Hellooo, hope you're doing alright!! I wanted to check in and ask if you think Bez and Cele in the kidfic universe would go to a Christmas market?
Either pre relationship with Bez's hands being cold and Cele warming them up? Or post getting together when Matteo is walking with both of them holding one of his hands? Or mix it all together and Teo is the one with cold hands and needs both of them close to him and each other?
Thanks in advance, and don't feel pressured!!! <3
Bestie, babe, I HAVE thought about this, I think Xmas time can have such potential for a kidfic AU. And of course this is no different.
At first I was going to answer this with a series of thoughts and ideas about what could happen, but then it started growing and growing. So I went for a blurb... that also grew and ended up being 2.5k words.
But, merry christmas and happy holidays, there you go, enjoy this unbetaed mess (and as always thanks to @dobbiamo-capire for helping me keep it italian enough)
....
Marco stops for a second in his walk down the building stairs, Matteo in his arms, his eyes drifting to Cele's closed door a little ways down the hallway. They haven't seen each other quite as much, and Matteo has started asking about him. Well, more than usual. He wonders if they should walk up to the door and knock, but what would he say? 'Hey, Teo has been asking about you, and I also miss you a lot'. So instead he just keeps walking down, Cele is probably studying for his exams.
Marco had asked for the day off at work so they could go walk around the Christmas market a week ago. But the mechanic shop was very busy with people wanting to make sure their car was ready for long trips home or up the mountains for the holidays. So it took a bit, but finally, they are on their way to spend a whole day walking around.
When they get to the street, Marco lowers Teo to the ground. He readjusts the backpack on his shoulders, full of juice packs, sandwiches, and some of Teo's favorite snacks, and drops to one knee in front of his kid.
"You have to put on your hat, Teo," he says, reaching for the lump of knit fabric in Matteo's hands.
"I don't like it, papà!"
"It's cold, and your ears will fall off if you don't use it," he says, tugging one of his small ears, prompting a giggle out of Teo. Then he brushes Teo's curls back to make sure they don't get in his eyes when he puts the hat on, tying the little ear covers under his chin and fluffing his scarf so his cheeks get some coverage from the chilly wind too. "How excited are you for the market?"
Matteo throws his arm open and his hands as far apart as he can stretch them. "This much!"
"Wow, that's a lot."
Marco stands up again, offering his hand for Matteo to grab onto, and they start walking slowly towards the city center. His little gloved hand in Marco's big one makes him smile, excited to see him enjoy the holiday spirit that covers the city.
…………………
They reach the market twenty minutes and a juice pack later. It's filled with people chatting and laughing, looking at the stands offering anything from sweets to Christmas decorations, and Matteo seems to fill back up with energy at the sight of it all, pulling on Marco's hand to go to the closest stall and look at the wooden toys in it.
Every vendor is nice, and the whole square smells of wood and spices. An old man with gray hair, big round glasses, and an apron with a chocolate bar printed on it gives Matteo a little chocolate candy for free, and that makes sure his smile stays firmly in his face while they walk between wooden stalls.
Marco recognizes one of the girls tending the coffee stand, she had brought her car to his job to get a bump fixed not long ago, and she strikes up a conversation while still helping customers, which is quite impressive if you ask him. She's telling him how she can't go back home this year when he feels Matteo pulling his hand insistently. He looks down to see him pointing somewhere in the distance, throwing an apologetic smile at the girl.
"Papà, look, 'ele!"
Marco's eyes snap up immediately, looking towards where Teo is pointing. Between the rows of people having a good time, he can see the archway that serves as an entry to the ice rink, and next to it, in another of the wooden winter stalls, there's Cele. If Matteo hadn't pointed him out, it could have taken Marco a second to realize it was him, his long black curls hidden by his hat. But it's clearly him. Matteo tugs at his hand again.
"C'mon, papà, let's go see 'ele."
Marco smiles at him again, letting himself get dragged away from the coffee stall. He turns around to wave to the girl, and she just smiles back at him quickly before turning around to the next person in line. Teo walks in a straight line, his little hand tight around Marco's fingers. He can see people entering the rink, but Cele seems to not be busy when they get to him, he's talking to another young man next to him. Both of them have the same jacket on, with the university logo on the chest. Marco goes to clear his throat to catch his attention when Teo beats him to it.
"Hi 'ele!"
Marco feels his heart skip a beat when Cele turns around, his nose and his cheeks are flushed red. He's smiling immediately, looking down at Teo and then glancing at Marco. His eyes are crinkling, and his irises are so dark that they reflect the light hanging around him.
"Hey guys! What brings you here?" He says, dropping to his elbows on the stall to look down at Teo more comfortably.
