MILES falling inlove with you was.. rough. After you had no contact for so long, it felt like the one way he could meet you was in his dreams and face the dread aswell as the emptiness in his heart when he wakes up.
When he sees you again, it's almost instant the way he pulls you in for the tightest hug on earth. Miles is whispering sweet nothings about how much he misses you, the way you never left his mind since the first day you met & how you continue to cloud his every thought.
He just misses you so much, just having someone understand him because it's not the easiest to find people he can casually talk about his stuggles of being Spiderman.. but you were there. You were his safe place, his second home.
HOBIE is forever greatful for the technology that the Spider Society provides and can just make a portal at any time, all the while constantly being able to land in your bed with no fail every single time.
However he is not greatful that he's constantly on missions, and when he's not, you are. But honestly, sneaking off during his free time to visit you is his favorite activity. "Hey there, love." "HOBIEWHATAREYOUDOINGHERE??" (hobie what are you doing here)
Sometimes he thinks its a rare occurence to see you more than 4 times a week. It makes him miss you an awful lot, but those 3 hour cuddle sessions make him forget all his troubles.. so he'll bare it until he's able to see his lovely partner again. <3
PAVITR can't stand being away from you but he loves you too much to complain, he'll suck it in but whenever he gets sad he calls you on his watch and immediately lights up when you pick up and sees your face.
He doesn't demand anything, but all he asks is one call within the day. Little updates when you're given the chance if you want to, he knows you're very very busy like him but he's not immune to missing you, and he misses you so bad.
When he finally sees you again, he's GLUED to you. He's holding your hand, an arm around your shoulder or waist or he's practically carrying you around because he wants you to be super close after being starved of affection.
Conclusion : spidey-boys lack affection, plz give them they need it badly

Trial exams are gonna start soon so I may or may not be active for a few weeks. Anyways these exams remind me of that one night before similar exams a few years ago - I got frightened because I woke up and heard my father yelling at my little sibling, so here's a fic inspired (?) by that
This will be quite similar to my SAGAU "Comfort" fic
----------
Reader's pronouns: they/them
Warnings: implied anxiety / panic attack, cult behaviour
Notes:
1) SAHSR cult AU
2) The Astral Express has a carriage that's used for "connecting" to the reader's world, everyone including the Stellaron Hunters are allowed to enter it as long as they don't start fights in there
------------------------------
Himeko let out a breathy giggle as she watched you sleep.
"Just a few minutes...I'll be back soon..." you had mumbled before falling asleep on your bed with your device still running.
That happened around 2 hours ago.
The red-haired woman sipped at her coffee, sitting on a cushioned chair with a novel on her lap. She would gladly wait till you woke up. For now, she was content with watching over you.
"As much as I want to be able to see Their Grace, it's bad for them if they leave their device on near themselves while sleeping," Natasha said, approaching Himeko and standing behind her.
"I'll see if I can tell them not to do that anymore." Himeko smiled at the doctor.
"They're stirring," Dan Heng reported, gesturing at the hologram. Your brow was scrunched up slightly, and you shifted your grip on your blanket. Faint noises they couldn't place could be heard as your eyes fluttered open and glanced at your device.
"Oh," you said. "Did I make you wait - "
Your sentence was cut off abruptly as a loud yell pierced through the nearly silent carriage. The younger acolytes quickly covered their ears at the sudden noise while the older ones winced.
Apparently you weren't the one who had yelled, as they saw your eyes widen - in shock, fear, some emotion they couldn't describe. You bit down on your lip, pulling your blanket over your head. Your fingers dug into your pillow as you hugged it close and buried your face in it. Himeko swore she saw you quiver ever so slightly. They couldn't see your face, but they could hear your breaths starting to quicken.
"Your Grace?" Jing Yuan stepped closer to the hologram, voicing his concern. You didn't seem to hear him. The glow of your device reflected off something shiny at the corners of your eyes - you were crying.
"Let me try!" With a wave of her hand, Silver Wolf summoned a digital screen and began to type on it rapidly. Crackles of static rang out in tandem with your breaths. After a few minutes, Silver Wolf finally stopped and nodded her head.
