Seeking Volunteers

If anyone in the Louisville-Shively area has the means of transportation, we need somebody to kind of keep an eye on any trucks, cans, or dumpsters out back of Jim's Wholesale. Seeing as this asshole can't sell the random parts that he kept just so @sweetsugarpain wouldn't be able to put back together his most distinctive and treasured dolls, we're concerned he might hide or dispose of those parts in advance of the warrant being served. Sweet was headed out that way but their car broke down because why would anything go right at this point :/

So we need a little help with surveillance so this guy doesn't get away with this. The cops know to check the trash and the rear in general, but we'll just feel better if we can get reliable civilian eyes on their backlot too.

Had my first bjd meet up yesterday afternoon!!! It was just two of us but we had a blast!

My friend brought her very large SD Angelphilia and Fairyland Feeple girls in the back of the group as well as her gorgeous Lilycat Poulpy in green resin!

I brought Horus (Dream Valley Rah), Calypso (SleepySheepyDreams Puff + Doll Leaves Hybrid), Milo (Doll Leaves Louis), Anubis (Modded Dream Valley Glen) and my Frappzilla Blooms: Caspian (White), Astrophel (Black and Gold) and Brier and Fleur (Purple)

Compared to her Fairyland Feeple girl, Horus is so tiny 🥲:

He's so used to being the tallest among my collection and he's met his match 🤣

Amazing people still exist in this hobby. Someone reached out to me on DOA after I posted in a thread that I wanted to get all of my dolls dressed this year, and they generously offered to just send me some stuff. Another kind soul in the hobby gave me an amazing piece she had handmade just because I supported her work. I also just watched a bunch of people come together for a raffle to support someone's family. Good things DO exist here!!!!

I wanted to share a little gallery of his process. His wig arrived today and, after fighting with it I managed to do an okay-ish job.

He is a Volks YoSD Chika (Dollpa 23, 2009) and I did his face-up using Munitorum Varnish, Mr Hobby Thinner, Rambrandt oil free pastels, liquitex acrylic gouache and tamiya X-22.

Great improvement in his face-up details by using nail art brushes! 100% recommended

Hey, a question for anyone who uses Mr Super Clear

I recently got a can of MSC and I'm very scared of using it. I haven't even opend the package it came in. I've been looking up a bunch of safety precautions too. Can anyone tell me what mask you use and where you store it in your house. I just want to make sure

We have hit the target amount, and @sweetsugarpain​ & partner will be going to the fence’s storefront first thing tomorrow. (They actually went today and the guy was like “Oh shit I didn’t think you’d be able to swing that much, everything’s still everywhere.” So they’re going tomorrow at which point this dude will have things in boxes or they’re doing it themselves. Don’t worry, he has not been given any money yet and will not be until the exchange is made.) We do ask that nobody try to jump the gun as it concerns moving against this guy as an ebay seller. There will be a time for that, but with the way he’s reacted to my interference in his listings alone, that time needs to be after the dolls are safely back with their owner. Thank everyone who donated, shared, helped with the search, pointed us to this guy, everything. We’ve been truly blown away by the kind support of this community, this has been an unimaginable chain of events every step of the way, but this is the first time something has been unimaginably good, and that’s down to all of you. There are no words to express how grateful all three of us are to this community.

Y’all are amazing, every single one of you. Thank you so much, and again, we just ask that you please wait until he has his dolls in hand to take action against the fence. We can’t risk any fuckery on this guy’s part between now and 10 am tomorrow.