Marco pats Matteo's head, the hat warm against his cold hands. "I promised to take him to the market some time ago, and we finally managed."
Matteo steps closer, rising on his tiptoes to put his hands on the edge of the wooden table. "Look, Cele! I've got Spiderman gloves!"
Cele bends over further, getting close to Teo, and Marco feels like his lungs are on fire for a second, seeing him smiling at his kid, his face soft and open, immediately praising his gloves. He puts his hands in his pocket before he does something dumb, like caressing Cele's cheek.
"Do you guys want to try the rink? Skating is pretty fun," Cele says, pointing at the archway.
Marco looks at the mass of people skating around and then at the list of prices for the rented skates, feeling Teo turn around. Cele must notice because he speaks up. "Friends and family discount, of course," he says with a wink. Marco almost chokes on his own breath.
 "Can we papà?"
Bez looks down, patting his head again. "There's too many people, Teo, and you're small, it can be dangerous."
Matteo pouts, his bottom lip pushing forward and his big eyes looking up at him, and Marco knows he's doomed. He can never say no to his kid when he pulls the puppy eyes; even at three years old, he knows it. He looks up to Cele, looking for help, only to be faced with his crooked smile and big eyes filled with twinkling lights. And before Cele can fully open his mouth to speak, he is really doomed.
"I get my break at around 13, in less than an hour, if you guys wait until then, we can all go in, and then there are fewer people since it's lunchtime," he says, tilting his head a little for the full puppy eyes effect.
Marco sighs, shaking his head, the curls poking out under his beanie bouncing with the movement. "Okay, we'll keep looking around and come back then. Thank you, Cele."
"Thank you, 'ele!"
…………………………………
After another walk around the market, a sandwich, two juice packs, and a trip to the bathroom in the mall next to the market, they make their way back to the rink. Cele is no longer standing behind the wooden table, a blonde girl is in his place. Marco is about to walk up and ask when he feels a hand on his shoulder.
"You're here, guys, just in time," he says, dropping to one knee to talk with Matteo. "Are you ready to skate?"
Matteo nods quickly, his smile a little tight with equal parts excitement and nerves. Marco feels nervous himself, butterflies causing a ruckus in his stomach when Cele looks up at him.
"Okay, I need your shoe sizes for the skates," Cele starts walking towards the wooden stall as soon as Marco stumbles through telling him the two numbers.
When they reach him, he's struggling to carry three pairs of skates to the bench next to the archway into the rink. It's cute, how excited he also looks to be skating with them, and the butterflies in Marco's stomach start dive-bombing once again.
"Wait, I haven't paid yet," Marco says, helping Teo onto the bench, his legs a bit too short to jump by himself.
Cele shakes a hand in front of his face. "Don't worry about it, friends and family discount, remember," he says as he turns back towards Matteo, kneeling in front of him to help him get his shoes off and the skates on. When he tickles his little socked toes and they both giggle, Marco feels his chest burst with affection.
He's still standing, his skates waiting for him next to Cele's, so he sits down to put them on before he says something dumb. Or incriminating. Like how pretty Cele looks with his cheeks pink from the cold.
Once they're all skated up, their shoes safely back in the hands of the blonde girl, Cele gives them some quick pointers with the ease of someone who's probably been doing it for some days already. When he's done and asks if they have any questions, Matteo raises his hand. Marco can see Cele's mouth tighten to contain a giggle.
"Cele, papà doesn't have gloves!"
Marco feels his cheeks heat up under Cele's gaze. He shakes his head, opens his jacket, and starts digging around in the pockets of the hoodie he has on underneath.
"Well, that can't be, right, Teo? The good news is I always carry extra because I also forget them all the time," he says, pulling another pair of gloves, dark gray like the ones he's wearing, from his pocket. "So I can lend them to your papà while we skate."
Marco grabs the gloves, immediately putting them on under the focused gaze of his kid. They're slightly warm to the touch, probably from Cele's body heat, and feel like heaven going over his freezing-cold fingers. He wiggles his fingers, they're a little big for him, and they look snug on Cele, but he has a bit of extra room at the tips of his fingers. His brain floods with the realization that Cele has bigger hands than him. He's never cared about that, and now his eyes keep glancing at the other's hands.
When they're fully ready, Cele guides them through the archway carefully, Matteo gripping their hands tight to stay upright on the suddenly much more slick surface. The rink is much emptier than before, some couples and one group of teens are the only ones skating around. They start slowly, Cele giving pointers to their form, and quickly enough they're skating around, Matteo grabbing their hands with a huge smile on his face.
Marco looks over at Cele, on the other side of his kid, and mouths his thanks. He swears he sees Cele's cheeks flush darker, but that's probably from the ice underneath their feet.
"So, Teo, have you written your letter to Babbo Natale already?"
