How do you think a kid and/or parents would react to seeing the toyfolk characters, i.e. they somehow wind up on Misfit Isle or one of the toyfolk manages to escape back to the human world only to be picked up by the humans?
No different than any other toy, I'd imagine. Magic exists differently in the mortal realm.

did you know sonic was actually brown before he was blue
probably because he's a hedgehog and that's hedgehog colors right?

no cause like, the way they've turned gabe into this pathetic excuse of a man really got on my nerves. He's silly, almost idiotic in the show. I'm not saying that Sally should be mistreated but enduring what happened out of love for percy and how she breaks free from that abusive situation are intrinsically linked to gabe being this RAT
can't believe they'll do that to Sally and I hope I'm wrong and he'll eventually be what he's in the books (?) sounds unlikely though

Percy Jackson (TV show): My dad has never done a thing for me!! Why should I help him? My only parent is Sally Jackson.
Poseidon: *in the middle of paying child support so Sally can afford her apartment, send Percy to a private boarding school, sustain Gabe's online gambling and rent out a good quality Mohawk cabin on short notice*
Poseidon:
Poseidon, aside: Okay Sally we need to have a conversation-

Why is Gabe still in Toyland? Wouldn’t something like giving Tammy a new body and thus saving her have redeemed themselves of their big sins due to it being a selfless act of good?
There are things you guys don't know yet... and I don't mean about Gabe.
Besides, even the worst of humanity will sometimes stop and help you change a flat tire - that is to say that perhaps she isn't even meant to be a part of his path to redemption.
"Tammy 2.0" is just... a goal. A dream. It hasn't happened and may never happen. A potential false hope that could devastate her. He knows better than to feed false hope to someone, or worse - take it away. He knows (or thinks he knows) a terrible truth that he can never bring himself to say.
I'll use one more analogy. Some people live their lives expecting an afterlife, but how might the revelation that such a thing doesn't exist impact their lives? Would they tell others of this terrible truth? Or keep it to themselves and let them keep their fantasies? Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst.
Lasciate ogne speranza, voi ch'intrate.

how to play Gabe’s Favorite Animal:
take turns saying “gabe’s favorite animal is [animal]”
then gabe has to say something he likes about that animal
example:
player: “gabe’s favorite animal is moose”
gabe: “my favorite thing about moose is when they’re nowhere near me”
you can play this with someone else if you don’t know gabe

changes when adapting a book are completely fine but what they did to gabe was simply not it
this abuser is now just a silly character??? wtf does that mean to sally's arch, then? especially the one involving medusa?
i think authors should be a bit more like neil gaiman
