I know that we are excited about this collab, but there is a genocide happening right before our eyes. We cannot support something that supports these atrocities. The boys will be fine. BOYCOTT.

"finding out coca-cola is responsible for why most water in Mexico (especially in Chiapas) isn't even safe to brush your teeth with let alone drink, that it has full monopoly over water sources in the country and bottles it to sell it to people instead of it being free" [source: @ land2thetiller on X, formerly known as Twitter. 12/04/23.]

Do you have boycott fatigue?
Well guess who else dose, McDonald’s, Starbucks, Coca Cola, Israel and all those who support it!
We are making progress, they might pretend we aren’t, but we are!
Keep boycotting, because it’s working!

"we cannot let this become normal," that requires a level of action. It requires you AT LEAST to speak about the thing when people try to ignore it. It requires that you STOP TREATING IT LIKE NORMAL.

Is coka cola on the boycott list?
Coca cola is not specifically on the list for targeted bds movement strategies right now, but it is a terrible company -I would argue it's one of the most evil corporations in the world, and it shouldn't be overlooked. The company has been dehydrating communities and destroying local agriculture where their factories are in order to feed their own plants (parts of Mexico is one example I can think of right now). It has also violated workers' rights in multiple countries (and has been guilty of child labour in 'sugar fields.') -Colombia, Guatemala, Indonesia, El Salvador, and The Philippines are a few places I'm thinking of right now that have been impacted. This is an older article but it covers some of these issues.
A lot of 'research,' done was early 2000s, and it's hard to find updated information about their current hyper-exploitation practices and human rights violations against workers and against the people of the communities they are impacting. There are a few, but I have no doubt these practices continue and go under the radar because they're a multi-billion dollar corportation.
So I'd say don't support Coca Cola.
