critical role: by someone that hasn’t seen any of it

hi so we recently got into dimension 20 and our friends have been tugging us towards critical role for a very long time at this point but we still haven’t watched any of it nor do we know all that much about anything that actually happens in it. however we do intend to actually start watching soon so we decided it was the perfect opportunity to make one of those ‘all the things i know about this thing i haven’t watched’ posts, show it to our critrole friends, and then actually get into critrole and be able to look back and laugh about it later

also the images are all sourced via friend so this is all one hundred percent no wiki no google knowledge, just from tumblr and discord convos and stuff. and some cast compilation videos that were very funny

What. anyway i know he’s taliesin’s pc and he invented guns and is also possessed sometimes by big bird demon, and he has a nifty plague doctor mask. also tragic backstory. his entire family is dead i think. no mercy percy! he has a thing with vex? also his hair did a wilbur. the gay people on tumblr love this twink. i also think i love this twink

- vax’ildan! i think i may have actually spelled that right! half-elf? vex is his twin? and he’s... liam’s pc i think. yeah that’s it. he gives me angsty boy energy tho. not as much as percy but this boy has seen some shit. also he might be a rogue or a ranger who even knows. he looks like gay jon snow

- vex’ahlia which i definitely didn’t spell right. i think the next one is marisha’s pc so this one is... uh... laura? i think she’s the ranger actually. i think she has a bear. not like a gay bear like an actual animal bear. though it could be gay too i dunno. she has a think with percy. or everyone wants her to have a thing with percy. i genuinely can’t tell. anyway get that traumatized twink girl

- keyleth... marisha’s pc. some kind of spellcaster? maybe sorcerer? wild magic? she Also has a thing with percy maybe. or vex. or both. who even knows. everyone wants that twink. one time she threw herself off a cliff and turned into a goldfish and almost died and it was hilarious

- this is the one that got a tv show and might have also been the first critrole campaign idek

- d. ragons? chromia something. dragons. i hope i haven’t been lied to about the dragons. i hope there are actually dragons in this. there’s like a chromium something with dragon symbols tho

- oh this is the sad wizard boy caleb widogast. he’s gay for essek thelyss (or something. i didnt spell that right) who is a npc i think. yeah. sad wizard. every time i see him he’s just being a wizard and sad. the gays love him too but he’s more of a distraught otter than a sad twink. maybe he and percy should start a club tho. also i think he’s played by liam

- i KNOW this character’s name i think it starts with s but i can’t remember for the life of me. scriv? scrat? no thats the rat from ice age. possibly a menace? i think im getting them mixed up with someone else. they look cool as hell though

- jester!! laura pc i think perhaps. i want to get drunk with her and tell her about all of my problems. yeah. i dont know anything about her actually. beaujester exists tho i know that

- YASHA. CRUSH ME HOLY FUCK. sorry im normal ? her voice makes me a little crazy insane. ive seen a few clips of her. mostly gay shit with beau. uh she’s played by ashley and she could kick my ass very easily

On SV fics and jin lan city AU fanfics

Jin lan city is one of my fave arcs in SV bc we have all this wonderful tension coming to a head. Sqq's devotion to binghe turned over its head, into fear and animosity

meanwhile binghe laboriously built himself up, meticulously planned and manipulated his way into a favorable political position both in the demon realm and as a huan hua disciple

despite his anger and resentment. he thinks this will prove to shizun that hes still valuable. bc xin mo digs its claws into binghes insecurity: sqq either rejected him bc of his demon heritage, or worse. sqq found him unlovable, the person who knew him best, saw the core of who he is, found him insufficient

hell. maybe this was a long con years in the making, sqq hated him since they met, and then only pretended to be nice to binghe so that sqqs betrayal would hurt more

and all this planning bites him in the ass!!!! it makes shizun resent him more!!!

some fics make the mistake of dissolving this tension too early. for the sake of speeding up the bingqiu cuddles

and like i think thats a waste bc those same misunderstandings, when resolved with good storytelling, lead to a satisfying conclusion that makes bingqiu feel deeper, with a stronger connection !

so anyway theres so many ways the jin lan meeting post abyss couldve gone. RIPE with potential for a variety of fun fanfic scenarios!!!

