This weekend I needed to unplug. I needed to take a step back and really listen to my body and mind. In this transitional time I've grown so accustomed to being busy that I forgot the importance of standing still. I looked at my wall this morning after some heartfelt talks with @sharodgoodman and reminded myself why I chose these phrases to surround me while I work. I chose the word BELIEVE with this image to remind myself to believe not only in myself but the path God has chosen for me. To embrace walking a path others may doubt or dislike when I know it is right for me. I chose the phrase TRUST UR GUT because there will always be times when I am uncertain or uncomfortable and I have to close my eyes and just listen to that voice inside that tells me what to do. You may find in these times when chaos is king that you start to doubt yourself, your abilities or your path. You may find yourself saying, "I can't ", but know that you already possess everything you need to be great if only you TRUST and BELIEVE in yourself. I'm starting off the weekend planning out the week ahead and I'm wondering how I can best protect myself from this virus. It's safe to say I'm a bit apprehensive about leaving the house unless it's absolutely necessary like going to work or gym. I am very mindful to take precautions while out and about in these Toronto streets. I have been wanting to go to the grocery store to get almond milk, avocado, veggie, fruits and turkey bacon but I hear the line up are crazy at ant given grocery stores so that's not an option. I believe that life present us with new opportunities each day, by us being alive and well.
