Our dedication is to serve everybody by striving to supply safe and equitable entry to state parks and company applications. Beverly Beach State Park is close to Lincoln City and looks like a wonderful Oregon coast campground. Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area could be quite busy with OHVs, but Eel Creek Campground is nicely placed in the midst of one of the area's non-motorized zones. The discount in noise and site visitors makes for a nice camping experience and safer strolling out into the dunes themselves. The mind-blowing John Dellenback Trail could be accessed right from the campground as nicely. Picking up forgotten supplies is simple, with Reedsport only 10 miles to the north.
There are two loops – Loop A and Loop B. They are very similar and proper subsequent to one another. The largest RV length you presumably can match in this campground is 56 feet, however there is solely one possibility at that length. You may have a few more options around the 50-foot size or barely much less. There are some evaluations of theft at one level in this campground, so it's advised to lock up valuables and turbines. During our final trip to Coos Bay, we spent a lot of time at this part of the coast. Half Moon Bay Campground is a favourite for these ATV riders trying to discover the Oregon Sand Dunes.
The proximity to the ocean is difficult to beat and the calming sound of the ocean lulling campers to sleep is all however assured at this epic Oregon Coast campground. We’re on our second one after the primary one wore out after 4+ years of fixed use. Shortly after meeting my husband we embarked on a whirlwind tour of Oregon state — visiting every Oregon coast camping corner and popping off at each small coastal city we passed. Typically September via mid October has the best weather of the entire 12 months on the Oregon Coast.

📍sandhill, barview jetty campground
my family goes on yearly camping trips to barview jetty every summer. i’ve moved to california with my partner last october so we had to roadtrip down, with our beagle maui in the backseat too.
i’m glad i didn’t miss it, it’s therapeutic for me being there (home too). i remember when climbing up the sandhill was no big deal, my cousins and i would create whole dance routines to ask our parents to walk us over there because we were too little to go by ourselves. it’s kind of funny just walking there by ourselves now, and we climb up it still together.
i took this midway into the trip during the sunset. when i post more pictures you will see but from on the top of the hill you can see the ocean and jetty, it’s super pretty.

Quarantinacation Day 2 | Barview Jetty County Campground | Rockaway Beach OR
We left Barview Jetty Campground (and dreamy site #U15 on the corner with direct beach access) after getting kicked out today. Long story having to do with a bunch of covid fallout: understaffed, mismanaged, government jobs, etc. It certainly didn’t need to be as dramatic an exit as I made it, but I probably had just the right amount of PMS to nail any well-meaning but slightly annoying little yip of a twenty-something to the wall with very little to go on.
It happens to the best of us.
I’m not proud.
It was already obvious that we needed to pack up and leave - and we were doing just that - even though we were mistakenly told several times earlier that it was a “no reservation'' site and if we were the lucky ones to snag it, we could have it. But Melissa - in her official blazing yellow Parks and Rec polo shirt came over to “have a chat” with me. She didn’t need to rub it in. But she did.
Just before 3:00pm check in, someone official came over and marked our site with a tag reading, “Reserved for Wessel Aug. 11-14”. Apparently some people have the wherewithal to reserve campsites in advance and, well, I guess Wolfisaki's conduct our camping business slightly more... Casually.
So, Melissa - in all of her twenty-something flair, demanded, “who told you that you could stay here? Describe them!” And against my better judgement I did describe those very kind and well-meaning folks because I chose to cover my own ass and make sure she knew we weren’t lying about getting permission to stay there, we are rule followers after all. I certainly didn’t want to throw anyone under the bus and it made me feel shitty about myself which then made me feel like punching her in her perky little mouth.
Listen, can we give a little value to the employees who are staying and choosing to work through a pandemic? Why you gotta be the smartass on your soapbox curtly assuring me that you’ll be sure to have a talk with them. As if that will solve any of our problems. We’re still out of a campsite late in the day on the nose of a Portland heatwave and now three different camp hosts are going to get reamed on my behalf - even though they’re probably doing the jobs of a dozen people each and, I’m sure, the very best they can with the limited resources they have.
Melissa. With all of the power and knowledge of every twenty-something who ever came before her, who will personally see to righting their wrongs. Pshhh. Go away. Come back when your metabolism skids into the pothole where pasta dinners go to die and you’re not mooching off your parents health insurance anymore and then we can “have a chat.”
But we tucked our tails and fled Barview Jetty Campground on Melissa's parting words, “and make sure it’s clean!” As she turned abruptly on her heels, flipped her ponytail over her shoulder and huffed away. And, well, we did, because that’s what we do, poor Wessel’s don't deserve to arrive at a messy campsite because of my little PMS meltdown.
I never paid for that campsite nor was I asked to and I am still happy about that. The End.

When we arrived, we received an actions calendar, however the only exercise we attempted to attend was a bonfire at the group fireplace pit space. Apparently, it was a member-led exercise, and that member didn’t show up, so no bonfire. There is Wi-Fi out there throughout the park for a charge, but it's free in the clubhouses and laundry room. We had 2-3 bars of 4G LTE of Verizon and AT&T throughout most of the park. The Oregon coast is a wonderful place to name home for a couple of days, weeks, or months when taking a highway journey in an RV.
The summer time months are undoubtedly the most effective time for Oregon coast camping. The weather is typically nice at the moment of the 12 months, but it's also the most crowded time to go to. I’ve heard it’s great to visit in the spring and fall when the parks are not so crowded.