ive seen truth serum jin lan city aus, or obedience spell aus. even ones where sqq forces a soul connection so binghe. cant kill him without hurting himself

point is!! SO MANY OPTIONS

but my absolute favourite jin lan city aus, the most ironic, juicy, and hardest to execute imo :

aus where Binghe realizes something baffling about his shizun. the key to successfully manipulating SQQ and resolving this post-abyss misunderstanding.

its not through demonic power, prestige, manners or huan hua palace.

it's by binghe showing the most unlovable, weak side of himself. that makes sqq crumble like wet tissue paper IN AN INSTANT

if binghe in jin lan city cries, if hes hurt or sick, sqq will be there to help him immediately despite sqqs fear of binghe

sqq is so so weak to white lotus binghe that he would risk getting mauled by the demon emperor. bc he cant hold back his own need to coddle binghe

a sub point to this same weakness sqq has; jin lan aus where binghe pushes the limit of "how far will shizun go to pamper me?"

that one is tricky bc. it can sound OOC if written without believable buildup

disciple white lotus binghe is aware that sqq favours him; sqq vastly prefers binghes cooking over any other food. sqq got without-a-cure for binghes sake. binghe is head disciple.

but its not always that binghe realizes how FAR sqq would go to coddle binghe, and worse, sqq justifies it and lies to himself about it. "its only what binghe is owed! hes the protagonist! this world was built for him!"

so in some delicious jin lan aus, binghe goes; ok ok. shizun hates me now. but when i hug him.. he doesnt push me away? when i kill all the sowers, and jin lan proclaims me a hero, and i ask for shizuns hand in marriage... he doesnt DENY it to me??

shizun doesnt look happy. but he goes along willingly!?!?!? WHAT IS GOING ON

basically it leads to more misunderstandings before a resolution BUT ITS SO JUICY!? SQQ's love for binghe vs his lying to himself about loving binghe! a truth he can hardly admit in the privacy of his mind !

and binghes confusion blending with his delight and the stinging betrayal of 3 years ago!!! CHEFS KISS

hiya so i know you're a frankenstein enjoyer (same here) but im curious: what are your thoughts on the whole "came back wrong" idea? i really love it but what do you think?

short answer: yes oh my god i love that trope (?) and i love the themes and stories and implications that can be told with it gdhgdh its sooooo good bc i think it highlights the finality of death and the futility in holding on to the past instead of moving forward, but it also is such a wonderful metaphor for grief and how it warps how the dead are perceived by those they leave behind

longer answer:

i dont know if id say im a fan of specifically "coming back wrong" so much as "coming back and being perceived as wrong" or more simply "coming back changed". characters who are brought back, having gone through a fundamentally life altering experience and are expected to just slide back into the mold of their own life when they have been shaped into something entirely new that Will Not Fit. they're not a different person but they're not the same person either. they've grown and they've evolved, but no one is willing to see or accept that change because they're so used to the version that's living in their memories. i think its a really great way of showing how grief tends to form an idealized version of loved ones in our minds, and the high pedestal we put them on may make them impossible to recognize if they are brought back as they were, not as how they were remembered or expected to be. this new version isn't wrong, not anymore wrong than your cousin who you haven't seen since childhood who now has a new favorite color, but it feels wrong because it's not what you remember.

then, too, i love the idea of wrong just meaning changed. that these characters have undergone a Process which has altered them in some way, not in like a mystical or magical sense like "ooo the spell to bring them back made them Insane" or whatever, but just the fact that death and rebirth are experiences that would shape a person and absolutely have an impact on their personality in a very natural and logical way. no clue if ur a batman fan so im sorry if this example makes no sense, but like, i think thats part of the reason why jason todd is one of my favorite characters. you could easily say he "came back wrong" after being brought back to life, but there's just something about that phrasing that i dont particularly like as much because it implies to me that there's no real explanation for his changed behavior, when in reality it's the circumstances of both his death and his rebirth that actively caused him to change. i like to look at "coming back wrong" as more of a metaphor for the natural process of change and growth that everyone goes through, but it's coupled with a reluctance of those around the character to accept said change (mostly i think because they did not get to see the process of the change occurring. to them this person was simply gone and then they weren't, and they have no frame of reference for what traumatizing experience literally dying is)

