(this is not a request don't fret kkkkk) but would you ever write a ff about a very rude (the stereotype of the kinda sexist disrespectful fuckboy) that OC tames? THIS IS NOT A COMPLAINT DON'T GET ME WRONG I love your fics but the men... They're unrealistically nice. Most of them are jerks. So it's something I've noticed in your stories, how the men are always not misogynistic?? Hence I thought I'd be interesting to see how you'd handle a story with a male lead like that. I love your fics btw

+ I forgot to mention that I know you've written enemies to lovers before, or mature topics. I was talking about something more like a very rude man as a man. Not my piece of cake either, but since I love your writing, it'd be great to see it.

Sorry I took so long to reply! Honestly at first I didn't know what to say. I mean, I don't like misonystic men. I find sexism rather unattractive. However, I see where you're coming from, and as much as I despise them, I can't say I don't find it satisfying to humble such a man.

With all of this said, even if what we write is fiction, I as a writer don't feel comfortable romanticising certain things.

If you also read dom!male ffs, you might have encountered several stories where abuse is turned into a sexual dynamic. Of course, it's fiction, and sometimes is consented within the narrative. I personally feel incredibly violent reading that stuff, so even if I were into dom!male ffs, I probably wouldn't read it anyways. Just as I don't like to read sub!male fics where the same kind of abuse takes place.

Now – and I know you probably didn't even want such a long reply, sorry 😭 – I don't like only fluffy stuff! You could even say I'm more into angst.

But the thing is, every single day I get out of bed and I have to put up with misogyny, catcalling, the fear of being drugged at a party, men being patronising and putting me down because I'm a woman. And I hate it, I hate it so much. So, I don't think I'll make the male lead of one of my fics, my personal cource of relief and peace, a sexist jerk for the sake of realism or the flimsy satisfaction of 'taming' a man.

There's this famous quote by Margaret Atwood about how everything is pretty much a male fantasy – and that itself is an act of dominance. I like my men respectful and nice, and flawed of course, but just as I wouldn't make them racist or queerphobic, I sure as hell don't fantasise about sexist men.

I mean, I do like the concept of taming a man who dislikes everyone, or a man who is overall rude. But when that hatred is directed at a community in specific, babe, that's bigotry.

I forgot to mention that the stereotype of the misonystic fuckboy is outdated af. It's too 2010s for me lol nowadays you're either a toxic guy with black painted nails or an incel who goes around calling strangers a simp and had an identity crisis because suddenly liking underage anime girls 'is weird now'.

So, point is, if I wanted to tame a misonystic man I'd just call my dad and explain to him why catcalling is wrong even when it's not directed to his daughters.

Btw this is NSFW ( some of it) and mentions suicide/depression cause I went there. There is some serious truth tea in this god damnit. I put thought and love into this. 2. What are you listening to right now? The sound of typing cause I’m not listening to music. Also the sound of my breath and the wind in the trees. V/ relaxing. (( that was yesterday, today I’m listening to MCR and sanders Sides videos at a loud volume on chromecast on my tv))

3. What was the last thing you ate? ¼ of a cup of icing sugar. I ate it out of the measuring cup lmao.

4. Who was the last person you talked to on the phone? My mum. I do talk to other people, I swear! I’m just not good at phone calls

7. What is the first thing you noticed in someone? Someone as in??? Random or??. In Randoms I usually notice people’s faces and then clothes, especially if they’re eye catching. I notice memorabilia/fan stuff pretty quickly as well.

8. What is your hair color? Brown but I use hair dye to make it partially blue or purple or red sometimes. It doesn’t work very well unless I bleach my hair and I can’t do that till I’m 16 which sucks. I use hair spray every now and again, I have white hair spray and glitter hair spray, and I used to have blue as well. Glitters my favourite . I also have a full rainbow of hair chalk but my friends and I dropped it at one point during the Hair Incident of Grade Eight which is what I’m calling it now.

9. What is your eye color? Blue/Grey ish. 10. Do you wear contacts/glasses? Nope. My mum says I will if I keep looking at my screen for hours on end though. I don’t want glasses cause my 20/20 vision is serving me well and I like it.

Abuse is redefined as both emotional and psychical and people start to understand that, neurodivergents are fucking accommodated more, same for disabled people.