Matteo nods, sliding a bit with the momentum but catching himself easily with Cele's help. "Yes, papà is helping me, writing is a bit hard."
"It is, you're right there, Teo."
Matteo starts going on about what he's asking for, and what he's sure he will get because everyone says he's a good boy. Marco feels warm all over—the swirling lights around them, his kid's hand in his, soft gloves, and softer eyes across the ice.
"Cele," he says in a lull of their conversation. "How is it that you're working here? Don't you have exams?"
Cele nods, smiling. "I do, but I can revise here easily, that's why I asked to be at the front instead of in here. Also, the extra cash is nice, I'm not going home until New Year's Eve, so I had the time."
"So you're here for Christmas?"
"Yes, this year is a bit complicated with scheduling, so I can't get up there until afterwards. But it's okay."
Marco knows what he's going to say before he can reel it in and stop the words from tumbling out of his mouth. "We're going to Rimini for Christmas, you could come with us and spend the day together," he says. "If you want, I don't want you to be alone."
He can see it hit Cele, the moment the words sink into both of them, at the same time as he loses his footing on the ice, sliding backwards. He lets go of Matteo's hand, not wanting to bring his kid down with him, but it's too late for himself, his limbs flying, trying to catch himself, and Cele moving towards him to try to help.
One second later, he's flat on his back, his ass sore from the fall, the warm, solid weight of Cele on top of him, and his dark eyes worried. "Are you okay, Marco?"
He wants to bury himself in the ice, let the embarrassment pass, he wants to pull Cele closer, he wants to run away. He's stalling until Matteo's laughter next to him brings him back. Teo's sitting down on the ice, giggling up a storm at his dad's fall.
Cele moves back, getting up, and Marco has to stop himself from tugging on his sleeve, so he lays on top of him again. The cold is starting to seep into his back, so he should get up too.
With the help of Cele, they all get back on their feet and skate slowly back to the entrance. There was nothing other than a sore butt and a dent in his cool persona to cry about. When they get their shoes back, Matteo's legs are a bit wiggly from the change back to solid ground, and he starts imitating his dad falling on his ass and laughing loudly.
"Yes, yes, I fell. Very funny," he says.
Cele has been a bit quiet since the fall, so he turns towards him, grabbing his arm and squeezing. "Hey, the offer stands, I think Matteo would really like to have you there, and you shouldn't be alone for Christmas."
He sees him stutter, looking down at Teo, before nodding with a shy smile on his face. "Okay, if you insist, thank you, Marco."
The blonde girl at the stall calls Cele's name, his break is up.
"I had a great time with you guys, I need to go back now."
"Oh, right," says Marco. "Thank you, Cele, we had a lot of fun."
Matteo hugs his legs, thanking him too. Cele's hand comes down to ruffle his head through his hat. Marco finds himself unable to shut up again. "We're going to walk around until they turn on the lights if you want to go see them with us later. When do you get out?"
Cele's smile widens. "My shift ends at 17, and I'd love to go with you guys," he says, walking backward towards the stall.
"We'll be here," Marco says, letting Matteo tug him back to the market.
He squeezes his kid's hand, his chest feeling raw with emotion, and his brain is busy thinking about how he's going to tell his mom that she needs to add another plate to Christmas lunch. He's still wearing Cele's gloves.

Kidfic anon back here 🥰 Just been thinking about your drabbles once again and came up with something because 14th Feb is just around the corner: do you think either of them considers inviting the other to a dinner date? And THEN, I thought, Bez probably won't because of Theo. And Cele doesn't want Bez to feel like he has to get somebody to watch Theo. BUT what if Theo is our little match maker? Like, they've been talking about Valentine's in kindergarten and Theo understands that many people spend that day with people they like and since both of them really like Cele, he could come over? And then, he's smiling in such a cute way that Bez can't say no (plus, Bez also wants to have Cele over as much as possible!!!) and now he has to somehow ask Cele over for VALENTINE'S
Bestie, darling, your brain! I'm still thinking about the holidays drabble and what they would do when Cele goes to Bez's house and meets the parents and all that because I would like to write something for that but I can't promise when the muses might hit me.
BUT! Now I'm thinking Valentine's, maybe something not quite happened during the holidays (Bez walking in on Cele getting changed into a nice outfit, Bez's sister poking fun at her brother because he is basically 🥺🥺 at Cele, maybe they almost kiss but Matteo calls Bez over and it's a 'i should go' 'yeah' 'yeah' and ofc it reminds Bez that he has a kid and Cele is young and shouldn't be tied down), and now they've been once again a bit distant, with Cele busy with exams, but they still see each other it's hard to keep Teo away from his bestie! And of course Bez is also so happy whenever they see him, the rare occasion when they catch Cele coming back when they're going out to the park and he, no matter how tired he is, tells them to wait for him, running up the stairs and coming back without his backpack not even five minutes later. Bez loves sitting next to him, Rubik between their legs, while they look at Matteo climbing and running around with friends, soon enough coming back to them and demanding that they play ball with him.