i think it's an interesting idea within the concept of frankenstien as well, because i really enjoy the idea that it is both the creature and victor who "come back wrong", both in slightly different ways like ive talked about. the creature is an affront to god and nature, he is "wrong" in the sense that he should not exist, but more than that, he is "wrong" because he is not as victor imagined him to be. victor wanted to create the perfect form of life, a vessel capable of beating death. and while he achieved one of those goals, the horror of his actions catches up with him and causes him to treat the creature as a monster before he ever has a chance to be anything else. he comes to life with no memories, no sense of morality, no knowledge of anything at all, and is then turned into something wrong- something that came back wrong- because of how he was treated by the world

and then victor, i think, undergoes a more metaphorical death and rebirth (seen with his illness) as the shock and horror of what he's done causes him to reevaluate his goals in life and fundamentally changes the way he looks at the world. obviously you could just say that this is just. natural character progression and it doesn't really relate to coming back wrong at all, but i think its a nice little parallel, and honestly. victor is unable to fit back into his life from before because his is so haunted by his actions (literally and metaphorically) so i think it works as a similar metaphor to some extent.

so yeah uh. fucking love thinking abt this as a concept bc i am obsessed with the idea of death and rebirth. rebirth as a process of corruption instead of a process of purification. corruption in itself being a form of purification. coming back "wrong" meaning you've come back as the purest form of yourself, of humanity, and having everyone around you turn away out of grief over their expectations of you

I don't think it made them look good to be honest and Rhaenyra was still fine with killing him, the only reason they didn't is because Daemon offered another option. I don't think the show needs to explicitly spell out bad deeds are bad, either way fandom will do what it does so you shouldnt really make this for the lowest common denominator

yeah and see i do completely agree with you— i like the choice and i like the moral ambiguity— but i just think that the writing of the laenor twist was just kinda unclear in general wrt their motivations. is it intending to show their moral ambiguity? if so then that feels at odds with rhaenyra having a whole scene earlier in the episode where shes like ITS OK laenor LOVE IS LOVE i accept you for JUST WHO YOU ARE its OKAY TO BE GAY <33333 which feels like theyre trying to set up laenor’s exile as a kindness because she cares about him? otherwise what was the purpose of that scene? and what was the purpose of laenor saying he wants to stay with rhaenyra and be with his family? ive seen like 30 completely different and opposing interpretations of what *actually happened* bc daemon and rhaenyra’s entire discussion about what to do with laenor had to be written with as much double meaning as possible to preserve the twist. leaving a lot of questions unanswered. like... how does laenor feel about it? we dont know! some people thought it was originally planned as a murder but qarl intervened. some people thought laenor was super happy to abandon westeros and obviously agreed to the plan ahead of time (which would feel inconsistent with his earlier scene?). did rhaenyra feel troubled about doing it? was she completely chill about it? why would daemon want him alive? we dont see any of this! and the story moves so fast that any emotional ramifications will probably not get any exploration. so like my problem is not with the choice itself but with the writing around it being kinda weak and unclear, if that makes sense? idk hahaha

#hotd spoilers #it just seemed like they were more interested in pulling off an unbury your gays twist than actually exploring the ambiguity of the choice #which like it’s fine it’s tv it’s allowed and i did really like the ending moment #but the setup was. script wise. really all over the place #idk i need to ruminate on this more.#regardless: heres how daemon ii blackfyre faking his death and escaping the red keep can still win!!!

arc v 31-40 thoughts. um. um well, yes………these kids need therapy, to preface this…holy shit ? wow. a lot happened in this stretch of episodes, answered some questions and raised 4000 more. anyway.

-SHINGO TRYING SOOOOO HARD TO BE COOL BUT BEING A MASSIVE DORK IS JUST ENDEARING ME TO HIM SO MUCH MORE. HES LIKE SHOOTING UP MY RANKING. which right as im typing this on 31, is yuzu, shingo, sora, masumi, reiji, and michio as my favs (probably in that order, too. im just as shocked sora got up so high, considering i was ANNOYED when he showed up first LMAO his friendship with yuzu is so endearing tho…)

-new opening! interesting imagery in it, but def liked OP 1 way more song-wise. -_-

-every word out of shingo's mouth im like . yeah ok im loving him hes SO funny JSDHFJK . his deck is furry samurai too, which is. well. its very good.

