Hiya Vilandel! Of course you may! This fic is very, very fluffy and is just a small drabble showing the two “working” together for the first time, and I hope you enjoy 🥰!

“ Nozel? What are you doing down here?” Acier asked curiously as she looked underneath her desk.
Sitting there, with papers and books around him, was her young son Nozel. He looked up from the papers and smiled at his mom.
“ I’m helping you!” Acier tilted her head.
“ You’re helping me?” She repeated with a small smile, kneeling down on the ground beside him.
“ Mhm! You’re always really busy with work, so I thought maybe I could help you so we can play more,” He told her sheepishly as he looked back down at all the paper, Acier smiled sadly before reaching out to pat her son's head.
Hearing him say that he wanted to help her so they could play more broke Acier’s heart. She thought she had been balancing her work and family life really well; but it seems that she was very mistaken. The last thing she had ever wanted to do was make her children feel like they were ‘second’ to her job as Captain…
“ But all of this work is so hard~,” Nozel whined as he looked back up at his mother. “ I don’t understand what any of this is saying, and there’s so many papers and books I need to read. It’s all just really hard!”
“ You must be really, really smart to be able to do all of this, mom!” He exclaimed with a smile, his face beaming with pride. She blinked in surprise.
“ I…wouldn’t go that far-,” She began sheepishly, but he quickly shook his head.
“ But you are! I don’t think there’s anyone else in the world that could do this,” Nozel began, his tone still excited but holding a serious edge to them. “ I hope I’m half as smart as you when I become Captain someday!”
Acier, once again, was taken aback by her sons words.
“ You want to become Captain of the Silver Eagles?” She asked, her voice full of surprise.
Nozel nodded firmly.
“ I do! When I grow up, I want to be a Magic Knight Captain, just like you!” He announced proudly.
For a moment, she just stared at him in bewilderment. His eyes were full of emotion; pride, excitement, passion, love, and determination. All the same emotions she remembered herself having when she had finally decided on becoming a Magic Knight.
She immediately pulled Nozel into her arms and hugged him tightly.
“ M-Mom?” Nozel stammered in confusion, it wasn’t unusual for his mother to hug him without warning, but this time felt…different somehow.
What Nozel didn’t know was that he was one of the only people in Acier’s life to have ever been proud of her. Her family fully expected her to reach the heights she did, and her husbands family only saw her achievements as a way to boost their own family’s interests. But none of them had ever once said, or even shown, how proud they were of her.
And Nozel telling her how much he admired her and showing her how proud he was of her…just warmed her heart and made it light up in joy.
After Acier pulled away she softly apologized to her son, saying that she had just gotten carried away due to how proud of him she was. She then proposed an idea: the two of them would work on the paperwork together as part of his ‘Magic Knight Training’, and once they were done they would take the day off and go play.
Nozel quickly agreed, and Acier made him a steel desk, gave him a few pieces of paper, and the two did “paperwork” together.

Random Headcanon I ♣️
For some mysterious reasons, Acier Silva always had soft spots for names starting with N. One of the reasons why three of her children got names with that letter. Solid is the exception, because his birth had been difficult and Acier was exhausted, so Papa Silva got a shot, calling the baby Solid. Not Aciers first choice of course, but of course it never stopped her to love Solid as much as her other children. Sometimes, she said that his name was a hint about how her love for her children was.
Back to the N names, Acier had a whole list about names with that letter. Nozel, Nebra, Solid and Noelle found it one day, which lead them in the future to choose one N name for at least one of their future children. In their mind, giving one of their future respective children a name starting with N was another way to honor their mother. So, within the next Silva generation, for of them have a name starting with N (Nymphea, Nozels oldest daughter - Nebel, one of Nebras quadruplets, a boy - Nanthilde, Solids daughter - Nemo, Noelles youngest son).

Nozel, Nebra and Solid spend a good chunk of this chapter in misery but we get no emotional development on house Silvas dysfunctional proceedings of 2 decades
SHES TALKING SHIT LIKE IF SOLID AND NEBRA WERENT SO PREJUDICED AND HATEFUL, THEYD BE STRONGER
GIRL YOU ARE FIGHTING YOUR KIDS, OF COURSE THEY CANT FIGHT PROPERLY.
NOELLE IS HERE??? SHES NOT WITH THE BULLS??? OKAY
WHERE IS THE FUCKEN TALK ABOUT THE WHOLE CLAN OUTCASTING NOELLE. ACIER SAYS THEYRE LIKE TWO PEAS IN A POD AND IM LIKE NO YOU AINT???
Noelle is grieving Asta but relents to protect the kingdom because he may still be alive and she has to protect the kingdom for him. Translation may be a bit wobbly from twitter but that is. A very mid way of development.
Like Noelle was so good as a character in the beginning but with the pacing and packed sardine developments it feels like a LOT of her character development is entirely around Asta and Acier and it's not!!! It ain't slaying tabata!!!
THE ONLY GOOD THING IN THIS CHAPTER, KAHONO BACK FROM THE FRIDGE
Apparently tensions at the Sea Temple is at an all time high because SOMEONE decided to bring the apocalypse and the Sea God (Kaijin) apparently has lore around him that when he awakens, the end of the world comes. Problem is Kaijin and the rest of the Temple don't want him to go berserk but undo that they need to find an excellent water mage to help reel him in

THE ARMOR LOOKS THICKER AND THEN ITS JUST NOT THERE IN THE VITAL PARTS!!! TABATA, GIRLIE!!!
My biggest hope is that later in the volume, the midriff or the boob window is edited out but considering how this is from a 1 month hiatus, my expectations keep going lower.

The heart shattering realization that Acier died but she at least got to be there for Noelle's first birthday.
The curse made her too weak to hold her baby daughter or even sit up, so Acier had to lay on her bed with Noelle curled up next to her. She stroked little Noelle's cheek and smiled, knowing that Noelle was healthy and strong. She sang a gentle lullaby when Noelle woke and cried in a fuss. She gave her baby girl as many kisses as she possibly could give. Let Noelle curl her too small hand around one of Acier's fingers in a search for comfort. Acier loved Noelle with what little strength she had left in her.
Because Acier knew her time was short. She knew that she wouldn't be able to see Noelle grow up.
After soothing Noelle to sleep that night, Acier looked upon her infant daughter. A sad smile on her face.
"Happy birthday, my little Noelle. Mama wants you to know that you're loved, so very much. I hope every birthday you have after this is even happier than the last."
Acier gave Noelle one last kiss goodnight.
Her one wish for Noelle was for her to have all the happiness in the world.