Bez doesn't really realize Valentine's is getting close until Luca starts talking about dinner reservations. And of course his first thought is wondering if Cele has plans. His second thought is what about Teo, his friends have their own plans so it's not like he can ask them to watch him. And he isn't even sure if Cele likes him (Luca is about to hit his friend because Bez must be really blind to not see how Cele looks at him, and how Cele used to look at Luca before he made it very clear that they were just friends).
On the other side Cele wants to invite Bez to go out with him so bad, but he doesn't want to inconvenience him. And he would like to include Teo too! He's trying his damnedest to come up with some idea, his search history ranges from 'dates for people with kids' to 'how to tell if he likes me' to 'spiderman valentines'
And then, just a mere couple days before Matteo brings home a school project that he hides against his chest like it's a secret, Bez only manages to catch a glimpse at pink paper and red glitter. When he tries to ask him, Teo just looks up at him with his big brown eyes, the little gap in his front teeth that always makes Bez's mom smile, and crosses his arms tighter against his chest. "Nothing." Bez would want to know more but how bad could some kind of school project be? Teo is a smart kid, if he needs help he will ask for it.
But Matteo doesn't ask for Bez's help, the next day he has to do a double shift at work, covering for someone that's sick (which will also mean he has Valentine's day free), and when he comes back home he sees Luca sitting next to Teo, bending his tall body enough to reach the little desk he has in his room. They're so focused that they don't seem to realize Bez has gotten home, so he spends a second looking at them, the mess of coloring pencils next to the and Rubik sleeping on Matteo's bed.
When Luca realizes he's there, he whispers something to Teo, standing up while he scrambles to cover whatever they were doing. Luca asks Bez about his day, and they manage to distract him quickly enough that it's not until later that he remembers it and thinks about messaging Luca about it. But who can blame him, he's really tired and Teo is dozing off against his chest so who cares.
Anyway, the next day seems normal at first, Bez helping Teo get ready for school like always before he seems to remember something in the middle of brushing his teeth, running to his room.
The next thing Bez sees is his kid is walking up to him with a glittery heart that says "Papà" in big blue letters in the middle. And so it all makes sense.
"Happy Valen'ines, Papà"
Bez would kneel down, kissing Matteo's cheek and hugging him, uncaring if the glitter ends up all over his shirt. "Thank you, baby!"
Of course the heart ends on the fridge next to all the other drawings. Since the secret is out Teo would tell him excitedly about it, how at school they told them about the holiday and started making the cards.
"For the people you really like!" He says, before he seems to remember something else. "We need to give it to Cele!!"
Bez would be so surprised, like what??? Cele? And Teo would explain that Luca helped him because he knew how to write Papà but not how to write Cele and ofc they need to give it to him, because they like him so much. Bez promises that they will go see Cele after school is done so Teo agrees to go without trying to run to Cele's door. Bez spends the hours alone at home in a haze of 'oh god, I hope Cele doesn't have plans' and 'should I buy something else for him?' and 'of course we really like him'
He does end up getting a box of chocolates on his way to get Teo from school, and he feels as nervous as he was when he was a teen and had his first kiss. He manages to convince Teo to eat before they go and knock on Cele's door. Bez doesn't know if he wants him to be in or not, his heart feels like it's going to jump ship.
But ofc Cele opens the door, a wide grin in his dumb face the moment he sees them. Teo has the heart (Cele's is pink with orange letters) in his hands and Bez has the chocolates in his hoodie, hidden for now.
I imagine the exchange would go a little like:
"For me? Thank you Teo!"
"Yes, because I like you Cele!"
Cele's eyes moving up to Bez. And Bez would have a second of intense bravery while looking at his dark eyes and rosy cheeks.
"Would you like to come to the park with us? And have dinner later?"
Cele would stutter and flail. "If you guy's are not busy."
And that second there would be so intense, Cele's eyes shining, still crouching down to be at Teo's height, looking up at Cele, his mouth open in surprise shifting slowly into a massive smile. Bez knows he probably looks dumb, blushing and smiling, and he knows that Luca is going to be asking him how it went early next morning, but right now he doesn't have to worry about work and he basically invited Cele on a Valentine's date, with his kid, so everything is great.
"Of course not, we like you a lot."
Then they're on their way to the park, Teo holding onto Cele's hand before running towards one of his friends. Bez and Cele sit down on their usual bench, and then Bez would bring out the box of chocolates, his cheeks burning up even more than before.
