✧ You got his carelessness in EVERY sense of the word.

✧ On the one hand, it was positive because you worried less. You were no longer as focused on others or trying to anticipate potential problems as much as possible before they happened. You were more spontaneous and, mentally, it was more relaxing for you.

✧ But you also got the negative sides.

While you were hanging out on an island, some locals offered you a cold drink in the street during a hot day . You didn't hesitate for a second before thanking them with a big smile—really happy—and swallowing the liquid straight while thinking how nice they were to offer you a drink. Especially since, as a pirate, it was true that the locals usually tended to be afraid of you.

You ended up passing out from the effects of the drugs you had just ingested. When you woke up, as you vaguely heard the shouts and sounds of fighting from your crewmates in a nearby room, you found yourself wanting to hit your head on the floor because of your stupidity.

𝐙𝐎𝐑𝐎

✧ Sake has definitely taken a bigger place in your life.

✧ You found yourself following his consumption with a bottle during the meal, a bottle each time you wake up from a nap, a random bottle in the middle of the day, etc. Every time you saw him arrive with a bottle stolen from the kitchen, it was done.

✧ You also had your worst hangovers with him.

✧ On the other hand, he was surprisingly considerate when you were hungover. He always had this side of making fun of you for not having drunk more or even as much as him but he still kept this little satisfied smile of "that my partner!".

He also knows all the anti-hangover secrets so he was discreetly attentive the next day to help you get through this painful moment.

✧ On the other hand, drunk, he was much more affectionate!

✧ You started taking more care of your appearance.

✧ Nami was very careful about her lifestyle and her beauty, so you quickly realized that it attracted a lot of advantages or attention from the people around her.

You started mainly out of insecurity because of the fear that she would find someone better elsewhere.

✧ You had started eating better thanks to Sanji, doing more sports and asking for lotions, creams and body care products specially made by Chopper. You had also taken advantage of Robin's massages and saunas, thanks to Zeus. Eventually, you even asked Brook for help maintaining your hair.

✧ Yet, after seeing the start of results on your body and mind, you end up continuing this routine for yourself.

✧ It also brought you closer to Nami, with whom you ended up doing activities as a couple. And you couldn't deny that it always felt good to see her looking at you more and more like you were the dessert.

𝐔𝐒𝐎𝐏𝐏

✧ You've become a lot more hands-on since you were with him.

✧ At the beginning of your relationship, you weren't exceptionally good with your hands. You knew how to use them like everyone else, but if you had to do manual tasks like patching up the boat or creating equipment, you were a little lost.

✧ However, you ended up understanding more and more how it worked by staying with Usopp while he worked.

✧ And he was also very proud to show you what he could do as well as help you make your own creations or activities. He guided you step by step while being very proud of you.

✧ Now you were almost self-sufficient and knew how to deal if a device broke or if there was a problem on the boat. If there was anything that needed help, Usopp and Franky would come and ask for your help or advice without hesitation.

✧ It was mostly out of spite at first. By listening to him talk to women or hearing him chant his love in every possible or unimaginable way, you end up remembering some of his catchphrases.

Instead of being jealous of the attention he paid to others, you instead stayed to observe his way of flirting. Whether it was what he said, the way he said it, or even his attitude, you didn't miss a single detail. You tested everything you had learned on Nami, who couldn't stand you anymore, and some of the other crew members.

When Nami admitted that you weren't that bad, you tried to flirt with Sanji.

✧ Your greatest reward came in the form of Sanji blushing like a tomato as you shamelessly flirted with him.

𝐑𝐎𝐁𝐈𝐍

✧ Above all, you have recovered her taste for reading.

✧ Finally, more precisely, she made you rediscover the pleasure of reading by offering you books that you might like. This way, she saved you from getting into books that didn't interest you to "test reading" and which always ended up telling you that they really weren't your thing.

Instead, she used her impressive library to guide you to stories that would be more likely to keep you engaged.

And she succeeds!

✧ Even though it wasn't your favorite activity either, you found yourself enjoying these quiet afternoons of reading. The two of you alone in the library, huddled against each other under the rays of the sun which calmly pierced the windows of the Sunny, traveling in totally different fantastical universes.

✧ It was calm and it fit well with your relationship with her.