-reiji seems more concerned with his own goals to see yuya as a proper rival! I think he just sees him as the son of someone he admired, and someone of interest bc of pendulum! I dont think he thinks of this 14 yr old as a threat to his status or anything! which is the usual ygo rival MO…feels like shingo really is that rival character, which makes more sense to me given my expectations for a rival lol! 31-32 were the eps that made me start rly like yuya more (not that I disliked him before! just…he felt more like a protag when he started getting super into it!!! yes show some passion tomato boy!!!)

-wasnt too crazy about the new outro, either (the visuals were nice at least!)

-ok shingo is def the rival, right? right. a lil gay with it. theyre so CUTE firing each other up so much, its actually pretty fun and theyre both having a good time getting the crowd worked up together…wholesome! like, very very wholesome! 32 might be one of my fav eps, along with the yuzu/masumi 2nd duel…

-cannot fucking explain the drop in my stomach when getting to an episode just titled 'neo heartland city' and nothing else. NO NONOONO. NOT MY FUCKING CITY WITH MY FUCKING BLORBOS. EVEN IF ITS SOME KIND OF AU SITUATION IM SO SCARED.

-called it with the masumi being some kind of brainwashed to think shun was always lds! me and yuzu are on the same page

-ok seeing heartland city field spell was DISTURBING LIKE WATCHING A ZOMBIE OF A LOVED ONE BEING REANIMATED. all of the charas are calling it futuristic.. so is... is arc v chronologically in the PAST???? are all the dimensions also on different YEARS or??

-christ alive! reiji is doing the heartland city field spell on PURPOSE TO UPSET SHUN??? 'he should be happy' BITCH HE ISNT HAPPY. SHUN IS A HEARTLANDER. WHICH I ASSUMED BC XYZ, BUT YEAH. YEAH. WHAT HAPPENED BUDDY TELL ME!!!

-oh god

-oh god. what the fuck, sora.

-ok. well. i knew this would happen. could not have predicted HOW or the fucking tone shift. I have whiplash. this was hard to watch, I literally had to keep pausing to get up, pace, breath, then come and sit again. several times. the actively being super fake from sora, trying to be cheerful and nonchalant and a bit bratty but still trying to hype the crowd, then the gradual, then frantic build up to someone clearly UnWell and Maniacal and SADISTIC and DESPERATE to Say the Least...insanely well done, hard to watch bc it HURTS. LIKE.

-what the hell, sora. -what the HELL. its not like I ever ENTIRELY trusted him, but my GOD. the execution was flawless

-'hunting you all is FUN and not hard at ALL and I LOVE IT' OK???? 13 YR OLD LOVES GENOCIDE. AND THE OTHER 14? 15? YEAR OLD CLEARLY TRAUMATIZED. BUT IN A RESISTANCE OF SOME KIND. COOL COOL COOL. ALL MY FAVS ARE PROB DEAD OR IN CARDS AUGH.

-both of them need therapy. this whole ordeal, soras scary creepy faces, making children cry, using the scariest creepycute monsters ive ever seen? endears him more to me somehow. hes a littol fucked up actually…more than expected…I can VIBE with that. I LIKE characters that are a Little Fucked and yugioh has NO shortage of them. might have to swap around that fav charas order list immediately.

-I felt bad for shun the entire duel, my god it was cruel of reiji to pull this field up! its! fucking heartland city! AAUGH IM SAD TOO, SHUN.

