still manages to help others with the changes he makes.
Thank you!
I hate hate HATE the leader of my province and want change and a better future, but i’m not going to go killing people or trying to cause anarchy all on my own. That would get me chucked into jail.
Kakashi is a character who very much doesn’t believe in himself and even when he’s capable doesn’t always believe he is (he can be areogent when he knows without a shadow of a doubt he can win, but otherwise he’s very aware of his limitations. He’s not someone who’s going to look at Hiruzen or Tsunade and think ‘ya i can just kill them’ even if he’s super pissed
He’ll act out in ways he can (going behind Hiruzen’s back to save Tenzo, turning away from a mission Tsunade’s giving him to go after Naruto and Sasuke, and even taking Naruto out of the village during a five kage summit so he can plead for Sasuke’s life to the Raikage) but he’s not someone who thinks ‘i can change the system on my own’ and that’s honestly really real.
Systematic change happens because people band together, not because one person does everything. I read a line by Gojo that said ‘i could kill them all but then others would just replace them’ and that’s so friggen real.
Kakashi’s way of battling against a broken system are snall but effective. He teaches others through words and actions to always put their friends above everything else, including the village. That’s a uniting force that overtime could lead to genuine change.
Gettibg rid of the problem seems appealing, but in many cases it just causes more problems in the long run. (Hiruzen dies? Risk of Danzo taking over and everything getting way worse)
There are ways i wish Kakashi had fought more for sure (not spying on the Uchiha or at minimum arguing against Itachi being expected to spy on his own clan) but his approach is human, believable and thus easier for people to identify with
Sasuke’s approach is more fun and what we wish could happen (without the dictatorship) but it’s not actually manageable in 99.9% of cases and would lead to things probably getting worse rather than better

P.S. I Still Love You (Booktalk)
I just realize that I haven't done a book talk about P.S. I Still Love You. But I've done a booktalk about the first and final book. Wow, I'm such a weird person. (NON-SPOILERS) The book starts of where we left of in the first book. If you read the sneak peak, then you should continue reading. But if not, go read it and come back. She went to Peter's house, with encouragement of her sisters. Specially Kitty. To go to Peter's house, she even wrote a letter to give to Peter. Because of the cold attitude that Peter is treating her, she thought that he doesn't want to see her. Causing to decide not to give the letter to him. That's all I can say without spoiling you. (SPOILERS) I was having non of that shit, when she was about to walk away. I kept saying 'No, I am not having any of that'. Because we spend the entire first boom, building up to their relationship. I was having non of it, but Jenny Han didn't drop it on us. Which was a relife. I love the part where Lara Jean was having snall talk with Peter about what kind of food he likes toeat while watching a movie. When she thought it was useless, she just left it at that. Then she was about to buy, Peter walked uo and buy everything that Lara Jean wants. It was an adorable and sweet scene. But it was ruined by Genevieve, because it made Lara Jean a bit uncomfortable than she already was. I love the line saying that Lara Jean loves the sight of Peter inhaling his chicken wings, this book is breaking steryotypes, and I love it. Tell me, are you Team Peter or Team John? Personally, I'm Team Peter. Don't get me wrong, I'm head over heels for John Ambrose Mclaren. Who doesn't want a guy who is handsome, understanding, responsible and out right so loving. Yes, I know that Peter is also like that. But I just feel like John is the one for Lara, like they said, it wasn't their time. Though out the book, there has been some problems with Lara Jean and Peter's relationship. Lara keeps on seeing Peter with Genevieve, even though Peter keeps on saying that they were just friends and Genevieve is going throught something. It went on like that many time. I understand how that could wear off on you. Because of their little game in the end. Lara Jean ends up finding out the horrible truth about Genevieve, and for the first time. I actually feel bad for her. Lara and Peter then discuss things and they ended up back together. I'm such a crazy person not posting a booktalk about it. This is my favorite book in the triology, then came Always and Forever. Then it became a conflict. I give this book 10 out of 10. Because it has that perfect balance of romance and conflict.
