2019 marks the 110th anniversary of Bugatti. From the very beginnings of the brand, Ettore strived to have his cars be the pinnacle of performance and design. From the very successful Type 35, to the birth of the hypercar in the EB110, Bugatti has been the benchmark to all others who seek to be the best. This year Bugatti premiered the Centodieci, a car calling back to not only the EB110 but to the coach building days. The display at Pebble Beach certainly did not disappoint, and I’m so glad I was able to see these highlights from my favourite brand all in one place. 🧐 Automobiles Ettore Bugatti came to fame in the 1920s with the Bugatti Type 35, generally acknowledged as the most successful racing car 🏎 of all time🏆.

In 1926 Ettore and his son Jean decided to build a half-scale Type 35 for Ettore's youngest son, Roland, on the occasion of his 4th birthday. As a tribute to his artist 🎨 brother Rembrandt Bugatti who committed suicide in 1916, the pair also took his “Trained Elephant“ sculpture as the mascot for the most beautiful car in the world, the Bugatti Royale of 1926.

To celebrate Bugatti's 110th anniversary, the brand introduced the smallest member of the Bugatti family: The Baby II. A contemporary tribute to Ettore's 💯 masterpiece.

Bugatti Chiron Sport “110 ans Bugatti” 2019 Parabéns @bugatti! Para comemorar os 110 anos a marca de luxo francesa criou uma série limitada do seu hiper esportivo Chiron. O “110 ans Bugatti” possui um dos símbolos mais famosos de uma nação orgulhosa. O tricolor francês “Le Bleu-Blanc-Rouge”, com as cores azul, branca e vermelha, decora o corpo e o interior em vários pontos e harmoniza perfeitamente com o extraordinário Chiron Sport. A bandeira originalmente simbolizava a união entre monarca e povo na fase da monarquia constitucional. Desde o fim da monarquia, representou a Revolução Francesa com seus famosos ideais de liberdade (azul), igualdade (branco) e fraternidade (vermelho). Cristiano Ronaldo es un fanático de los coches. En su haber tiene varios Ferrari, varios Audis, varios Porsche y al Bugatti Chiron que se compró en 2017 le puede acompañar otro exclusivo superdeportivo de la marca francesa en breve, el ultraexclusivo 'La Voiture Noire'.

Es un auténtico misterio quién ha comprado la única unidad producida de este coche. Bugatti no suelta prenda, sólo que un "coleccionista" de coches ha pagado los más de 16 millones de euros que cuesta este bólido, presentado en el pasado Salón de Ginebra. El nombre de Cristiano Ronaldo está en todas las quinielas, y aunque ni confirman ni desmienten, está claro que no desentonaría ni mucho menos en el garaje del portugués.

El 'La Voiture Noire' es un coche como nunca antes se ha creado. Sus datos asustan: motor de 8 litros y 16 cilindros, con una potencia de 1.500 CV y un brutal par motor de 1.600 Nm, capaz de alcanzar, según las estimaciones los 420 km/h de velocidad punta y que puede pasar de 0 a 100 km/h en 2,5 segundos. Carrocería creada en fibra de carbono, detalles exclusivos en su radical diseño y múltiples posibilidades de personalización en su interior son sólo algunos de los elementos que añaden un punto más de atractivo a ese comprador.

El nombre de 'La Voiture Noire' no es nuevo, y de hecho es un homenaje al legendario Bugatti Type 57 SC Atlantic, del que sólo se crearon cuatro unidades entre 1936 y 1938. Uno de ellos lo condujo Jean Bugatti, hijo del fundador Ettore, y lo bautizó con el nombre de 'La Voiture Noire', del que ha heredado el modelo actual.

Si Cristiano Ronaldo es finalmente el dueño del Bugatti 'La Voiture Noire' se convertirá en el propietario de un automóvil único, y que seguro le aumentará en unos cuantos miles de euros su ya de por sí abultada cuenta de seguros de coches. Para disfrutarlo tendrá que esperar dos años, que es el tiempo de espera del fabricante para su entrega.