-fucking . horrifying how desperate sora is to win. shun is fighting for resistance and for survival, sora is trying to prove he can easily 'hunt' xyz users…which, he obv Cant Easily Do, he gets Squished, loses, passes out and has to go to the hospital. thru out this ordeal yuya and co are becoming progressively more horrified, but still care for their friend! awful awful painful to watch. but also, they might be the only ppl sora has in this dimension and I think. i think we can Fix Him. hes YOUNG we can FIX that mindset, right…or am I being too optimistic. idk the way it was framed and how much yuzu and yuya care abt him…I feel like he'll be helped (I hope??? child soldiers bad)

-the next ep opens with yuya, gongenzaka and yuzu actually TALKING ABOUT ALL THIS, swapping info, and thank GOD for that!!!! I felt like yuzu was the only one of them involved heavily in the main plot for a while there!!! yuya was actually pretty serious about it, which is Nice to see (again, hes starting to feel more like a 'protag' to me now…)

-sora and yuto confrontation leads to an escape from the hospital and a duel, of course…that shun doesnt WANT to continue bc sora is obviously! hurt! and yuto isnt HEARTLESS. sora is desperate to Prove Himself (making me wonder if academia punishes ppl who dont…do well or agree to help them…) and fucking yuya finally steps in to help. altho given the context clues. well buddy it doesnt sound like soras on the Correct Side! it sounds like! hes the bad guy here! (or, raised in that mindset at least, not the main bad guy but def needs to be treated carefully) n u shouldnt be dueling yuto at all bc u dont understand the situation!! AUGH. I GET it tho, the little blue freeloader has been eatin pancakes with u everyday for how long,, hes grown on ME TOO SO I CANT SAY ANYTHING. AUGH.

-sora got Sucked Back to fusion dimension bc his identity was compromised. THATS why he couldnt tell anyone! actually very understandable.

-yuto and yuya stopped their duel, realizing they have absolutely NO reason to fight, and yuto was very reasonable and explained everything! im shocked at the straightforward answers to a lot of my questions (I still have a lot more…interesting yuya's dimension is 'standard'…hm)

-they analyzed soras memories without consent while he was unconscious………………dude. dont DO THAT!!!

-banana hair is here! on a bike! I'm a lil confused at synchro's role in the war? they were recruited by fusion?? to help crush xyz?? or just yugo was?? or its a misunderstanding somehow bc they both seem to think the other stole something (someone, right?)... is my ASSUMPTION (at the start of 37 as I type this) which is…ok, reiji's dad is behind it for Some Reason. Why? why just target xyz?

-also where is dm in all of this? (…ok I have a THEORY with NO basis, that arc v/standard dimension is the direct branch of dm but years later. NO basis for this but it would explain where dm fits in, maybe? like arc v being an alternate branch instead of gx, and gx being the actual odd one out on the timeline?? I dont KNOW yet. I think zexal implied 5ds never happened at one point, right?? VERY confused LMAO)

-yugo? (sub says HYUGO which is very funny to me, I know theyre all yu-boys tho. cant fool me) is SILLY.

-ok, theres def four yuya-lookalikes (and yuzu, based on the ruri stuff). I've seen their designs before so I knew that obv, and one for every dimension. why…? whenever they summon their lil dragons and those start resonating they start to go. um. murder-y! yuya snapped yuto out of it, but STILL. I'm assuming this has something to do with…why theres four lookalikes, and yuzu and yuya's Magic Accessories. somehow. I assume maybe…not everyone has alternate dimension counterparts, maybe the accessories have a lot to do with it (~dimension magic~ ??) and them being too close starts to make them go a lil. crazy. (like. saying destroy everything jkdafjk) bc theyre all diff versions of the same person? like just born into diff dimensions. (insert trust no one not even urself memes here lol) and they have diff personalities based on their diff lives/families ofc…this is my theory For Now. lets see yuzu and ruri get close together to see if they also go crazy or What. I Am Waiting

-….yuto didnt DIE die just now right? he vanished. maybe he went back to his home dimension. it LOOKED like a death scene, but my god its ep 37! out of 150ish! he was set up as a main player right?? hes not DEAD dead??? yuya passed out for TWOOOO DAYS AFTER WITNESSING THIS???? he has the constitution of a sickly victorian maiden. (but also, is he just in his room and NOT A HOSPITAL??? HES IN A COMA!!! take him to the hospital tf!!! why are they entertaining meirus crystal spiritual healing!!! )

