Before tomorrow's rqg episode crushes me, and while I can still live in the shadows of denial and fanfiction, I want to make some predictions
I will cry

I will continue thinking about how their first reaction to the crash was "not again"
I will love zolf
Zolf and alex's promised hope? Will they connect?
I will want to give Hamid a hug

I'm not even going to say my theories for how Wilde's situation is going to happen, I dont want to curse it

It's so weird for me, 3 different fandoms I'm in have all put out a really nice happy episode recently and let me just say, I'm not complaining. Don't get me wrong, I love angst and hurt comfort but. Sanders Sides? Wonderful, I don't want to spoil anything but let me just say, pure serotonin. Tma? Ignoring this past week's episode that I couldn't listen to, jon and martin bein cute is always v good, and that I spy game lives in my head rent free still. Rqg? Again, ignoring the end of the latest episode, but Wilde was happy again?! And Hamid and Azu hugs! And Cel!! Always Cel! Do they need a hug? Absolutely, but at least they got to turn into a penguin- also I love Zolf he is my sad sea dad- basically aaaaaaaaa I'm getting all the nice fluffy things and its lovely :)

I'm nonbinary. I've actually quietly changed my pronouns in my blog description, but I want to make an actual post about it. I've picked out a new name, I think, but I'm still not comfortable with all of tumblr knowing my name. So, if you know me irl, dm me and I'll tell you my name, and to let me know you saw this. Also dont tell anyone irl, which might be obvious but just in case

Listen, I know no one cares about my writing other than me and my qpp but I'm still gonna talk about it, bc so much it is the only thing in my head and I need to share the love for my characters bc they are wonderful and amazing and I don't have nearly enough courage to tell anyone I know irl about them bc I dont want to get the sympathetic "oh that's nice" with the undercurrent of "I don't care leave me alone" about this thing that's so close to my heart and my gosh I love my qpp so much xe's the only person who actually listens to me it feels like sometimes and oh rip this has become a vent

Sometimes, I write deep, emotional, heartfelt speeches from one character to another. Other times, I write:

Rough descriptions of my OCs
Damien: og boi, has changed a lot since that first poorly written notebook page. Homoromantic asexual, biologically 19 chronologically around 150~ I can't do math in my head. Married to Ray. Constantly stressed, chaotic and enjoys breaking into people's houses with the express purpose of ruining their high scores on assorted video games. Obsessed with space and flying. Says he isn't the dad of the group but he is still the dad of the group. Very mischievous. Honestly there's a lot I could say about him but I might as well make a separate post about him so mOving on
Ray: original concept hasn't changed much but he's gotten a lot of depth. Bisexual and married to Damien. Age is the same as Damien, biologically and chronologically. Will work himself to exhaustion trying to help others, never puts himself first, was in denial about his issues but then Damien and Naomi repeatedly told him to get help and he finally (somewhat reluctantly) did. Loves reading, can tailor/make clothes incredibly well. Likes living in big cities.
Hazel: I'm honestly still working on her character but I still love her. The only straight character of the main group. Age biologically is 20-21, chronologically idk she was born in the mid 1920s so just under 100? Known Ray and Damien since WWII, closer to Ray. The only sensible one, definitely the mom friend. Look, she might not know what she's doing 100% of the time but she's trying. Not very suspicious, sometimes a bit too optimistic, and let's herself get pushed around by others. Also the only one with (modern) medical knowledge.
Skylar: probably my favorite to write. Has almost 0 resemblance to original which is honestly for the best. Nonbinary, uses they/them pronouns, panromantic and realizes partway through the story that they're grayace. Age biologically and chronologically 17. Pretty hotheaded and generally impulsive, will not hesitate to punch a homophobe/racist/sexist/anyone who deserves it. Loud and outgoing but also struggles with anxiety and can gentle when needed, though they're not the best at it.
Ari: was supposed to be like Skylar 2.0 but then somehow their personalities swapped so rip I can't control my own characters. Lesbian, and her age is chronologically and biologically 16. Dead inside and constantly tired. Still chaotic tho, and has canonically changed all of her English teachers lesson plans to the bee movie script and was never found out. Knows Skylar pre-story due to said English class. Also under a lot of development, I'm sorry Ari. Very stubborn. I want to say more but I'm tired and that's all I can come up with rn
Special mentions:
Naomi: Damien's sister, dies 8-9 months before the main story. Is responsible for Damien and Ray getting together in the first place. Idk her sexuality at all so rip, 2 years older than Damien. Strong willed, and more but this is just a mention so :p
Emmeline: can't say much bc spoilers but she and Ray were in an arranged marriage (yes they were young but their parents were jerks) but Damien and Ray were secretly dating and it was a whole thing. Still nice, doing her best. Same age as Ray, straight probably. More perceptive than she seems
Sylvie: uhhh in non universe specific terms, she's Damien's mentor? I guess? Around mid to late 20s, aromantic bisexual bc heck yeah. A badass. Just, a badass. Somewhat reluctant to teach but definitely cares for Damien. Tough and strong and knows what she's doing. Unfortunately, she doesn't work great with groups so that's fun for literally everyone else.
