Breach: Chicago War Zone - WIP Update 18 - 26th of August 2023
... This one's actually been brewing for 6 months, so... 1 Million Words folks!
Update 21 has been released! Last public upload was pretty much a year ago so, I'm very sorry for the long silence, a lot of the updates have been mostly in the private testing phase on Patreon, but I am here with a bunch of fixes and hangout updates.
But most importantly... We've passed the 1 Million Words mark... My fingers are tired. ❤

I'll be completely honest, when I started Breach 2 I knew it was going to surpass 1 million words. I just didn't think it would take this long. Through numerous challenges, both in writing and in real life. Through numerous ups and downs, I'm absolutely surprised and grateful to know that there are people out there who still support me. I've had many thoughts, numerous times, to give up and move on to other things in life, but I didn't want to disappoint, so I kept writing.
I bring to you, the 1 million milestone update. It's really not much, but it is one step closer to completion. This update has been in the works for the past 6 months mostly due to the weapons rework and also story changes for the crew members that I apparently couldn't keep track of without a giant excel spreadsheet. This update finalizes the Archangel's Gamma Crew hangouts, which is Kaz and Carly's hangout as well as Anna and Charlie's hangout.
As before, they share the same storyline so they will both share the same hangout. If you choose to go out with one, you cannot go out with the other. Kaz shares it with Carly, and Anna shares it with Charlie. Keep that in mind. Oh, and there's 7 new guns to play with. Have fun, Ian.
This update does not include the new Chapters. Chapter 3 will still be Patreon exclusive until Breach 2 finishes and I can send the demo to the public testing, and to CoG for the full release.
I really cannot reiterate how grateful I am to have an amazing array of readers and supporters who are still here after numerous hiccups and fuck ups. Thank you all, so very much.

She, unfortunately, was an undercover cop, turned Archangel informant for the FBI, and stuck with it.

Raphael
Or, her real name, Capella Esposito.
(Needed to improvise with the clothes a bit, casual clothing for now)
25 years old, born in Italy (as far as she knows). Was adopted for a short time into an american family, but quickly left behind again, just like she was by her real parents.
Still knows some Italian from her early childhood, though she speaks without an accent unless she's very mad. Otherwise knows German, of course English and some French.
Was handed from Orphanage to Orphanage until she was abandoned by the system when she turned 18, which is when she joined the Police. Mainly so that she would be considered to be valuable at least, that someone would care about her, if only as an asset to the state.
Mouse doesn't count, as she sees him as more of a Little Brother figure. In her mind, she is the one supposed to protect and care for him, not the other way around.
1,65m, though she seems to be even shorter due to her rather thin built.
Blue eyes, her usually blonde hair often dyed.
Capella is fast and not terrible at fighting, no matter if short or long range, but her best skill is her charisma. She could sell herself as the Queen of the Vatican if she'd want to, and her innocent face and calm, soothing voice help for sure. It's a bad idea to let her behind a car wheel, though she can drive a bike just fine. For tech, she has Mouse, so she never really bothered to learn much more than the basics. She knows how to open a door lock and how to assemble a gun easily, but don't let her near anything high tech.
While Capella does continue to report to the FBI for a while, that changes the first time Gabriel saves her life, despite getting injured himself in the process. She never expected anyone (except maybe Mouse) to do that for her.
Her preferred weapon is her Steyr AUG, nicknamed Wormwood, and a Beretta M9, nicknamed Maria. She also has a police baton for close combat, simple but effective.

… Hoo boy, this was one of the biggest I've ever made in one go.
Update 18 has been released! over 60k worth of words, finally finished the entire Chapter 2 Part 2 for the FBI route. This update is mostly for the FBI route with only minor fixes for the Archangel route. This update also includes the 1st hangouts for both Megan House and Rita Collins.

Good lord, 62k words worth of update. I honestly don't know what to say, this is the biggest I've ever written in one sitting. For those of you wondering, yes I am doing alright. Just a bit tired is all.
My prediction was that I would've gone over 40k words when I added Collins and Megan's hangout but, ooh boy, I didn't expect to be able to finish the entire chapter, but, yeah, that happened.
This update consists of the newly finished Day 1 and Day 2 of the FBI route, completely finishing off Chapter 2 Part 2 of the FBI route. Along with a few fixes, this is mainly a story update focusing on the FBI arc. There is no new Archangel route content. There is also some new hangouts for the FBI with Megan House and Rita Collins being available for hangouts. I can now finally move on to Chapter 3 Part 1 for both the FBI and Archangel arcs in update 19.
As part of this announcements, I would like to also announce that this is as far as where the public demo will go for now. From this point on, I will be focusing on private testing on patreon only. But fear not, I will update the public demo periodically with all of the hangouts and all of the available side missions.
I don't know what to go is with the Hosted Games requirements, but I may also update the public demo with the full beta version of the game going all the way to the last chapter at the end of development.
With that all said… I can officially say, it is now smooth sailing from here.
Thank you all so much for the love and support you've given throughout the entire journey. It's been a long 4 years but, we're getting closer to the end now.

