Being Keith’s Older Sibling

The urges were too strong to not write this💆‍♀️💆‍♀️

Sorry if there’s some typos, my eyes are in a LOT of pain rn

Being Keith’s older sibling is definitely a hard feat in itself

After the death of your guys’ dad, things kinda went downhill for both of y’all

Your general mistrust and attitude towards people brushed off on little Keith, which comes to play later in his life as we’ve seen he was a more troubled kid

So while you tried your best to be a good role model for Keith growing up, it was hard to do so when all he ever saw from you was your aggression towards adults who tried separating you both

Eventually, social services do separate you guys, claiming that it would be best to allow Keith to grow without your negative influences but the damage had been done

Keith would grow up to not trust many people in his life because of your separation, always finding ways to sneak off and see you at the school they sent you to

It was times like those where you would promise to take him away from this place, from Earth, and live a life where you won't lose each other again

Because of this, Keith also developed a habit of lying to his guardians about his whereabouts because of your own attachment to him, encouraging him to continue this behavior 😭😭😭

Man none of yall knew better😭💔💔

But as you grew older, you, unfortunately, were sent away to the city to continue your studies there, cutting all contact with your little brother

Keith would then take an interest in flying and would go on to attend the Garrison to learn to become a pilot while you made plans every day to once again be reunited with him

I feel like it would take some time to leave the city and go back to your hometown because of the lack of resources available to you

So by the time you reach the Garrison after finding out he's been attending the school, it would be around the time he flunked out and disappeared

Fate is not fair to yall (crying)

So you get a job at the garrison while trying to find Keith and some time passes (YAY TIME SKIP)

After following Lance and Hunk while also finding Pidge on the rooftops, readying to reprimand and write them up, you all see the space shuttle crash and explosions go off, shooting off immediately to investigate

All while you're yelling at them to get back to the building cuz you don't want to lose the only job you have that's near where you think Keith is lurking💀

After seeing it was Keith who caused the explosions, he doesn't recognize you until you all get to the cabin

It's kinda emotional on your end cuz bro

This is your little brother... He's all grown up now, but in a way, he still looks the same. He's so much taller now, his hair is longer, and he would look at you with a familiar distrust you recognized

It was the same look he would give others when you guys were younger

The worst part is that he doesn't even recognize you because its been YEARS since he's last seen you

So it's a bit of a shock for him when you reveal that hey! I'm your sibling! And I've been trying so hard to get back to you for YEARS!

Very emotional as you both hug it out

Like really hug it out, tears and everything

"I thought I would never see you again."

"I never stopped looking for you Keith."

After that everything is HISTORY

The dynamic between you both is kind of a weird thing tbh

While you're still holding onto the past and the younger version of Keith you remember, Keith has since let go of what the past held, ready to start a new future with his older sibling in his life

Because you're still holding onto this past, you treat him as if he's still a child and appear somewhat coddling in a way

You're just so excited and happy to be reunited with Keith again that you forget he's since then grown up. He's learned to be independent from years spent alone

And while Keith does miss you as well, he isn't used to having this new 'guardian figure' in his life, only used to the freedom and advice given to him from others, especially Shiro

Speaking of Shiro, I think you would go to him for advice on the blockage between you both since he basically raised Keith after you had left.

He knows Keith better, as much as it hurts you to admit it

Shiro would definitely tell you to give Keith space, to give him time to adjust to the new changes in his life. He's still a teen and is still learning to deal with his emotions, so just give him space to fully digest the situation at hand

You take this advice to heart and tread carefully, which Keith appreciates A LOT

Like imagine you grow up with unrestricted freedom, being able to do whatever you want and just learning to take care of yourself, and then one day, an authoritative figure appears in your life and begins setting up these restrictions. Telling you to be careful, making small rules that break your routine entirely

That's what Keith felt when you began making your presence more known in his life since you believed that you had to keep protecting him from the world

But he's grown up

He shows you that he doesn't need you protecting him anymore

It's bittersweet for you to see him not need you and makes you sad that you missed out on basically his childhood

BUT HE'S SO SWEET IN LETTING YOU KNOW THAT YOU'LL BE THERE FOR HIM NOW AND HIS FUTURE ACCOMPLISHMENTS

AND THAT HE'LL BE THERE FOR YOURS TOO😭😭😭

There's just TOO MUCH I can say about being Keith's older sibling, like it's such a complex relationship I would love to develop more on!!!!

