(different anon) honestly what gets me is that so few izzy fans seem capable of enjoying izzy without demonizing ed. i've seen a few fics that manage to characterize izzy as being more competent and caring than he appears on the show and also keep ed's characterization intact, but they are so few and far between. WHY are so many izzy fans incapable of enjoying their blorbo without demonizing the brown guy?? (we know why)