Second of the Breach One Page Characterization series, depicting A slightly different iteration of that last scene in Breach 1, Chapter 3. With Canon Archangel MC Aria.

His eyes stare endlessly into the grains of the wooden door that separates him and his loved one. One hand pressed against the frame of the door as he thinks to himself “Is this too much?” as he holds the rose between his teeth. He sighs and pulls the rose out of his mouth before looking around at the empty hall, thinking to himself for a moment about what to do, what to say, how should he be dressed?
He unzips his red leather jacket, before quickly pulling his shirt out from being tucked into his jeans. He lets out a sigh as he runs his fingers through the strands of his dark brown hair, messy and ragged.
“Buenas noches…” He whispers to himself as he practices the pose, leaning against the wall and putting the rose stalk between his teeth once more, practicing the smile. “Buenhoph nhocheph…”
He takes the rose stalk out of his mouth and groans. “Nope, can’t talk with this thing between my mou-” He pauses as he hears footsteps approaching the door from the other side.
He panics for a moment before quickly sticking the same pose again and biting the rose stalk between his teeth once more. “Ow.” He whispers a bit as he feels one of the uncut barbs poke into his lips.
The door opens, and Aria stands at the door, gasping quietly and stepping back in surprise.
"Goof evheningh." he mumbles through the rose.
Aria stares at him in silence for a moment, taking in the sight.
Rook takes the rose out of his mouth and sighs, his face turning serious. "Look, I'm sorry about what happened tonight. I came to see if you were okay," he says, his bright-green eyes staring at you with concern. "Are you okay?"
"Pretty shaken, but still alive." She tells him, quietly rubbing her arms.
"Well, I'm here for you if you need me." He nods. "I'd like to be honest with you," he continues, rolling the rose between his fingers. "Last time we hung out, I sort of froze up. I'm sorry."
Aria quietly steps forward as Rook looks down to the ground, contemplating his next few words as Aria leans in to hear him out.
"Truth be told, I'm tired of not having anyone to cuddle with at night. I know I only met you a short time ago, but so far I can't take my eyes off of you," he says, his eyes locking onto yours.
Aria stares at him, processing his words as her mouth slowly pulls open to speak but she stops herself, letting him continue.
He hands you the rose and asks, "Would you please let me be your blanket for ton-"
She can’t help it, she’s grabbed his wrist and pulled him in already, planting a kiss onto his lips as he giggles in delight, wrapping his arms around her waist as she spins to grab the door handle and slam the front door shut. He grabs onto her hips and pulls her upwards, holding her in front of him as he leans in closer, tasting her lips, her tongue, his hands running along her back as he hugs her.
"You look gorgeous, by the way-" He says in between the kisses. His nose pressed against her cheek, running down to her neck as he bites her gently, causing her to moan as she reaches down to undress him, his own hands already one step forward and unbuttoning her blouse as she takes his leather jacket off, letting it drop to the ground as he leans in closer, the bulge on his crotch pressing into her as the two of them kiss and clash lips, stepping, wobbling over to the couch.
“This is a whole lot faster than what I was expecting, but dios mio, let’s rock~” Aria squeals as Rook turns her around, bending her over the couch as he reaches around from behind, hand reaching under unbuttoned blouse to grab onto her sensitive breasts, fingers reaching her nipples as he leans in, pressing his member hard against the back of her waist. Not skipping a beat, she reaches back behind her, feeling his chest pressed on her back, reaching down, caressing his abdomen, further down, grabbing onto his hard bulge before he pulls his jeans down, letting it spring out to press against her cheeks from behind.
“B-Be quiet, Mouse’s sleeping” Aria whispers as she moans quietly, breathing in, pressing her breasts into his hands as Rook leans in closer from behind, his hands returning the favor, reaching down under her panties to rub gently on her most sensitive area.
“I can be quiet, can you?~” Rook leans in to kiss her as her hands rub all over her clit, causing her to jitter slightly as he pulls her pants down, leaning in closer, letting the tip of his hard member grind gently in between her legs from behind.
He looks past her to the reflection on the curtained window, watching her face as his hands explore her lower body. He closes his eyes, and lets his body and instincts do the rest.