This is literally just the tip of the iceberg but imma cut it short for now

To keep it sweet, both of you know that now you're together again, nothing is ever separating yall again

Space wars and all, you guys know you're stronger together and your bond just grows into a beautiful relationship as time goes on😭😭

ok hear me out, you guys have a garden at tweeks house. it's y'alls relaxing garden whenever you guys are stressed from school. and it smells like coffee cause tweeks parents grow their own coffee beans their!! you guys built this garden by yourselves. it has a mini water fountain and everything. even a lil bench. you guys mostly planted flowers there.

sneaking out to the park late at night is a thing you guys do once a week. at first tweek was skeptical because you could get kidnapped. but after a few times going he now enjoys it. you guys play hide and seek cops and robbers tag and much more. it's so chaotic too because it's at night you can't see anything. lot's of screaming is heard and the neighbors once called the cops on you guys because. they thought a murder was happening💀. you guys ran away whenever you saw blue and red lights.

on those lazy days you and tweek go to craigs house and set up his movie projector outside in his backyard. you guys lay on his trampoline with blankets and munch on snacks. ghibli movies are %100 being watched. but it's all fun and games until CRAIG starts jumping. oh nah you and tweek always be flying like 300 feet into the air. so you and tweek always get craig back with a double jump. craig finally got to visit outer space that night😍.

"i'll give you $5 bucks" "ok bet" tweek really couldn't believe you drank that. he was so disappointed in you too. you drank all that just for 5 dollars tf?? even though he was disappointed in you, he recorded you drinking it. he was laughing his ass off the whole time too omfg. the next day he was so worried because he thought you died😭😭😭. in reality you got a new and exclusive virus😍.

doing your skincare for him. i feel like sometimes his anxiety makes him break out sometimes. so he comes over to your house to ask you for skin advice and for you to do his skincare! you were so excited when he asked you that like you were screaming and jumping!! tweek didn't really get the hype though🤨. first you started off with a cleanser, then a face mask. he didn't like the consistency off the face mask because it was slimey. he was like "what am i frog🙄🙄" "yes" after that you used some serums and moisturizers then you dried him off with a fan. bro was so tired and about to fall asleep until he saw you grab more boxes. "oh jesus christ what now" "nose strips and pimple patches duh🙄" tweek actually felt nice and relaxed after you were done. it became it weekly thing for you to do his skincare. but after a while he finally does it on his own everyday. he now has the most clearest skin!! thanks you to you ofc<3

so yk how tweek has his buttons all messed up on his shirt. sometimes they pop out due to his twitches so you always sew them back on just for him. but you've been sewing his buttons on for awhile and he quicky grasps the steps very easily. after a bit of practice he learned to sew his own buttons. anyways he wanted to learn a little bit more advanced things then just sewing buttons. so you taught him more! after a couple months he made so many things. like gloves, plushies, bags and much more. but his favorite thing to do is emborder his jeans and shirts. once you guys bought each other jeans and spent the whole night and morning embroidering little things and doodles about each other. i just think this is a cute little niche thing that he does. :)

baking coffee cupcakes with him is for sure a thing you guys do. he has a huge sweet tooth! i feel like older tweek is not trying to drink as much coffee since it's been damaging him since he was a kid😭. so he starts somewhere small. you suggest coffee cupcakes since he has a sweet tooth and he loves the idea. it still has coffee but not as much. he actually created the cupcake recipe and it turned out so good!! so don't be surprised when it's 4am and you get a message from tweek that says, "lets go to walmart and get stuff for coffee cupcakes." you say yes ofc because his cupcakes are so delicious!! once you guys get back from walmart. you guys put on your matching aprons and then start baking together. tweek is the cupcake expert here so you follow his instructions. whenever you mix and measure things tweek has to watch you because. one time you put the whole bottle of vanilla extract because you were talking to him and you didn't even notice. once you guys bit into those cupcakes...... you spat them back out cause they were so nasty. this time the cupcakes turned out delicious because tweek was monitoring you😭.

