Nick Fury's fake limp and fake Maria Hill?

There's this theory on YouTube that Nick Fury's fake limp was employed to see who tells Gravik about it. And he knows as soon as he does it in front of Maria Hill.

Now, you all know, I am reaching for straws that Maria Hill is alive. BUT isn't it odd that she was working with Skrull!Ross? Like Maria knows about Skrulls, and she's smart. How did this guy play her? Like I need specific smart things he did to trick her. I'm not going to just buy that she was tricked.

And then the bombing is all about Gravik killing Maria to make Nick sad. But he's... not sad. He's more upset to learn there are a million Skrulls on Earth.

Now the part of this that doesn't work is that Maria doesn't turn into a Skrull when she "dies". But if Gravik knows she's a Skrull, then MAYBE he didn't really kill her. Or knew he couldn't really kill her because she's a Skrull (Gravik seems okay killing some of his own people).

I have my eyes on the female presenting (I feel weird assuming Skrulls have a gender binary like humans) Skrull that Gravik says "We couldn't have done this without you" to when he arrives "victorious" at the Nuclear Plant.

What did that mean? We haven't seen her do jack shit. I assumed she was there because she was going to be one of the ones that becomes Super Skrulls.

Before I speculated that Beto, the Skrull who arrives in the first episode, is working with Fury and Talos. That Gravik thinks Talos is only getting information from G'iah but Fury has someone else as well.

Maybe Beto was sent there to FIND Maria and Ross' pods, once Talos discovered Fury's team had been infiltrated. There's a scene in the trailer where G'iah seems to find a FUCKTON of pods. Maybe Maria is one of them?

IDK. It's possible I am in denial and putting too much faith in Nick Fury not being a dummy. But whatever, this makes it easier for me to sleep at night.