-oh my god YUZU is the one the bad guy wants? shes an important PIECE. NOT YUYA. AGAIN MAIN CHARACTER STATUSSSS I KEEP SAYING IT BUT. SHES SO IMPORTANT. (can I assume this shadowy bad guy figure is reijis dad? like thats gotta be, right)

i have a szaktars at uni and im so fucking convinced he dabbles in occultism and has some form of glamour spell

like. the way i never recognize this man in or outside of class, even when he's face to face with me. in like april i was walking talking w a szaktars as well as this guy, and i was convinced that either 1 he is just a friend of my szaktars bc ive never seen him before in my life or 2 im literally just blind even tho i know every other persons face in my course

and like. he is attractive! hes super attractive and i definitely notice people i find attractive when they walk into class or something, so youd think that would mean i notice him but i dont!

she has a single wing on her right side and purple eyes. yes, multiple eyes on one side bc im a sucker for Eyes. she usually hides them with a glamour spell. no puyo hat but the hood of her shirt covers her head (and possibly a halo?). her spells are likely based on shades of red with Rose as her final spell, shared with Strange Raffina.

raffina is the one with the book in this au bc. i wanted her to be a Protagonist. the angel in the book is going stir crazy and shes like Im So Normal And Can Be Trusted With A Host ::) (shes the little spirit thing in the middle of the page). she likely inherits amities canon spells (cyclone, acceleration, fairy fire) and shares Rose with amitie. red roses, white roses

bottom left is a sigs secret equivalent scenario. across most of my aus if amities green eyes turn purple Divinity Is Afoot. bottom right is something more akin to quests black sig where he still has the blue eye. red amitie -> light/white amitie, dark/black sig -> blue sig

sig is the reincarnation of some nebulous night god (i havent quite hammered out what i think the demons domain is but its definitely something to do with the night/moon/dreams. sun and moon duality yknow?). hes still kinda absentminded but more energetic. he still adores bugs. either he gets strange klugs canon spellset or a new one with Bugs.

im not sure what you mean by 'ramons admin names go qnpc03 > binary > qsmp13' ? thats not the case. the qnpc03 account is still binary, thats an easy check on namemc, just like all the other eggs accounts (02, 04, 05, 07, etc)

i agree that this admin is really good at playing ramon(if its not the og which is what i believe)! its definitely his essence, but its just little things combined with timing and the account. ramon came back and was normal and acting like himself (you could see it was the 03 account's binary numbers) was gone a whole week along w leo and dapper and when he comes back, its a new account fit had to add to his rooms allowlist (qsmp13), that wakes up basically every day and stays all day on, and acts like ramon but..a little off. something that was always characteristic about ramon was not only that he types slow, but that he spells english words wrong a lot, and misuses them sometimes. he types slow most likely because hes not as confident in his english and i have seen literally None of this recently. also emoticons. where are the ;-; and :v. thats my boy. wheres my boy.

im not gonna get into how quickly he clung to sunny and built her a statue and stayed with her all day everyday bc that Could be in character it just felt a liittle. weird to me . also its not really difficult to find another admin that knows abt create ! i would assume that was one of the main criteria to find a substitute xD

and yeah youre right about all admins having accounts but None of the eggs have switched accounts. its still qnpc0X but renamed to binary, theyre all on their og accounts and so was ramon a couple weeks ago

1 - ive followed them from the veru start, even before she made a shop. given that insigjt, i have seen her personally talj about makng her oown pacis for well over 2 years before her shop even opened. she was already discussing th long process of makung her very own pacis at that point sk she had done this rwsearch evem before talking about it on her personal.

2 - bubblcub dosnt make completely their own pacis, its a regular paci bqse with craft foam to make ears and stuff on top. Whereas, BBB makes their completely own pacis allowing her to make any mold she wants, custom colors, etc! theres honestly no equal way yo reallycompare thm. BBB releasd first & did all the reasearch & biying of really expensive food grade resin so it wouldnt hurt hwr customers. she specifically asked that peopl 1- dont copy her designs & 2- dont be stupid and hurt peiple by trying to cut cornwrs or make their own pacis with unsafe resin thatcan causr so many issues especiallu being so near your mouth, shes always carwd abot safety fist.

