#but Luzu and Quackity are a mirror

Who is Luzu?
Tumblr media
Luzu was just announced as a QSMP member, and since he's a very important character in Karmaland and a VERY important person to Quackity's character, here's a quick rundown of Luzu and his lore for folks who aren't familiar with him:
Luzu is played by LuzuVlogs, a Spanish Twitch streamer who's good friends with Quackity!
IRL, they're such good friends that Luzu once accidentally called his real life son "Quackity"
Luzu is bilingual and can speak English and Spanish.
Luzu's character used to be a very kind, friendly, and loving man who helped everyone
HOWEVER, during Karmaland 4 (the season before Quackity joined) when he campaigned to be mayor of Karmaland, he was betrayed and mocked by his friends and the person he loved (who then ran off with someone else)
Luzu before the elections vs. after the elections
Tumblr media Tumblr media
These two animatics sum up his K4 lore pretty well if you want an even shorter TLDR: Lemon Boy, Karma (an animatic approved by Luzu himself)
As a result, Luzu is a very vengeful, distrustful, and all around tragic character
Luzu canonically has an evil side, and he made a deal with "dark gods" in the past to take revenge on the people who've wronged him.
Despite all his past heartbreak and lingering anger, he immediately took a liking to Quackity when they first met.
Luzu and Quackity's Karmaland characters are parallels to each other
Luzu and Quackity were canonically in love with each other, but they were too emotionally constipated to confess their feelings despite their many, many, many romantic and borderline sexual shenanigans.
Luzu warned Quackity not to trust anyone in Karmaland except for him. But despite Luzu's deep mistrust of other people, he trusted Quackity immediately.
Luzu is a very possessive man, and very protective of Quackity.
He calls Quackity "Quacks" (both in and out of character)
He and Rubius have a long-standing rivalry, and they normally don't get along very well.
Luzu and Quackity had 4 (adopted) kids together.
When campaigning for mayor of Karmaland, Quackity asked everyone what they wanted most, and Luzu's response was, "I want you to be happy, Quackity."
HOWEVER, the day of the election, Luzu joined as an opposing candidate at the last second and stole the election from Quackity, fearing that the position in office might leave Quackity with the same trauma he had in a previous life (a life which he can only half-remember).
Luzu says everything he did, he did to protect Quackity.
TLDR: Luzu trauma-projected onto Quackity, who then started a revolution that nearly destroyed Karmaland in retaliation.
For a good TLDR of the revolution arc, “I Can’t Decide” is a good one to watch.
Even though he was furious with Luzu, Quackity told Rubius not to kill him. He’s referred to Luzu as “My 100%”, and “the best person I knew in Karmaland”, and even expressed his gratitude that Luzu was always so kind to him to Luzu himself, despite the war and despite knowing one of them would probably have to kill the other to end it.
Luzu said the song that best fits his character during the revolution arc is Bloody Mary by Lady Gaga.
Edit: This isn’t about the character, but I just saw what Luzu said in response to people asking him if he knew about the invitation:
Luzu: A mi Quackity me invitó desde hace bastante, me dijo si quería participar, así que llevo tiempo calladito, calladito, para no spoilear nada, aunque yo soy invitado no sé nada jaja, lo lleva todo Quackity, así que veremos con qué nos sorprende nuestro querido Quacks.
Translation: My Quackity invited me a long time ago, he asked me if I wanted to participate, so I've been quiet for a while, so as not to spoil anything, although I'm invited I don't know anything haha, Quackity takes everything, so we'll see what our beloved Quacks surprises us with.

with the news of most things being a reflection it makes sense that there are two versions of quackity. how does that play into the code monsters and osito bimbo tho ?
my theory is that it is all some sort of simulation linked to what luzu is trying to do. the codes are errors caught in the crossfire trying to warn others because they don't know exactly who is doing what. osito bimbo seems to have multiple (?) personalities and moods so it would make sense that they are some sort of robot that there's multiple of. and if we follow the line of logic that this is a broken code the fact that there are two quackitys adds up to a breach in the system.
of course with what happened to felps today it could be that luzu and the federation are somehow tied to the same goal. osito bimbo from the start has talked about the island like it's perfect and it could be that it was designed to be that way. everything is mirrors so it's all equal, and the main federation member is a stark white color. everything that we've seen that doesn't belong in an island setting has been a stark contrast to the surroundings. the eggs also follow this train of thought. the eggs were given to the players by the federation to be taken care but the question is how did the federation know about the dragon and the eggs? they have the participants easy access to something they knew would get pressed. which doesn't make any sense?? like if they didn't want the rule to be broken they didn't have to add the button. it would make sense that it was all manufactured so they could give the eggs to the islanders. the islanders take care of the eggs and do everything with them. if the eggs were also some sort of code planted to study the islanders it would make sense for why the button was added.
i don't think that quackity is involved in any of the bad things going on but i do think he might be an unknowing participant or victim.