"For you, Cele."
"Marco.. thank you so much."
And Cele would blush and kiss his cheek and Bez knows he's probably doing something right.
And then they have dinner and they watch Spiderman yet again and Cele and Teo fall asleep against Bez, and thankfully the next day is Saturday (because it's my universe and I say so) so he doesn't have to worry and can allow himself to rest his head against Cele's curls, grabbing Teo closer and fall asleep himself.

i've been plagued by kidfic thoughts about Bezz/Cele so of course I had to write a little blurb about it thanks @dobbiamo-capire for looking it over <3
............
Coming back from the store with two full grocery bags is making Marco regret not taking the stroller. Even if Matteo is growing less and less fond of it, he could use it to carry some groceries. The couple blocks they have to walk back seem eternal when your hands are full.
Matteo had insisted on putting on his spiderman onesie that morning and Marco knew better than trying to convince him otherwise if he wanted to get to the grocery store before noon. At least this time Teo had conceded not doing the face paint in exchange of wearing his light up sneakers.
He walks next to Marco, his little hand grabbing onto one of the heavy bags, the other clutching a juice pack. Peach flavor, his favorite. Every now and again he stomps his feet to make the sneakers light up and Marco can't help it but chuckle.
"Hey, Teo," he says, catching the kids' attention. "Are you enjoying your juice?"
"Yes, papà," Matteo nods, his wild curls flopping in front of his eyes. "Can I give Rubi' his candy when we're home?"
"Of course, amore, we can give him treats."
They're getting close to the front entrance to their building when Marco feels Matteo let go of the bag, and before he can react his child has already started running in front of him. One second he's looking at him standing next to him and the next he's seeing his little legs stomping and his curls bouncing with his sprint. His heart gives a jump and starts running after him, the bags swinging wildly. He doesn't even share a thought for the egg carton that's probably getting hit against his leg.
When he finally catches up with Matteo he finds him animatedly babbling to a neighbor, the juice pack thankfully empty. "Teo!" Marco raises his voice, he immediately feels bad when he sees Matteo jump in place, turning his little face to look up at him with big eyes. "Teo you can't start running away like that! It's dangerous. You scared me."
He can see Matteo's lip tremble, his eyes shining. Teo turns into him, hugging his legs. "I'm sorry, papà," he mumbles with a little hiccup. "I was just talking to 'ele."
That makes Marco look up at the neighbor finally, and of course it's no other than the cute guy he's absolutely not been crushing on for weeks. Marco lets out a little breath, dropping one of the bags (hopefully not the one with the eggs) so he can bury his hand in Teo's curls.
"I'm sorry if he was bothering you." He says, looking up still.
The guy raises his hands, a small smile on his plush pink lips. "Don't worry, man-" he gets interrupted by Matteo, who shakes his father's hand out of his hair to look up again.
"'ele likes Spiderman! See," he says, pointing to the backpack, which had a pretty big Spiderman patch.
"Ele?" Marco looks back up, feeling his heart skip a beat when he sees the guy's pale skin blushing a soft pink.
"Cele, well, Celestino really. He asked my name, you have a very polite kid."
"Marco," he says. "I mean, my name's Marco."
They keep looking at each other for a second, the grocery bag forgotten on the ground, Cele's keys hanging limp from his hand. Marco can't take his eyes away from Cele's face, his lips, the faint blush that still permeates his cheeks, his dark doe eyes, the long slope of his nose. Before, he had just caught glances at him in the building hallways, probably leaving to go to school, sometimes coming back in the early hours of the morning, clearly, from a party. They had barely exchanged polite nods and hushed greetings. For the first time he took his time taking Cele in.
He comes back to earth when Matteo tugs on his shorts, trying to get his attention. "Papà, I'm hungry, can I eat piadina? Please."
"Of course, amore." He bends down to grab the bag again, giving Matteo a kiss on the forehead. "I'm sorry for bothering you, Cele."
Celestino turns around, opening the door for them and walking in behind Marco. "Do not worry, I started liking Spiderman when I was his age, so I get it. My parents probably dealt with worse," he looks at Matteo. "Spidey is the coolest, isn't he?"
Matteo nods animatedly, next to them. "He is, see papà, he's the coolest superhero."
Cele laughs and Marco feels his breath catch, maybe he is crushing on him, just a little.

I usually dont enjoy kidfics, but that Bez/Cele one really got me!! God, I love them so much <3 thanks for that fic!!!!
And it made me wonder what might happen next? Like. Does Teo convince Bez to invite Cele over for a Spiderman movie night? Are both, Bez and Cele, slightly (meaning very and obviously) nervous and Teo doesn't get it, because they clearly like each other, why not spend more time together?
