I like think Bradford created fanfiction(?) where his parents where still alive through his childhood and he never went on adventures with Finch and like, these self indulgent pieces of fiction are very important to him. Basically like comfort media for him, though he’d never call it that.

And I also like to think Bentley and Bulford could actually have found them and had a very awkward scene with Bradford.

More FOWL Donald AU stuff

Based on convos I had with @battlecry51

Kay K will be in the fowl Don au only near the end to take the buzzard brothers to the agency. And Mrs B will take heron to shush.

Donald uses magic for more extreme disguises such as during Phantom and the sorceress, when he uses magic to disguise himself more effectively.

During the missions where his family is involved Donald is in the background watching the kids, kinda like a guardian angel. Even saving them if needed. During swanstine he saved Webby from falling to her death.

During swanstaine episode, Agent Duck will fight scrooge instead of heron.

Lost Cargo will be more important to the plot, but kit will still be in the episode and be characterized differently to fit with tailspin. (Idk anything about tailspin so if anyone wants to help with that go ahead) Della first meets Agent Duck and fight him in a sword fight, there’s something familiar about him but she can quite place it. When Agent Duck sees what the stone does, he wants to destroy or leave it behind, while Don Karnage will want to take it back to Fowl and not fail the mission plus treasure.

April May and June will be in this AU to help in the plan of attack in the main fowl base with Xandra and Donald.

Xandra will be disguised as a egghead for a bit. You think it would fail considering she’s a human not an animal but eggheads are well…. Eggheads

Objection! All contradictions with the contract: First contradiction is that he tried to hurt Della (not Donald cause angst baby) second contradiction is that anyone in the family can break the rule of never adventuring again, and Donald already broke that rule because he was on an adventure this whole time. And finally, Bradford can’t get rid of all adventures that’s literally impossible so he was destined to lose from the start. Cause adventure is in their blood. I believe that the family is the greatest adventure of all is a good message, but it was overused to hell, and I saw it coming from a mile away in the finale, so I changed it. There’s more stupidity to the contract but yeah.

I’m still trying to think of how the Buzzard brothers would be in terms of backstory and personality, so this is all o have for now: Bentley and Buford also went on adventures with their grandma and brother, Bentley was a bit more fond of them, but never admitted it. While Buford was more neutral about it. Bentley is the more outspoken one, who usually brings common sense whenever it’s lost on his brothers. While Buford is more of a watcher a bit shy. the relationship between all of them is really rocky, due to Bradford’s attitude on family, and other factors like a toxic household growing up etc. But both Bentley and Buford, want to be with Bradford even if Bradford doesn’t want them. I also added a bit of faith just to how he sees himself as doing what god would want which is order. He only believes in one god not multiple, which is why he wants to get rid of em. And the reason for the project name Lux Dei is because he saw the clones as the light of god, to help in his plans. Bentley and Bradford fight the most due to disagreements, etc Gladstone has a bigger role in the Phantom and the sorceress, about his insecurities with his luck and loneliness, etc.

SteelBeak will be characterized more closely to the original Darkwing Duck version.

Generally, no.

Bros Not Clones has lowkey been pushed into this belief that he's helpless alone by Bentley, much like Buford.

O.W.L. actually has decent self-worth - he genuinely feels that he's doing good for the world.

Uncle BB doesn't feel he deserves the happiness he has gotten.

Void and Fiends Fall have both been served a huge dose of reality check and humble pie so, yeah, they aren't doing great in the self-worth department.

Dadford's ego has started to fail and he's becoming self-aware, so also starting to falter in the self-worth department.

Smolford feels like a burden who slows people down and holds people back.

and Brycen - well, his old verse name - Just Another Clone - is a pretty big indicator of his self-worth - at least while still in FOWL - post-FOWL it would be a long slow road but I could see him being able to feel valued, depending on the influences around him.
