im having more thoughts about that tmnt sweet toot au. i think Splinter (still Hamato Yoshi) and his wife were on an ill-timed trip to New York when the sick broke out, and they ended up sort of stranded because in an effort to contain the sick, no one was allowed in or out of the country. Tang Shen unfortunately caught it, and after her death, Splinter kinda just gave up on life and went to live in a cabin in the woods while quietly hoping the sick would claim him too. hes been out there alone for a while when he finds the turtles and they restore his will to live :)

Instead of Ghostbur being ‘created’ when Wilbur died Wilbur’s ghost actually has full memory and kinda is just live deadbur/how Wilbur was in the afterlife

But also instead of being visible and all that stuff he’s more like a hidden ‘horrorish’ ghost

Like with the seeing just in the corner in your eye, reflection and sometimes hearing a guitar or a voice singing a simslar melody.

Anyways the plot I was thinking of was Mostly Phil/Fundy/tommy/etc getting haunted by him.

Which kinda ranged from horrorish angst to just more silly fluff with the ideas-

Anyways the angst route is Wilbur being avoided and then being scared of him/thinking he’s not real with maybe eventual confrontation between Wilbur and others (Thinking ab Phil + Wilbur confrontation mostly, or Fundy + Wilbur (like when Fundy confronted Ghostbur but Wilbur remembers more)

And the fluff is just mostly light ‘crack’ with Wilbur leaving notes and all that stuff (That might be written on with blue, just bc I like the style choiche/I heard ab  Wilbur’s/Ghostburs blood maybe being blue and thought that would be cool-)