I'm so happy that you like my little idea! There's more where that one came from that's for sure! im actually writing another more spicy-ish blurb rn
I think the shift would be slow with them, they're both busy, Bezz walks Matteo to his kindergarten early in the morning and then goes to work, Cele goes to his university classes but he's a bit lazy so he tried and mostly managed to not get any class too early in the morning, he also goes out a lot, so they don't cross paths that much at first. But since the first big meet up Matteo insists on talking to Cele every time they cross paths.
They're /clearly/ crushing on each other, as my Italian fact checker, beta and bestie @dobbiamo-capire told me and encouraged the idea, the lady that is the concierge/gossip central for their building starts a betting pool with other neighbors for when they're going to finally start dating. But yeah, it's slow, maybe Cele starts going grocery shopping at the time he knows Bezz gets back from getting Teo from the kindergarten, no reason, it's just convenient (sure). And maybe Bezz starts doing his runs with Rubik in the evening when Cele is coming back from class/just going out instead of in the mornings, it's just nicer weather (sure sure)
But yeah, at some point Matteo absolutely invites Cele over for a movie marathon, and Bezz is like "I mean, if you want, I'm okay with it", and Cele shows up with a spiderman hoodie on, and Teo has his onesie on, and insists that Marco needs to wear something too so he ends up with his one spiderman shirt, that maybe is a little small because it's from when he was a teen. Teo absolutely ends up falling asleep during the second film, maybe he is cuddled against Cele's side, his arms curled around his Spidey plush. And bezz is like "omg let me get him, I'm sorry" but Cele just shushes him and brushes one of Matteo's curls away from his eyes. "It's okay, he's a really good kid."
Bezz absolutely falls fully in love, but also and here is where I introduce the mild angst Teo is three years old, he was Cele's age when he had him, his ex did not want nothing to do with him so he's been pretty much a single dad from day one, and he knows how much your life changes with a little one in it, he knows perfectly at what moment in life Cele is and what he had to let go of to be there for Matteo, he wouldn't change it, ever, but he also doesn't want to make Cele do it for him.
But yeah, they do end up kissing and very much in love after some time

#kidfic anon oh my God, can't believe I've got my own # that's insane
And with your explanation, yes yes, I have to admit, you're probably right. Buuuuut is it too early on to ask how you think, Cele would make a move? During one of their movie nights? After dinner? Is Teo already fast asleep next door or is Luca involved? Too many questions and I am grinning like an idiot <3
Hi bestie! Of course you get a #! You're making me want to write this so much <3
I haven't thought that far in advance yet, maybe in honor of Bezz's birthday today it could happen when Marco comes back from celebrating his birthday with his friends, Cele convinced him to leave Teo with him so he can go out with Luca and Pecco, and he goes out and has a great time but he also can't stop thinking about Teo and Cele, cuddling on his couch watching one of the spiderman movies for the hundredth time and he really misses them. It's not that he doesn't want to spend time with his friends but he really misses Mateo and Cele. So he tries to leave after only one beer, Pecco tries to protest but Luca lets him go with a knowing look.
He gets home and he was right, Teo is cuddled against Cele's chest on the sofa, almost asleep and when Marco opens the door his head pops up, curls bouncing. Cele's head pops up a second later, and Bezz is just like "I missed you guys".
They finish the movie together, Marco is giddy but stopping himself, he tells Cele he can go, that he's with Teo, but Cele refuses, tells him he still needs to see how the movie ends. Ofc bezz doesn't want him to go, but he feels he needs to give Cele an out always.
Then, when they both tuck Teo into bed, and Marco almost tears up when Mateo asks Cele to give him a good night kiss too, Cele pushes Bezz to the living room, pushes him on the sofa and goes to the kitchen, grabbing a spiderman muffin he had bought and the little birthday candle, lighting it up and quietly singing him happy birthday not to wake up Teo.
When bezz blows out the candle, Cele has said "remember your wish". As soon as the little bit of smoke dissipates between them, Cele rushes forward and pressed a kiss against Bezz's lips. "I hope I'm not wrong about your wish." (Bezz did wish for something like more nights like that). And they just spend the next thirty minutes kissing and making out on the sofa like teens. Cele does go back to his flat tht night, Bezz still wants to take it slow.
And Luca absolutely asks him the next morning if he got his twink.
Buuuut don't take this as absolutely written in stone canon because it might change, just an option as to how it could happen.

