A Teacher
Imagine staying in Wakanda to monitor Bucky’s progress and T’Challa teaching you to fight.
Warnings?: Black Panther spoliers, Slight Civil War Spoliers
A/N: I just saw Black Panther and, not gonna lie, I love T’Challa so I came up with this. I tried to write good but my writing level is slowly decreasing, but either way, I hope you all enjoy ~Breezy

You were apart of the Avengers but you weren’t exactly apart of the fighting. You called yourself their official medic, so you didn’t see much action that was until the events of Civil War happened. There was no avoiding the fact that there was a fight going on and that there was nowhere you could hide.
Before the fight Steve had pulled you aside and taught you a few basic things, mainly to defend yourself but, even you knew, that wasn’t going to be enough to fight off the very skilled and talented fighters but you knew you had to. Though you didn’t fight for the Avengers didn’t mean that you wouldn’t be effected by the accords. The other Avengers had no idea you were standing by Steve but that was probley for the best.
After much waiting, the time had come, the battle that no one particularly wanted to fight. You stood in the back of the line up, Wanda stood ahead of you, your friends promising you that you would not have to fight anyone and that they would protect you. You didn’t believe them.
“You even brought (Y/N) into this!?” Tony yelled as the two spoke, clearly they were not happy to see you in this situation,
“He didn’t bring me into anything,” you began, “I wanted to do this,” no other words where said, it was quiet. You knew what was next.
The battle raged, all of your friends fighting each other, you spent most of the battle hiding, you didn’t want to but they were so much more skilled then you. Looking around, you snuck through the battle to the helicopter hanger to prep for Steve and Bucky to escape. You watched from the window as the two came running, a man in black followed though, much to your surprise, Natasha stepped in to help them.
It had been only a few days since the whole Civil War incident. Bucky had insisted on being frozen again, until the time came that they could fully clear his mind. Steve didn’t want to leave his friend, even if he was frozen, so to ease his mind you decided to stay. You idea was to monitor how he was doing, but T’Challa’s sister, Shuri, quickly took over that.
When you arrived in Wakanda, you were very surprised how well developed they were. They had many technological advances, it was incredible! Shuri had shown you everything, even though you were considered an outsider to the people of Wakanda, she seemed to take a liking to you. She instantly became your best friend.  You had also been introduced to T’Challa, the prince and soon to be King. You came to learn the he was very kind and it was clear that he cared dearly for his people.
Today was no different then any other, you went to visit Bucky and take notes on how he’s progressing.
“You are up early.” a voice snapped you from your thoughts,
“Prince T’Challa,” you say with a small smile, “Yes it is fairly early, I guess I couldn’t sleep.” you state with a shrug as you jotted down some notes. He let out a low chuckle.
“What do you plan to do today?” he asked you; this caught you off guard.
“I haven’t really thought about it,” you say, “Why do you ask?” you ask as you look at him. He chuckled,
“I remember when I first saw you,” he began, “During the whole ‘battle’ between your friends. I saw you there hiding in the shadows.” you nodded slightly,
“You’re right, I wanted to stand for what I believed in but I don’t know how to fight. It was never important.” you said as you looked at him, “As the medic, I never saw much combat.” he nodded as he stood proud, as he always did.
“Would you like to learn?” you were frozen in place, he wanted to teach you to fight?
“Really?” you ask, your eyes bright and full of interest; he nodded. “I would like that a lot.”
From that day forward, every morning T’Challa took you somewhere to train. That was until the day he had to go away for a mission. You every day schedule changed again, you spent more time in the lab with Shuri.
“So you like my brother?” her question made you stop what you were doing, you turned to look at her,
“What gave you that idea?” you question, she laughed,
“You’re not hiding it very well, neither in he.” a blush formed on your cheeks causing her to laugh again,
“So you do!” you nervously laughed,
“Please don’t tell him,” you beg, she nodded slightly,
“Your secret is safe with me...”
You had never seen anything like it, you were dressed in traditional clothing as you stood with Shuri to watch T’Challa become king. There were so many people here to celebrate, it was unbelievable. They all chanted, and cheered as he arrived. He was painted with body paint, he held his weapon and shield. He was looking for a challenger, and he got one.
M’Baku, of the Jabari tribe stepped forward, he wanted the crown. You watched as they fought, he was graceful and you thought it made him look a lot more attractive... You couldn’t stand to see him get hurt... When he nearly lost the fight you heart almost dropped. You chanted with the other to cheer him on, though you weren’t apart of their group you almost felt as though you were apart of it.
The whole ceremony was something you had never imagined, it was beautiful. When everything ended you left him with his family while you went to your room. It surprised you that he had visited you a few minutes later,
“That was a beautiful ceremony.” you stated to him, he smiled,
“I am glad that you enjoyed it.”
“You’re an amazing fighter. Maybe someday I will be that good.” you say; he nodded,
“You will be.”
“If you continue to be my teacher then I will be.”
