Comes with multiple backstraps to adjust the grip too. Default capacity is 15+1 but it also accepts 17 round Glock 17 magazines as well as the 33 round fun sticks if you’re feeling really spicy. Suitable for competition, carry, range fun. I actually carry a glock 19 concealed which some people find bonkers because it’s technically a “subcompact” so it’s on the larger side for a concealed gun but tbh for my body shape I find it reasonably comfortable and I have never had a problem with concealment.

.380 v 9mm for normal people carry purpose doesn’t make a whole lot of difference imo. I’ve never seen anyone shrug off a round from either. But I tend to subscribe to “Carry the largest caliber you are comfortable and can practically carry” so make of that what you will. As far as the gun goes. That’s not enough info for me to make any real recommendations. Depends on her price range, hand size, carry preference, style of dress, location, level of training, ect.So I guess by default I’ll say Glock 43, S&W Shield 9mm, maybe a Walther PPS. My favorite sub compact 9mm out there right now is the VP9sk for what that’s worth.  Just have her go out and shoot as many Subcompact 9mms she can get her hands on. When she has a more realistic idea of what type of shooter she is, you’ll at least have a ballpark of the market to start looking at.
