finished my first kurnoth hunter today! this guy was kind of a test run for a lot of things but he came out pretty great. my first time trying to do highlights as well as basing. i may have glued some of my flock to my fingers by mistake, lmao

but yeah the base is pretty much just a combo of cheap grass flock, some teeny pebbles, and a couple army painter grass tufts, all over some stirland mud. nothin fancy, but it really helps bring the mini to life :)

#gutsys mini tag #miniature painting #mini painting #warhammer age of sigmar #sylvaneth #the main reason im painting these kurnoths is because i reaaaally want to get belthanos sometime and i figured these would be good practice #yeah i went back n forth on colours a bit but im a sucker for pink so magenta leaves it was #i like the idea of the little sprites turning into the arrows too. hence why its coiled as if its about to fire itself off the bow #the only thing im not 100% on with these guys is the weapon/bug colours. i think i couldve stood to do a little more shading or variation #maybe introducing a lighter shade of blue or something? i dont own many blue paints rn though #basically just the two i used (kroxigor scales and aethermatic blue) so im working with what i got
