I was in the throne room, among the lesser court, in disguise. I saw you as well, in your falcon mask; I did not realize you had been hunting for the Queen. I see she was afraid they know I am here, among the Seelie, and that they sought me; it was clear to me they know nothing. Certainly they do not know what is to come.

You ask why I went: I was curious, and recalled them from Thule. And I wondered if she would be with them, but she was not. It was a peculiar magic drew her to me, and I wonder at it still, but you need not worry there is sentiment attached to my musings; the Nephilim interest me, perhaps all the more so because they do not understand that they are doomed. Reasons why TSC Fans are looking forward to TWP

KitTy, obviously.

Dru, Ash and Jaime dynamic. I bet there's going to a lot of heavy stuff with them, both boys crushing on 1 girl. Dru, you go, girl!

I also heard that people want to learn more of other Shadowhunter families other than the main 5, that is to say, Herondales, Blackthorns, Carstairs, Fairchilds and Lightwoods. In TWP, we'll learn about a Brazilian family, Pedroso (from Dru's friend at the Academy, Thais Pedroso) and an Indian family, Joshi (from Ty's friend at the Scholomance, Anush Joshi). Variety!

Finally, a non-evil Morgenstern (I'm talking Ash here)! The only other good Morgenstern that we have is Clary, and she doesn't even take up the name, choosing to stick to Clarissa Fairchild. It's time the Morgenstern name was cleared.

We never got to hear what happened to Kit and Simon from Thule. Also, Mark and Kieran from Thule might still be alive, because of the protection of The Wild Hunt. We also have a live Cristina, and a live Livvy Blackthorn. One can only guess what happened to Simon and Kit. Comment if you have any ideas or theories cuz I only have one and I got it from another post.

We also have so many loose ends, like the Cohort, Janus, the Fey, Thule, the Princes of Hell, Mother Hawthorn... It'll all get cleared up in TWP. Sorry I can't elaborate, because I have no idea what could be done about these!

Our main heroes, Dru and Ty and Kit, are going to be so powerful! I'm taking a wild guess when I say that they'll probably have powers extra to what they already have as Shadowhunters, but this is just guessing. No doubt about one thing though, they're going to be the Big Three in TWP.

And then there's Lucifer, the big daddy of demons and all problems in general. In a post that I reblogged, there was a theory that says that Alec survived the Svefnthorn because of Lucifer, and that somehow it would give Lucifer control over Alec.

Unpopular opinions about TSC

This isn’t particularly unpopular but I don’t like Jace. Sorry to Jace fans. I was mainly neutral about him my first time reading TMI but I recently came across anti Jace posts and then reread TMI and started not liking him. I guess it makes sense that he started out as Draco Malfoy (in a fan fiction). TDA Jace was superior tho, but that's probably just because he's not the main character.

Lucie Herondale deserved better. Like, she is such an interesting character and her powers (to me) were more interesting than James. Also, she was Cordelia’s parabatai sos he deserved more time in the book.

The main couples were pretty boring (this might just be me because I get that with basically everything). Sorry but I already know that they are going to end up together and I’ve already seen so much of them, I just want to see the other characters.

The sibling relationships are so unrelatable. The ones that remind me of my siblings the most are Ty and Mark at the start of TDA (I too would throw a wooden dagger at my brother) and Thomas, Barbara (RIP Queen 👑) and Eugenia (Saying this as a middle child with an older sister and a younger brother).

This isn’t actually an opinion but after reading TMI I was pronouncing parabatai as ‘Paba-ra-ti’ and I could not understand parabatai jokes for ages 😭

I don't like the Shadowhunter show. I don't actually feel as strongly about this as I do in other opinions because it feels so different from the books. It has it's good moments but it all feels weird because Raphael is aroace in the books and he's such special character to me.

I did not care about Christopher's death. I feel so bad about it but I just think he is a poorly written character with a poorly written death. The protagonists did not care about him (by protagonists I mean James and Matthew) and everyone's reactions were so underwhelming. It just felt more like CC wanted a heart-breaking death than an interesting character and there was no point in him dying.

I honestly think that Kit leaving with Jem and Tessa was the best decision he could make.

Hear me out

If he stayed in LA with the Blackthorns, those who would take care of him and the rest of the kids would be Helen and Aline. We all know that they extremely love their family, but they're not very good at emotional support in my opinion.

Like, Helen would not understand Dru, couldn't talk to her normally and we all know that Kit and Ty are 15 so they seem like they are "grown up" and don't need to be taken care of. Which is WRONG!!!

Kit is a kid who lost everything in a day and for his whole life his father neglected him, Kit knew that Johnny didn't love him (personally I think he did in his own way but couldn't show it) and he had literally no one else left. Then he met Ty and Livvy, who were everything to him. Livvy died and I'm sure it hit Kit harder than we think and he SHOULD talk about it with someone.

So, the only person left for him was Ty

Now imagine if he stayed ( if non of that resurrection stuff happen) Kit would stick to Ty and only spend time with him or Dru. But this kid NEEDS parents who would actually talk with him and understand him.

Maybe Helen and Aline would try but he would absolutely not open up to them. They also said they wanted their own kids, so it would be even more complicated to take care of them all. And maybe he would talk with Julian or Emma but they have their own life, the Blackthorn Hall stuff and they wanted time for themselves (which is totally normal and fine) so Kit would be left in this situation where he has no actual parent figure.

And when Ty and Dru are perfectly fine people to talk to about his emotions, parental support is a totally different thing.

While living with Jessa and Mina, we can see (in gotsm) that they are just there for him in any kind of situation and love him deeply, give him space, understand him and try their best to be his parents. They also gave him a little sister - a baby, that he knew since she was born and he can take care of her. He actually feels like he's a part of this family, not an extra piece.

I'm so incredibly happy for him, because he will learn how it is to have real healthy relationships and feel all the love and support.

I'm not saying the Blackthorns would be a bad family, Jessa's is just a better one that would bring the best out of Kit.

i want to see moments from when the blackthorns were younger (pre endarkened) and their family dynamic and nice moments. mark being an angsty teenager annoyed with his younger siblings and ty driving them crazy bringing animals home. julian and emma joint at the hip as little kids and an ever exasperated helen trying to keep all her little siblings in a line, their loving father

i also want to see some of the years between tmi and tda where julian learns to take care of the kids. i need it so bad. i want it. i want to watch their dynamic grow and change. i want to watch them find a way to be a family again and just see all the small moments

Do you guys wonder what Kit and Ty’s first proper, one-on-one conversation will be about?

Like, it could be about family, and how hard it is keeping things from them and how terrible they both feel about doing that.

It could be about their friendship; what they miss about each other, how they view each other and what news and little bits of information (things that are actually big bits but they don’t want to be ‘annoying’) they have missed while they were apart.

It could be about Kit’s confession and his decision to move away.
