Ok look, I was gonna say "I know you mean well" but let's be honest, I don't know if you mean well or not.

As it happens, I like being barefoot. It's a sensory thing- I like to feel the ground under me. It's also a training tool, strengthening my feet and ankles and improving balance. I also often combine pole with ground flips, archery and tree climbing, and there aren't really any shoes I can wear that are suitable for all of those things in the same session. Also, it makes me feel like a wood elf.

But here's the thing: policing how others choose to dress is not cool. There might be any number of practical reasons for it (up to and including 'I like how it looks'), or there might not, but unless they're turning up to your high wire assault course in a bodycon dress and clown shoes, you don't get to tell people what they should or shouldn't wear.

weirdest six chaos yet?? six uk tour in seoul seems to have inexplicably changed the blocking of the howard/aywd section of the megasix from (left to right around howard) seymour, cleves, aragon, boleyn, parr to aragon, seymour, cleves, parr, boleyn ??

#six the musical #it seems intentional since they've done it in all the seoul megasixes i've seen so far #it's an odd choice #bc the idnyl section blocking is the same #and the aywd blocking flows into the idnyl section well in the normal version #between this #keeping the “hey!” and all of the queens singing “i dont need your love” together at the end of idnyl #a change which doesnt seem to have been implemented in any other production #six uk tour 2022-23 has had some of the strangest bits of chaos

watching netflix and hbo/discovery cancel a shit ton of projects and mismanage the rest while acting like it’s actually a really savvy business move makes me feel like i’m going insane

like what do you think people are subscribing for if not to continuously enjoy their shows? why would they keep coming back for stories that never finish??

like it’d be one thing if they decided to just take on a more short form business model (planned single season tv shows, shows with shorter seasons, anthologies) which would STILL have its own set of problems but it would still make more sense than “entice people into joining our service to watch a show/specific film, then cancel it.”

like.......... why would anyone stay???

more and more, i feel like i can only get into stories that i know are finished
