Guardian of Myths and Legends

When Luca Fiori was sent to join the Bergholz Regional Calamity investigation, he expected to be little more than a glorified aid worker. Prior to working as a professor's assistant, he'd never even had a Pokemon partner in his life. With an Eevee and an alpine Growlithe by his side, Luca could see himself maybe providing warm meals and basic first aid to the people who were making the real discoveries. His traveling companions seemed to confirm this idea: a junior researcher, an obsessive bug catcher, a morose eccentric, and a pampered ChaTok influencer. At least they would be relatively safe, avoiding the front lines of whatever was going on.

He'd forgotten that ragtag groups of misfits tend to attract Destinies. Now, threads of fate lead them across the region and into the dens of villainous teams and doomsday cults alike ... the blue Deoxys egg was just the beginning.

Supporters in de Kuip tijdens Feyenoord - NAC, 15 april 1962. De uitslag was 4-1.

Uit het Vrije Volk van 16 april 1962:

Gerard Bergholz, op de rechtsbuitenplaats vervangen door de jonge Hordijk, maar na een kwartier invaller voor een door rugklachten gepijnigde Cor v.d Gijp, heeft een groot stempel gedrukt op Feijenoord-NAC. Bergholz kwam na één kwartier het veld op en scoorde nauwelijks twintig seconden later een magnifiek doelpunt. Twintig minuten later herhaalde hij die prestatie nog eens. Omdat verder Bouwmeester en Schouten voor Feijenoord scoorden en Visschers voor NAC, werd het tenslotte 4-1. Een resultaat, dat de verhouding in het veld voortreffelijk weerspiegelde.

Het was een wedstrijd in grote sfeer. NAC werd bij zijn opkomst luid toegejuicht, Feijenoord kreeg een staande ovatie terwijl bij de aanvang het legioen uit volle borst het "Hand in hand, kameraden" zong. Dat heeft de Rotterdammers, die al vijf wedstrijden in successie het zoet der overwinning niet smaakten, gesterkt. Bij vlagen was het spel ouderwets, in weken zag het legioen zijn favorieten niet in zulk een vorm.

Al decennialang is Feyenoord de 'bewoner' van De Kuip. Het stadion is ontworpen door architect Van der Vlugt. Grote man achter dit idee was Leen van Zandvliet. De voorzitter van Feyenoord in de jaren 30 riep op een dag uit "Ik heb het, ik heb het!" Hij was wakker geworden uit een droom; hij schreef het idee snel op een kladblok. De vorm van het stadion, met een 'loshangende' tweede ring zodat niets het uitzicht van de toeschouwers zou belemmeren, zou zijn droom tot hem zijn gekomen. Enkele maanden later werd architect Van der Vlugt uitgenodigd voor een gesprek. Een stadion met twee verdiepingen moest gerealiseerd worden. De kern van het gesprek was 'eenvoud', verfraaiingen kwamen er niet aan te pas.