Happy and excited kidfic anon here with an idea yay
Maybe they meet again and Cele is looking for excuses to get away and Bez goes dead serious like "no, shut the fuck up, it's not embarassing, but we need to talk about our nipple piercings and the fact that I like yours" or something
Now, hold your horses for a bit, Bez is absolutely not making the first move in any of this. He is very aware of his feelings for Cele, and soon enough he's aware that Cele probably likes him too, but he is not taking any step towards a relationship first. He simply is very aware of what having Teo means, and Cele is younger than him and he doesn't want to (what he believes) "lead him on" because he has responsibilities Cele doesn't need as a 20 yo, and he also knows he feels very deep for Cele (specially after seeing him with Teo) and he is scared of opening up too soon and Cele moving on and leaving him and Teo behind.
He still would be a menace because he is Bezz after all and he loves Cele's attention, so he would run shirtless and make sure they meet Cele on the stairs when Marco comes back from school and if some days he ends with leftovers and he casually drops them off for Cele, then that's a happy little coincidence.
And ofc we'd have Luca and Pecco, even Vale, asking Marco about his cute boyfriend and trying to make him realize that he can go for it, that he deserves having someone that adores Teo as much as he does.
And after Cele takes the first step there would absolutely be a lot of talk about nipple piercings *wink*

hi I'm back again with Bezz/Cele kidfic AU thoughts, this time I have to thank @whoregaylorenzo for the idea and @dobbiamo-capire for helping me keep it Italian. I learned Cele also has a nipple piercing and of course became obsessed, enjoy
................
Marco snuggles into his coat, crossing his arms tighter around his body, while walking home from work. It's way past midnight, and it's freezing, but his boss had offered to pay him quite a bit extra to work overtime so that an important client's car could be ready for the morning. And Matteo's birthday was coming up. So of course he agreed.
Thankfully Luca had been available to stay with Matteo and Rubik for the night, he really owes him. He doesn't even remember the last time he managed a free day to go out with his friends. He takes his phone from his pocket when he's getting close to his building to message Luca that he's going to get there in just a bit. He can't wait to get home, he couldn't even give Matteo his good night kiss, settling for getting Luca to video call him so he could at least see him when he put Teo to bed.
He reaches his building, but he stops before opening the door, seeing someone stumble a little towards him from the other side of the street. The person walks underneath the streetlight, bathing them with its warm light, and he sees it's just Cele, wearing a thin-looking denim jacket and a colorful shirt half unbuttoned underneath. Marco shivers just looking at him and stays next to the door.
When Cele sees him Marco can see his face illuminating, his steps speeding up, still stumbling. He's smiling when he reaches the door, and clearly drunk. Marco's hand leaves his pocket, hanging in mid air where he stops himself from reaching for Cele. To touch him. To keep him upright.
"Bezz!" Cele shouts, leaning back against the wall next to the door, his head thrown back. "Oh Marco."
Marco's eyes follow the pale column of Cele's throat, down the bare skin of his chest until the first closed button interrupts their downward path and his gaze snaps back to Cele's face. His dark eyes are half closed, probably too sleepy and drunk to keep them fully opened, his mouth open, tongue peeking out to wet his lips. His breath is a visible cloud of warmth in the cold.
"Aren't you cold, Celin?" He chokes out, his tongue feeling too big for his mouth all of a sudden, his voice raspy after a long shift alone. His hands itch, wanting to press against Cele's skin, it would be cold. Maybe his hands, warm from his pockets, would feel good for him.
Cele just shakes his head, one of his hands coming up underneath the shirt, long fingers scratching his stomach. Marco tries to will his eyes back up, but he's focusing on the thin trail of dark hair disappearing under his waistband. Dangerous territory.
"I'm okay, Marco," Cele says, shifting a little, his head lulling to the side to look at Marco. "It's late, what are you doing here?"
His words are slow, but clear. Marco chuckles. But before he can answer, Cele continues, "were you going on a run? I know you like running, but it's too cold now, you can't take off your shirt!"
"No, Cele, I'm coming back from work," he laughs.
"Well, that's good, although taking off your shirt is good too," Cele moves again, walking away from the wall, a bit more stable than before, and gets closer to Marco. He's grinning, his teeth pressing against his plump bottom lip. "I saw you have a nipple piercing, not that I was looking, you know? But I have one too."
Marco can't even start to comprehend the words before Cele is trying to unbutton his shirt completely. He doesn't know what to say, he's still trying to gather himself when Cele gets frustrated after his cold fingers can't properly grasp the buttons so he just shoves the open shirt up to show Marco his chest.
"Wait, Cele, it's too cold! You're going to get sick again, let's get inside." He says, finally moving to the front door, as if the glimpse into what Cele looks like undressing finally wakes him up. Reminds him where they are.
He steps inside, grabbing Cele's wrist and pulling him behind him, trying really hard not to think about Celestino's quick heartbeat under his thumb. As soon as the door closes, heavy and loud, behind them he sighs, the warmth of the old building around them like a blanket. He looks back at Cele, who still has his hand, the one Marco is not grabbing, under his shirt pushing the fabric up. And there it is, a simple silver bar, much like Marco's own, piercing Cele's dusty pink nipple.
