Firstly, Shi Qingxuan was extremely stunned by the terrible truth about his ascension and how costly it was to save his life. Then, he lost the most important people in his life - his elder brother, who replaced parents and did all for Shi Qingxuan, and his best friend. He lost both of them at the same time.

His best friend killed his brother because Shi Wudu killed He Xuan's family.

Even if He Xuan used Shi Qingxuan for revenge on Shi Wudu, all Shi Qingxuan's emotions were true. He believed that he had a best friend, and he took care of Ming Yi.

I guess that Shi Qingxuan was totally devastated. One part of his heart and soul belonged to his dead elder brother, another one was for his best friend who even didn't exist (probably).
