I know this is a blemplat zone but like thoughts on Platinum and Margaret? Not as a ship hut just maybe like. Their dynamic if BlemPlat was happening? It's always fascinated me

i know my interest skews/friend feeding brainworms show plenty but i'm actually pretty open to exploring multiple character relationships, hrhrhr. It's mainly just people don't ask for it from me (and now you have!)... but I digress XD

to me i think it's amusing about how canonically they definitely fought but also no tension is mentioned between Margaret and Centaurea unlike Maria and the Pinus folk. I do interpret this as a sort of... sign of the faith Margaret has in Rhodes Island, trusting in either the Doctor to prevent harm between the factions, or that Plat's found a place where she has no reason to be considered a threat or consider being one... it's good.

That said if Maria did come up to her to say 'hey I'm dating the lady who tried to kill me before' I think Marg would be surprised but move to congratulate her, let her know if she needs support she'll be there, very supportive sister, you know? And maybe only to Shining and Nightingale express any sort of melancholy over, not the relationship but... what their station and visibility demands, how the tower of Kazimierz might make a meal of such news.

Might have a talk to Plat too (Plat def thinking 'am I dead now') about that as well, since Plat probably is a bit Too Insightful to also not know the risks that come with such exposure that keeps Kazimierz' social engines going. They both already know in such a situation Platinum would've def thought through what it would be to have a relationship with the Nearls.

Marg'd would double down on working to break up Kazimierz' stagnancy. I could see that.

What's the most toxic relationship the fandom has dreamed up and why is FiaMos so popular. Two questions in one ask sorry they're completely totally unrelated.

I'll tackle the second part first. The flippant answer is that they're two women who have interacted onscreen, which obviously means they're in lesbians with each other. The serious answer is... basically the flippant one. Sapphic ships are very popular in the Arknights community, even outside tumblr, for a lot of reasons, not limited to the fact that the straight guys this game is predominantly made for and marketed toward like jacking off to conventionally attractive women kissing and the dearth of male characters that get meaningful interactions with female characters that could give rise to shipping (unironically what het ships even exist in this game), and Mostima is one of like two women Fiammetta had even had meaningful interactions with. Mostima got a head start on any other possible fanon love interest by getting scenes with Fiammetta in Code of Brawl, and since this game runs 819 plot threads at once and takes years to follow up on any of them, the gap between Code of Brawl and Guide Ahead gave the fanbase time to extrapolate a fanon dynamic between the two of them that solidified through the presentation of fanfic, fanart, and other content. The fanon dynamic was so ingrained by the time Guide Ahead released that the fandom at large didn't bother correcting for the new information Guide Ahead gave us and just kept moving ahead as if oversaturated fanon was textual canon.

As for the first part, I don't fuckin know. What kind of toxic are we talking about here? The worst crackships dreamed up for shits and giggles? Stuff designed for shock value? The most toxic ship that the fanbase presents as uwu cute and good, actually? The most toxic ship that the fandom finds fascinating to explore because of its toxicity? The ones I personally find most noxious? Are we specifically discussing the ones the fanbase has created out of whole cloth, vs the ones that have some level of canon support? I'll just give you a list of ships that fall into one or more of these categories. Y'all figure out which is which
