Bentley Flying Spur S, 2022. Bentley Motors have expanded their driver-focused “S” range with the 4-door Flying Spur saloon. It will be offered in either a 544PS 2.9 litre V6 hybrid form or with a 550PS 4.0 litre V8. It is the first Bentley “S” to buffered as a hybrid. Both come with a redesigned sports exhaust to provide a more purposeful soundtrack. The Flying Spur S will be presented at the Goodwood Festival of Speed

Bentley Continental Flying Spur

What a difference 70 years makes juxtaposition of Bentley R-Type Continental, 1952 & Bentley Continental GT Speed, 2022. Bentley Motors is celebrating 70 years since the start of production of the Continental coupé. Production began in May 1952 with first customer deliveries in June that year. At the time it was  the fastest 4-seat series production car in the world, and also the most expensive. Just 208 series 1 R-Type Continentals were produced. All three modern generations of the Continental GT have an exterior design inspired by the R-Type Continental. The ‘power line’ that traces backwards from the front wheel arch, the muscular rear haunch and the sloping roofline are all modern interpretations of the same features from the R-Type.