3 - the only reason BBB called out bubbecub is becaus they were the first two directly copy her designs & being a huge acct bubnlecub got a lot of attwntion and blew up over this supposdly “new“ idea. it was jst really shitty overall to see BBB jyst starting up wiyh yhe besy pacis and most variety ive seen of ajyone and bubblcub swooped in to take advanage of a small shops succss and ideas. everyonr else thats copied she jyst puy a general warniny that shes working on a patent fo the idea so be careful if you copy hr direst designs. BBB is not into drama if you pay attwntion & habe followrd sinc th beginning like me!

4 - BBB also dos insane paint work wkth her desings, bubblecub xciuld never top that either givn the insane artist bun is. Bubblecub sticks to th same old sam old basic one-size rhinestones and people still hype them so hard, lilke what happenef to helping small businesses? what happened to simply givint credit? also from being a clse friwnd i happen to know whats goung to be released soon & new items tht are coming! you bey your ass BBB is going to skyrocket with this stufr, i dont know how she didnt from the very start with beint able to make LITERALLY any color and any shqpe.

ok. ao. ive unlocked most of the map now. and i think im getting into endgame territory. based on the storyline and the op items im getting now.

uh. so i killed that first dreamer. so im just going to stick to the path and keep killing dreamers even though its making me really sad :( i just got to the top of watchers spire and. this one rlly hurt. at least spiders were scary. watchers is in the top of my fav city and theres a little telescope where u can see where she looked thru. and then you see her lying peacefully on the bed which is what freaked me out last time too. and to make matters worse they stuck one of the little scared guys up there to make you really feel like a monster bc its a reminder that some of them dont even want to fight you why are you fighting them? i think i was always destined to be the villain of this story

AND ON THAT NOTE. CONFIRMATION ON ALL THE LITTLE HINTS ABT HOW YOURE NOT EXACTLY THE GOOD GUY HERE. OR AT LEAST YOURE CAUSING A LOT OF PAIN IN THE MEANTIME. UH. DREAM NAIL. SO I GOT A CHARM THAT CHARGES DREAM NAIL FASTER. im like huh. what the hell is that for. all the things i use the dreamnail on are stationary? but im like oh of course! i need it to charge faster if i can use it on normal mobs. so i excitedly equip the charm to go see what cool tech this dream nail does on mobs.

the tech is psychological horror. i can now read everyones thoughts. hooray. so far ive had two results for mobs: 1) horrible pain 2) horrified confusion and immobility. cause. turns out. the coreopsis point. was actually. going to get answered. theyre. the orange eyes and aggressiveness is partially Planned. theyre all asleep. the sleep wasnt just the dreamers. its all the citizens of hollownest. to contain the infection they wove some sort of spell that put all infected in a pseudo slumber that repels anyone from trying to come in. theyre unwitting defenders of outsiders who may venture too deep and unknowingly spread the disease. either intentionally or by accident, theyre the perfect defense. agonized and aggressive because of it they lash out to anyone and keep curious wanderers away.

this was at least part of the sacrifice. i havent dream nailed everyone yet but i know thwts part of it. my next step is to dream nail the unnerving beast in the dusty underground area. the area with the pale king. who is the pale king? i donated at least. there were inscriptions that described a sacrifice. what sacrifice? there were corpses everywhere of bugs wearing robes id never seen before. what did they do? who is the white knight corpse that i cant stir with the dream nail? whats behind the door? they were instrumental to containing the plague. what did they do?

ALSO I BEGAN TO SUSPECT THE ORANGE DUST WASNT JUST INFECTION RUNNING WILD BC THE FIGHT I GOT STUCK ON IN THE SPIRE WAS SUSPICIOUS. THE ROLLY DEFENDERS? THEY WERE BEING SPECIFICALLY REANIMATED BY THE CLOUD OF ORANGE DUST ABOVE TO DEFEND THE DREAMER. THAT WAS SUSPICIOUS. THEY WERE BEING CONTROLLED, POSSESSED. THATS NOT JUST ILLNESS. THATS CONSCIOUSNESS AT PLAY

im feeling so guilty discovering the dream nail :((( even the littlest mobs have thoughts like "hungry....scared.....dark safe..." AND IT MAKES ME SAAAAAAAAD IM SORRYYYYYYY
