Hello0o! I'd like to get to know you more so here's an ask: What's something you're really passionate about and why? :>
I have a very passionate personality, so most things, but none more than church vestments!!!
to most people, vestments are like altar servers - they only get noticed if there's something egregiously wrong with them. but to me, they're the first thing I notice when the priest walks out, and I watch them throughout the Mass.
which vestments a priest chooses are very important, as the priest is dressing God in the Mass, not himself, and God should be given the highest dignity. every layer of the Mass set has different and compounding symbolism, and there are rich prayers that come with putting on every single piece.
I have personally noticed a trend, too, that the priests who care about how their vestments look care more about other parts of the Mass not only looking good but being good too. they are more likely to ensure everything is done correctly and said with love and faith, and generally they will be more reverent and deliberate with all their actions.
there are so many different styles from various locales and eras, and the symbols that are used in everything from the brocade to the emblem represent something, represent everything.
I care so so deeply about church vestments. so much.

These imaginary islets are based on the Borromean Islands with somewhat Venetian architecture. The last one is the most imaginative.

Isola Bella, Italy
Tumblr media
The picturesque lake in today’s image is Isola Bella, which translates to Beautiful Island, one of the Borromean Islands on Lake Maggiore in the north of Italy. The island is one of Italy’s national treasures, a favourite visitor attraction famous for its 17th-century Baroque palace and extensive Italian-style gardens which span ten terraces. Isola Bella is an obvious choice if visiting the Borromean Islands, and not to be missed if you want unparalleled views of the lake and its surroundings.
The island was the project and passion of the Borromeo family, who launched the grandiose project that led to the creation of the Palazzo Borromeo and the manicured gardens filled with statues, water features and grand flower arrangements. What started as an island inhabited by fishermen, with just two small churches and a few vegetable plots, transformed over 400 years into the breathtaking island we know today. Visitors can explore many parts of the opulent interior of the palace, which are a stark contrast to the narrow, cobbled streets of the island’s village.

Everything works in a loop. From the universe, down to the core of the earth, everything is connected like a loop. Look at this picture:
Tumblr media
This is how I see everything. When you cut one of the circles, all three would seperate. That's common sense, but when it comes to someone's life, why is not seen the same?
This is a confusing question. I'm not good with explaining and presenting things. But — I know you have a feeling that this is something you know, yet can not answer.
I wish for someone to prove me wrong.