so i hc that craig loves space as much as stripe so going to the space museum. are definitely things that you guys love to do and always do. you guys always go once a month if not more!! whenever you guys to the space museum, you never fail to smile at craigs lit up face when he enters🤭. his favorite exhibit is the big shuttle that takes up the whole place. the first time you guys were there you snuck onto the shuttle and toured it. it was all going until you guys got caught by security. you tried to ditch them but y'all still got caught. you both flipped off security whenever they escorted you out🙄. his 2nd favorite exhibit is the star room. it's a projector that shows stars on the ceilings and all the planets are hanging in there. there's also old love music playing in the background. this exhibit is for couples but he don't care. every time it's empty you guys pull up and start slow dancing. only for a minute because every time you see craigs serious face you start laughing and he does too. you guys can't take anything seriously😭 .

you and craig always have photoshoots with your guinea pigs. ik this sounds childish but, you and craigs love for guinea pigs are unmatched😔🙌. craig always goes to your house for the photoshoots. some examples that you've guys done are astronauts, race car drivers, and barbie and ken! and these photoshoots turn out so good im not even kidding. the accessories and clothes are hand made by y'all ofc. and the backgrounds are painted by craig. you always take the photos. craig does too sometimes but they turn out blurry. "i can take the photos this time if you want" "NO ITS OK I'LL TAKE THEM" (craig always prints out the photos and tapes it to his walls.) once stripe and piggy are done you let them run around in their own play area. THESE ARE SPOILED GUINEA PIGS. they have a bunch of toys, mazes that they can go through and much more. you and craig got jobs just so you can support your children🙌. once their tired from playing around you guys always make them gourmet food. craig also bought them little tables and chairs so they can eat😭. you guys get the best lettuce and herbs for your guinea pigs. and yk they be eating good since they're a lil chunky. you and craig always chop up all the veggies and plate them up. in the end you guys are very responsible and loving parents.

whenever it's late at night and the stars are beautiful expect a message from craig saying: "MEET ME ON KROOFTOP RN STAQRS LOOOK PRETYYW😭" you meet up with craig so he can read astronomy books to you. BUT only when the stars are extra pretty. obviously craig owns all the astronomy books so he brings that and a flashlight! you on the other hand, you bring blankets and snacks! craig always reads while you just sit and listen. you never offer to read just so you can hear his voice more🤭. "astronyisaphenonminathathathasbeen-" "WOAH OWAH SLOW DOWN" you say. craig says, "it's not my fault im a smarter intellectual and faster reader than you🤓🤓🤓" (with sarcasm) you guys also look for constellations too! craigs house is the best place for constellation sighting. "isn't that the big chipper or something like that?" "no you dumbass it's the big dipper🙄" you always stay up on his roof top until the dawn of morning. so it's a bonus that you get to see the sunrise too. "the sunrise is so much more prettier than those stars" "get out of my house"

craig has a thing for lego's so he insists on inviting you whenever whenever the lego set he got was easy enough for you to build. if the set is advanced then he'll stick to building it himself and here's why. it was your first time building a lego set with craig. it was that big star wars starship model. it was all finished and craig was so proud he could cry. ohhh but he did cry whenever you dropped the starship model on the ground. "y/n get out" "OH SHIT S-SORRY CRAIG IM SORR-" "please y/n just get out" THAT BIG BABY DIDN'T WANT YOU TO SEE HIM CRY OVER PIECES OF PLASTICCCC. once he started crying you hugged him. I was walking back to squad 4 after healing some injuries of the men from the skirmish that happened yesterday. However, some idiots decided to block my path and try- keyword try- to flirt with me. Unfortunately, they weren't good men, they were men who thought I couldn't fight so I proved them wrong. Lurking in the shadows was the Captain of Squad 11, Zaraki Kenpachi, who loved the smell of bloodlust seeping from my aura. He too, wanted a fight, an honourable one.

The heat of the summer in the Seireitei was getting to me, and I was sweating my ass off. Tending to the wounds of those two-bit wannabe captain soul reapers had ruined my mood for the day. My captain, Unohana-sama, had stationed me in the barracks of Squad 11 to tend to the injuries of members who participated in the small skirmish that happened yesterday. It was definitely not fun, mostly due to the men ogling my appearance. Unlike most soul reapers, I did not wear a traditional Shihakushō with long sleeves; instead, it was cut short and covered my shoulders. I did wear a haori over it, but due to the summer, I opted not to today. I also had some buttons opened to let my body breathe. Most of the men who were staring me down were quickly shut down by a simple flex of my muscles; my biceps were not playing, and they were begging to be wrapped around someone’s neck to hear the crack.