Marco feels like he's seeing something he shouldn't, like the first time one of his friends showed him a naughty magazine he had stolen from his older brother. He doesn't remember who it had been, maybe it was Luca, he just remembered the big breasted woman staring back at him from the wrinkled pages. This felt even more prohibited, his eyes taking in Cele's bare chest, the soft rise and fall of it with his breath. His hands itch again. His tongue still sits weird in his mouth.
Thankfully it's so late that Agnese is not there, sitting behind her little desk with her gossip magazines. He still feels caught when he looks back up at Cele's face and he's smiling, his cheeks pink, dusty, almost matching— his eyes are clear and focused on Marco. "See," he says, brushing his thumb over his nipple, Marco gulps. "Like yours."
Marco shakes his head, finally letting go of Cele's wrist. "Yes, Cele, I see. C'mon let's get you home, you're going to catch a cold." He starts walking up the stairs, Cele's steps soft behind him.
"It's okay," Cele says, his voice soft. "If I catch a cold, would you make soup for me again?"
Bezz stumbles on the next step, but catches himself before he can tumble to the floor. "Of course," he answers softly. They walk the rest of the way, their steps careful on the old wooden floor out of habit more than anything.
Cele's door is close to the stairs. He almost drops his keys trying to get in, their jingle the only thing breaking the silence between them. Once the door creaks open enough for him to walk through Marco takes a step back waving his hand.
"Good night, Celin. Drink some water before going to bed."
"Yes. Goodnight, Marco."
He walks away, forcing himself to turn around instead of waiting until he hears Celestino click shut the door and turn the keys locking it. His flat is a couple floors higher but soon enough he's crossing his own doorway, stepping out of his boots quietly to try and not wake up Matteo. He walks into the living room, Luca is sitting on the couch, awake and petting Rubik's head where it's resting against his thigh.
"I was about to go look for you, I got your message ages ago." Luca says, his eyes concerned. "What took you so long?"
Marco shrugs his jacket off, hanging it on the back of a chair before sitting down to chat for a second. Just a second before he gets up and changes, before he peeks into Teo's room. "Cele was coming back too, I just met him at the door."
Luca's smile speaks for itself, but before he can start poking at him for information, Bezz stands up and walks away, shaking his head. But he doesn't miss his friend chuckling behind him.

Bez Cele kidfic anon back in the house.
Darling, that new part was so CUTE!! Like, my head just immediately Cele being super embarrassed the next day but Bez just giggles the whole time because Cele was so weirdly cute and he wants to see his nipple piercing again when he is sober and aahhhhhh I love what you've created there <33 It's been living in my head rent free over the past days (just like Cele does in Bez's head hehe)
Dear anon! Welcome back! Cele definitely wakes up at noon the next day and immediately is like "oh fuck" because he was also drunk so he doesn't realize how Bez was basically drooling while looking at him.
I don't think I want to make Bez have that much of a gay panic in this AU (but I love when Bez has his own little "of course I love my bro and don't want him to date that dude because he's not good enough for him aka. he's not me but I'm totally not in love" moment in other AUs/people's fic) there's enough angst with the whole he has a kid, responsibility, having to leave his youth behind (his opinion only) so he is very much like "oh god, Cele is hot, I want to **** him while he ***** my ******"
Coming back to the blurb, I think Bez would insist on Luca sleeping there instead of going home so late, but it is a small apartment with thin walls so when Bez has a "little" morning problem he curses at himself for letting Luca stay over, he has to cross the living room to get to the bathroom to shower and he can't go out of his room like that when Luca is clearly making himself coffee in the kitchen from the noise he hears. So he instead turns around in bed and tries very hard not to think about Cele's chest while he tries to will his problem away.
When he walks out, Teo is already eating breakfast and Luca has some coffee ready for him, and a knowing smile. Marco would ignore him, going to his kid to give him some cuddles and kisses since he missed him a lot the day before. But there would be for sure a conversation because Luca is the braincell owner most of the time and he doesn't pass up an opportunity to poke fun at his bestie.
I think Cele might try to not cross paths with them as much at first, because he is embarrassed, he sees it as basically putting all his cards on the table (not really but he's young and inexperienced in relationships so he's like "I SHOWED HIM TIT!"), but Bez makes sure they do cross paths, and if he ends up running three laps too many around their building, shirtless, just to make sure he catches Cele and makes sure he sees his piercing and he puts up a front of confidence while Cele stumbles with his words and tries his harder not to look at Bezz's chest the whole time, but really he's also nervous because he likes Cele okay
I need to write some more blurbs /head in hands/
