His ushanka? Gone

Hair? After an emotional painful reminder that his god prefers dazai over him, he will show up with dyed messy brown hair

And oh, is that a new trench coat?

SO.MANY.BANDAGES! how does dazai do this everyday?

You get the point. Fyodor, the most narcissistic, godcomplexed rat out there, will beg on his hands and knees for you to look at him, acknowledge him.

to say his name, not some unworthy scum

Dont get me started on what he will do if he find reader with dazai, smiling and chatting with the enemy as if you hadn’t stay quiet for the last century with your infamous poker face

Dazai should start running

yes u r right anon!!! he starts off by changing his physical appearance to resemble dazai, before anything else.

so it comes as a shock to see fyodor kneeling down before you with brown hair. he's got it cut, too, and styled messily. perhaps noticing your gaze on him, he gathers up the courage to lock eyes with you, and—your heart drops at the sight.

it's almost painful to see him smile—a mischievous quirk that was all too reminiscent of dazai. it's unnatural if the trembling lips of fyodor were anything to go by, and you find yourself thinking that nikolai could have pulled this off better. he stares at you with that unassuming look dazai has, but the intense staring has already caused it to lose its effect—now, it's just creepy.

he clears his throat right before the end of his prayers, and the question that follows leaves you puzzled, "he has worn both black and beige coats in the past. which colour do you prefer…?"

as always, you don't spare him with an answer.

his solution is to alternate between both colours every day.

then the bandages start to appear. you consider the possibility that fyodor was stalking dazai, because it was starting to look eerily accurate with the bandage placements and the directions they were wrapped in. to make things worse, the weird smile is still making its appearance, though you've become desensitized to the sight. a good thing, because if you witnessed both the smile and his new manner of speaking at the same time, it may have actually caused your heart to give out.

he speaks in a odd, playful manner, not the serious, refined way he usually does, and it does get on your nerves. mostly because it doesn't suit him at all. him and dazai, especially when it concerned their ideologies, were polar opposites, and this was just weird. you finally decide things have gone too far when he starts comparing his ability to dazai's.

"crime and punishment," he suggested, "is not all that different from no longer human. one nullifies life, and the other nullifies an ability. not to mention, they are both abilities with three words in their name and, by nature, cannot be used as a supporting—" (you tuned out the rest)

one day, when you catch sight of him fiddling with the hat he always wore, a wonderful idea strikes you. he had really been getting onto your nerves recently, and it was the perfect time for payback.

"your ushanka was cute," at the hopeful look in his eyes, you bite back a smile, "though it suits dazai best."

#hsr #honkai star rail #hsr 2.2 #hsr spoilers #hsr leaks #the body of this post reads as far less enthusiastic than i really am #i just don’t know how to casually return from my latest 2 week hiatus only to gush abt a game i’ve hardly blogged abt before #but i’m not making a whole ass sideblog for it like i did for Genshin. nah y’all r gonna bear witness to my fixation with this one #so anyways don’t mind me. vibrating into another dimension with anticipation for the next 11 days #it’s insane man. a year ago i Never ever woulda thought i’d be so invested in this game. and it took Months for the game to really grab me #but i’m v glad i kept coming back even when i was struggling to really get into it. like i just had this feeling that if i stuck around and #gave the game a chance to really like. come into its stride. i just always felt like there was Something there and i just hadn’t found it #and holy shit i finally found it in Penacony. the devs really truly outdid themselves with this region and these characters and this story #not to discount everything that’s happened prior. like i was genuinely Liking it all before now but i wasn’t Loving it y’know #but that may be more a ‘me having to fight tooth n’ nail to force myself to consume new media’ thing than it is a matter of the actual game #anyways i came here to talk abt the program! bc since i’m not filming my HSR stuff i’m gonna be insufferable abt it on Tumblr instead ! :)#and i’m probably not filming any more Genshin stuff. or anything else at all for that matter but let’s not talk abt that dead dream #pun not intended lmao. so i think i am gathering that tumblrs response to everyone getting porn bots on their dashboards bc they follow tags and the bots have started liking the other bots posts leading tumblrs algorithm to think that they are popular and putting them on dashes they have made it so that instead of recent posts from the tags you follow showing up its just ones with lots of notes . for me personally this makes me want to just stop using the followed tags feature bc everything is posts ive already seen. i dont know why tumblr is seemingly consistently unable to do anything meaningful to reduce the amount of bots. im just a random guy and after seeing like three of those spam posts show up on my dash i was able to figure out what was happening.