Ugh, what was I thinking? If my captain heard my thoughts, she would definitely shut them down, reminding me that I am now a healer and no longer a warrior or even a scientist. I continued walking down the alley and saw a group of men approaching me. I rolled my eyes at their snickers and giggles—they sounded like a group of middle school girls around their crush.

"Hey squad 4 bitch!" One of them yelled out as they got closer.

I was now trapped by four men who were staring me down like I was a piece of meat. I arched my eyebrow and looked at them, beckoning him to continue.

"Women from Squad 4 seem to be very skilled with their hands; wanna prove that to me?" One of them said, his crooked teeth and unruly eyebrows made me want to gag, but out of professionalism, I kept my calm.

"Hey, bro, it would be easy to just bring her with us; it's not like she can fight back; she's just a healer." The other said this while smirking, while keeping his eyes on my breasts.

With a small smirk, I finally spoke up: "What makes you think we of the 4th squad can’t fight?"

"You are healers; you probably can't even punch for shit, hell even-"

I cut him off right there and sent a hard punch to his nose. He went flying back and caused the dirt to cloud around us.

"Can’t punch for shit eh? How's that?" I said, grinning at the pool of blood forming around him. "Maybe that ‘weak’ punch fixed your crooked ass teeth." I said, quoting the ‘weak’ part with my fingers.

"Why you little bitch!" One yelled out, lunging for my neck.

I was too proud to pull out my Zanpakuto, so I blocked him with my bare hands. The other two tried lunging at me while I was occupied with the first, but they failed due to my legs kicking back and twisting around them. I changed my stance to an offensive Melee-style fight. I focused my strength on hand-to-hand combat and lunged at the three. Luckily, the fourth one that I punched was knocked out, lying in a pool of his blood. I laughed at their pathetic excuse of a battle and immediately released some of my spiritual pressure, causing them to buckle and kneel at my mere presence.

I chuckled at their horrified expressions. "You call yourselves Squad 11 warriors? How disgraceful. Now if you wish to die by my hands, I would happily comply; if not, then get your sorry asses up and run while you can."

Not even a second passed, and the three picked up their knocked-out friend and ran for their meagre little lives. I noticed the lurking figure watching the battle in silence a while ago, but I didn't speak to him until now. I knew who it was—the captain of the 11th.

"How long are you going to stand there and gawk, Captain?" I said, smirking at his shadow. "How come you didn't stop your men from attacking a woman like me?"

"I was about to step in, but after that punch, I knew you got it. Who are you, woman? And why aren’t you in my squad if you are so strong?" He said this, stepping out from the shadows and standing in front of me.

"(Surname) (Name), Captain Unohana Retsu’s first line of defence, scientist, and ex-soldier." I said, holding my head high to meet his dark eyes that seemed to pool with desire—a desire for battle. I know that look because, back in the day, I had those same eyes.

"First line of defence? Ah, you must be that girl who was that weirdo’s researcher in squad 12." Captain Zaraki said, grinning.

"By weirdo, I'm assuming, Mayuri-sama. Yes, I was head of microbiology research." I answered.

"So a scientist, healer, and warrior, or ex-warrior? Why refer to yourself as that?"

"Captain Unohana said to leave my warrior mindset behind because I’m now a healer. The only time I can truly show myself is when the 4th Squad barracks are attacked. Since I'm the first line of defence, my job is to destroy the intruders and protect the people. Or, in certain instances like this, where I am surrounded by rapey-looking men," I answered, scowling at the thought of the peasants who dared to speak to me earlier.

Captain Zaraki hummed at my answer, acknowledging the logic behind it: "You have a cocky look to you, darling. Yet, you still hold respect to refer to people with proper dignity."

"I'm not a beast, sir." I give my respect to those who have earned it. And you have earned it with your battle prowess."

"Test that respect." He declared.

"Excuse me?" I was honestly puzzled by his statement.

"Fight me and test me to see if I deserve your respect. If I lose, you can call me as you like."

"I think it's highly inappropriate to fight a captain, and I'm not supposed to." I responded quickly, trying to persuade him.

"Fight me; it's an order, woman." He said it with a small growl.

"I know this isn't about respect; you want to fight me because you're bored."

He chuckled and said, "I live for battle, sweetheart, and I enjoy a good fight more than anything. And you are bringing some fun into this summer."