reading the luzu post, yeah cwilb and kluzu are smilar in superficial ways but not in a character mirror way nor how they relate to k/c!quackity. i feel like people go off about it more becayse theyre both tall ""emo"" guys with red color coding and fucked up relationships but both have their own narrative ways of interacting with quackitys characters(which is why i love them sm<3)
So very true, they very much are only superficially similar. Tnt are much more like yin and yang whereas Beanie/lckity are more sun and moon if that makes sense. Tnt are lifelong rivals with sentimental feelings and a complicated past but whose lives went down very different paths and took them to different places- lckity are strangers turned close friends who had romantic feelings for each other that, for their own separate reasons, never got around to confessing and tragically turned enemies and ultimately back into strangers.
And while Luzu and Wilbur's stories have some pretty similar starting beats ( elections, betrayal, spiraling-) they are two different characters and serve different roles in their stories- Luzu's role in k5 is very much different then Wilbur's post revival.

I dont think i know enough about the spqnish creators to understand the mirror theory, could you per chance explain / come with an example of one of the pairs ?
The mirror theory is that Quackity invited people with their counterparts on the hispanic/english community since he has his own counterpart (himself)
For example, Dantdm and Vegetta777 are (respectively) the biggest minecraft creators with like +10 years of career and were everyone's childhood. Or c!Wilbur and k!Luzu were both kinda love interests (not getting into that discussion) and also enemies at some point. Slime and Maxo also had similar roles in dmsp and k5

I have no smart thoughts to say right now but I was reading some more asks on the k!Quackity c!Quackity sorta crossover au we got going on and the idea of k!Quackity's scarred eye sometimes just randomly hurting even though everything should technically be just fine the idea of k!Quackity sometimes shivering when he sees a pickaxe and he doesn't remember why it feels wrong and maybe there's no concrete reason of why he feels this way but he can't help it even when it's around people he trusts like Luzu but even more so when he's around people he likes but doesn't trust like Rubius
In case you don't know why exactly a pickaxe because you have mentioned you aren't very into dsmp lore the only canonical life c!Quackity has lost was by c!Techno killing him with a pickaxe and that's where the scar comes from
(I really don't wanna sound rude with the explanation, really sorry if I do) -Beloved Drellumina
Ohhh! My beloved Drellumina, did you know that I smile everytime I see you reblog something from me? That's a happy fact from today!
I love how we are all, "Mmmh love quackity, give angst to quackity :]" with most of the asks.
In other words I love the scar angst, give it to me, when he wakes up in the middle of the night and has to check in his mirror he is fine because he is HURTING. And the pickaxe bit is wonderful that explains why we was hesitant to mine (even if cc!Quackity says is to not make the stream boring) with rubius hMMM.
Thank you for the explanation, is never rude to clarify cause I have been telling that I am not on time with lore, is valid.
With dsmp lore I think I am most in line with is Tommy's, Techno's and a bit Quackity this in a totally biased "I love the cc's" way and then got attached to the character, so yeah, don't expect takes in dsmp cause I got my pink colored glasses for the boys and I know it's not fair hakahakan

I know a lot of people have been talking about "Evil Cucurucho," especially after seeing the message Forever got before being kicked off of the server today, but I think that's we're looking at this the wrong way.
Tumblr media
First, we need to remember that the QSMP has a running theme of parallels and mirrors (ex: Quackity / ElQuackity, Luzu / Arin, the wall dividing the original Spanish / English-speaking participants, etc.) and I think this is just another physical representation of that theme.
Second: the "Evil Cucurucho" name isn't necessarily fitting. Although the known danger (our Cucurucho) may seem less-threatening than the unknown danger (this black Cucurucho), that's simply because we don't know anything about this new Cucurucho.
We also don't know if these Cucuruchos are representatives of two opposing forces, or if it's something else entirely. I think it's safe to assume they don't represent good vs. evil — rather, it might be a matter of chaos vs. order. And what's one thing we know about our Cucurucho?
Tumblr media
...Or so they say.
Based on what we know right now, there's definitely something larger going on behind the scenes, and we aren't even sure who the main players are yet. In essence, there's a game of chess being played, and it's a game where we haven't even begun to see the full board yet.
