i think the thing love about bob and linda is that they’re not like every other married couple. they’re not overly romantic, but they’re also not not romantic. they have silly little nicknames for each other and they’re more like best friends/soulmates and i love that

I have to believe that once Bob went to that drawing class, he actually loved it and doodles all the time (often drawings of whatever food he's made that day.)

When the kids are all out, there's no question in my mind he draws Linda nude. And every time, Linda asks him to "draw her like one of his french girls". Bob chuckles, has her lie down, puts on some Donna Summer and sketches his beautiful nude wife.

I think it’s Seaplane! Season 4 episode 3.

Kurt is such a slime ball (it’s funny my husbands name is Kurt and he’s the best human 🤣) and so funny trying to flirt with Linda and Linda has no idea for so long and then she’s appalled 🤣 like there’s no flattery or any interest at all, she is so loyal to her marriage and family. And I like Fischoeder popping in at random to create chaos 🤣

I love them so much

nah cause what i love about bobs burgers and the belcher family is how they love each other- and it's not like other sitcoms where it takes big out of the ordinary emotional scenes to admit it, but it's just so built into the characters and the family that it feels super real. Bob isn't the usual exasperated Dad that you usually see, he loves Linda's antics even when he doesn't understand, and he supports her even when she's annoying the hell out of him. Linda isn't the common Nagging Ball and Chain wife, she's super fun loving and it feels like you laugh WITH her rather than at her most of the time- she and bob work as partners with each other. the belcher family don't love each other despite their respective flaws, but rather including them, and i just love them a whole lot

For everyone who doesn’t like Wednesday because they wanted it to be like the original Addams Family where the conflict is outside the family rather than within, I beg you to watch Bobs Burgers.

- has a sarcastic and maliciously revenge seeking little sister (who coincidentally also has two pigtails)

- family loves each other so much the network told the writers they needed to make the characters fight more

- some episodes are musicals for no reason

- one of the restaurant regulars is an Uncle Fester type named Teddy

- the conflicts go from “Bob has anxiety, he can’t flip burgers now” to “the kids are reenacting an elephant and Tom Edison love story musical with pyrotechnics to spite a substitute”

- the teen daughter Tina is some of the best representation for what being a 13 year old is really like

- the voice acting? Phenomenal, Hilarious

- has some Queer rep (the Dad is canonically bisexual, the middle child frequently cross dresses and subtext suggests he could be gender-fluid/nb, there is a trans woman of color named Marshmellow)

And while Bobs Burgers admittedly lacks the macabre aesthetic and dark humor which is part of what makes the strangely positive family dynamic so entertaining, I think it still makes a good piece of media for people craving that Addams family dynamic. If you’re looking to replace Wednesday or the Addams Family, Bobs Burgers isn’t going to be anywhere close to what you’re looking for. But if you wanna see another show where the family actually likes each other it’s a great one!