"Please, captain, this is highly unprofessional. I can’t-"

Before I could finish, she had already pulled his Zanpakuto out and swung it at me. Without missing a beat, I immediately ducked and went behind his large frame.

"Please sir! I can't break my rule. Unohana-sama will-"

"I’m attacking you, aren't I? You are not breaking any rules; you are defending yourself. Bring your sword out and fight me, woman!" He cut my pleading off and turned to swing at me again.

I pulled my Zanpakuto, Homura, out of its sheath and blocked his swing, grimacing at his brute strength.

He laughed maniacally: "There it is, darling, that look in your eyes! That bloodlust! Come on!"

"Tch, you are killing me here, Captain Zaraki!" I pushed him back with my sword and grinned at his shocked expression at my strength.

"Oh yes, I'm going to have so much fun with you!" He lunged back, grinning.

I manoeuvred my way around him, blocked his futile attempts, and cut some of his back and chest in the process. He was coming at me nonstop, and I was getting tired and sweating even more because of his great strength. So I decided to put an end to this fight. I pulled away and placed my sword horizontally in front of my face.

I let out a breath. "Kokoro O Moyase, Bankai: Homura Suryastra!"

Searing flames surrounded the blade and the area surrounding the attacker. Colours of red, orange, yellow, and blue burst from my aura. I immediately lunged at Captain Zaraki while he was busy looking at the beautiful flames. His guard was down, and I kicked the back of his knees very hard, punched his gut, and caused him to kneel. I asked Homura to relax the flames while I pointed the sword at his neck.

"Had enough Zaraki-taichou?" I teased, smirking at his kneeling form.

He looked up at me with blood spilling out of the corner of his mouth and said, "For now, yes, for life? Never. Oh, how I wish you were in my squad; I would never let you go."

My cheeks reddened either from the heat of my Bankai or from the words of the man panting and smiling at me.

"A deal is a deal. Speak my name without the honorifics; you deserve it." He praised her, standing up.

"But I can’t possibly—" I tried exclaiming before he cut me off with a sharp look.

"Okay, Kenpachi." I spoke his name softly, liking the way it felt on my tongue. "Please allow me to heal your cuts; it's the least I can do."

He nodded and ushered me to follow him to his private quarters.

I stood behind Kenpachi, stitching up one of the deeper cuts I made. I apologised to him earlier for cutting him up, but he said that he took his scars as memories of great battles. He urged me to only stitch him up so he could relish the experience of the fight.

I ran my fingers over the stitched-up wound and felt his chiselled back tense at my hands. I mumbled a quick apology and moved up and off the engawa to stand on the grass in front of us. I stood between his legs and found the gash on the left side of his chest. I grabbed the antiseptic and dabbed it on the cotton before placing it on the wound.

He hissed at the feeling and wrapped his large hand around my waist, pulling me closer to his chest. My hands were fisted, and they rested on his collar bones.

"Sorry, it always burns." He groaned.

"It's alright; I don't quite like the feeling either."

He didn't push me back or remove his hand from my waist; he just waited for me to continue. So I did. I pressed the cotton again, and he winced at the burning sensation, squeezing my waist slightly. To console him, I bent down and blew some air at the burning wound. His muscles relaxed, and I started stitching him up once more.

A gentle silence blessed our presence, and I sighed, "You're all good, Kenpachi."

He hummed and removed his hand from my waist. "(Name), what do you feel when you fight?" He randomly asked, trying to entice a conversation. He removed his strapless eyepatch with a grey border and awaited my answer.

My cheeks slightly reddened at the use of my name: "Umm. I would say it was a thrill. Like a rush of adrenaline and pleasure. I always win. So it's an absolute blast watching them fall to their failure."

He shifted his eyes around my face and did not respond to my question. I met his eyes, and I saw a familiar look. The look of desire. But not the one that I saw when we fought. No. This one was different.

"Kenpachi? What’s wro-" My question was shut off.

His large hands wrapped around my neck gently and pulled me to his level. His warm lips met mine, and my eyes widened at the sudden action.

I pulled back and said, "Kenpachi, this isn't right!"

He smirked and yanked my arm to pull me forward. His arms grasped the back of my knees and wrapped my legs around his toned waist. I gasped at this movement and looked at him.

"Why is it not right?" He asked, smirking slightly.
