My second tourism poster for TAZ Steeplechase! It was a little challenging finding the middle ground between the bright cheery childhood nostalgia vibe that Ustaben canonically has, and the blacklight cosmic bowling vibe I’ve permanently headcanon’d it as. But I’m happy with how this one turned out!

not enough appreciation for beef punchly. let's hear it for beef. this man was built to be the tank, the hitting people guy, and he does, but he is the only one in the group with any social skills. he's usually the only one who thinks of the Consequences at any given time and has a sense of self preservation. a big element in his arc happened before the start of the show (a shift away from recklessness after ruining his career), which is really interesting and adds something to the character, who is in a sort of different point in his life than someone like aubrey from amnesty (who goes on that sort of arc within the show). he makes puns with his stage name constantly. he's the biggest man alive. his first impulse upon seeing a man as big as him was to kiss him. he was approached to be involved in crime and he was worried he was being asked out. he's been described as the only sentient member of the group. he became friends with james debarge. he let a justin stab him one time for the bit and didn't even feel it. he cares about his friends very much. he's soft and vicious. he stole an airplane. he wants to call the group noodles and beef.

my official first taz steeplechase headcanon is that beef punchley is aroace. like the way he was so confidently wrong about gravel flirting with him? that's an overcorrection from years of failing to pick up on romantic undertones and not being able to reject them until it was almost too late, baby
