Todays lesson will be on Knifeplay.

Keep in mind this is only for play with consent either before or during the fact. CNC included, just talk it out beforehand.

It takes a lot of trust, and being professional. Acting deranged is one thing, you never, never want to actually have someone fearing for their lives in reality.

Handling is a key component and learning how to use the flat to guide your blade. Leaving some good area for the blade to rest on so the blades tip is not pressing anywhere close to skin, if the tip can be seen digging, it’s to close for just guidance. Use the blade to show a trail of where the edge or tip of the blade will be going.

Once this is clearly displayed you can start dragging your blade across skin, lightly will leave either no marks, or even raised skin as it irritates and scratches the first 2 layers of skin.

If pressed down harder against the skin, take care to gauge the pressure, if you must move your own hand down the handle, if you’re so brave and willing to use this knife, you should be talented enough to hold the blade carefully without harming yourself- if not this step is not for you- to then while holding the blade manually applying pressure to either the tip or the edge.

Depending on how hard the steel presses to flesh, you can leave large strokes, releasing pressure on your way down to leave only minimal marks, remember that when actually wishing to do anything involving either drawing blood, or simply marking, keep care to have a designated area for the scene, think an area on the hips, the legs or ass, maybe waist if comfortable- for any other areas have an open discussion beforehand on what to touch, what can and can’t be scratched and if any areas could cause triggers.

Once you have an area designated, scratches and marks can be drawn. Either with your hand on the handle or on the blade let it rake in a very short line, the blade will take careful precision to not go deep, but can leave small nicks if careful enough- for the edge of the blade, one could press the edge in slowly and let gravity and the pets own movements do the work- could let the edge move down the length of its edge; only a thumbs length to start as you get comfortable with the area. Make sure to only leave as many marks as allowed, if given permission to leave marks at your leisure, it’s your own responsibility then to ensure not to overwhelm and disrupt the flow of the session.

Once the session comes to an end, make sure to clean the area with wipes and if you can, dip some disinfecting alcohol diluted with heavy amounts of water onto the rag or cloth to manage the area, if bandages or bandaids are needed, have them ready.

Afterwards aftercare should be available immediately upon request, and to ensure safety and security at all times afterwards. From there one can continue to talk about the next time, and how to continue from there.