"We can talk to them now."
----------
You squeezed your eyes shut, feeling tears escaping them and trickling down your cheeks, dampening your pillowcase. A crackle of static caught your attention - was it from your device? Or was it your imagination? But then you heard a familiar voice say,
"We can talk to them now."
You lifted your tear-stained face and propped yourself up on your elbows to look at said device. You saw Jing Yuan, Himeko and Silver Wolf staring back at you. Several other characters could be seen in the background, including Dan Heng, Natasha, Bailu and Serval.
"Jing...Yuan...?" You choked out a sob.
"Yes, Your Grace, it's me," he said. "Do you want to talk?"
Your hands shot to your ears to block out another yell. The closed door still wasn't enough. A hurt look flashed across Jing Yuan's face - he'd probably assumed that you didn't want to hear his voice right now - before turning into realisation.
"Sorry," you apologised.
"It's alright, Your Grace," he replied. "I understand. Your comfort is most important."
"Your Grace." Natasha showed up on the screen. "Breathe according to my voice, okay? One, two, three..."
You forced yourself to breathe in deeply, then exhale slowly. A few more tries and you could feel that you were calming down.
"Thank you...Natasha..." you managed to say. Now that your breaths had become even, the tears you were trying your best to hold back flooded your eyes.
"You can cry, Your Grace," Bailu said. The camera had tilted downwards to show the Vidyadhara healer. "You can cry for as long as you like."
You buried your face in your pillow once more, sobbing quietly into it. Jing Yuan and the others said nothing, just watched silently as you cried your heart out. After what felt like half an hour, you raised your head to look at your device.
"Sorry," you said, biting back a sob.
"You don't have to apologise, Your Grace," Dan Heng insisted. "Besides, there's nothing to apologise for. Are you feeling better now?"
You nodded in response, slumping onto your bed to lie on your back. Now that your tears had finally run dry, fatigue started to creep into your mind. You yawned and rubbed a hand across your face.
"Are you feeling sleepy, Your Grace?" This voice was unmistakably Serval's. You nodded again, too tired to reply verbally. You device emitted the soft, soothing tune of a lullaby as Serval hummed gently.
Before you slipped into unconsciousness, you heard one last sentence from your device.
"Sweet dreams, Your Grace."
----------
Everything seemed so surreal the next morning.
You logged into the game, but couldn't find any place on the Astral Express or the planets that looked like the background shown last night.
All of the characters were still in their original spots, and as usual, they would only face the model of your vessel character when approached - never the screen.
You had assumed that it was all a dream.
But it wasn't.
Give us a little more time, Your Grace, and we'll bring you to our world, away from that thing (or anything else) which caused you pain.
------------------------------
I've only ever gone through this once so I don't know if it even is considered a panic / anxiety attack ;^^ I've checked the symptoms of both online and some of mine are similar to them but I'm still not sure, hence the "implied" in the warning.

Hii, how was your day? I wonder if you could make a platonic yandere xianzhou with the characters you want(but I like to include Jing Yuan or Yanqing) with qiqi!reader. If this make you feel incomfortable don't hesitate to tell me or block me. Take care of yourself!!
My day is great, thanks for asking😀
Trigger Warning: Yandere, Obsessive behaviour, Possessive behaviour, Kidnapping
Jing Yuan: He is at first concerned, are you an expermient of sanctus medicus. He follows you around to see if you're safe to have around people. He sees you stretching and forgetting all kinds of things, he thinks you are pretty cute.
He decides to take you to his home, make sure you are safe. Jing Yuan repeats his name to you every day so you can remember him. He just finds you so cute, you are like a stress reliever.
"I have had a stressful day, come make me feel better"
Yanqing: WHY ARE YOU SO CUTE, Instantaneously becomes an overprotective brother to you, he teaches you sword skills so you can defend yourself, even if you forget them most of the time, he does not care, he likes spending time with you.
Does not like when you talk to others, your big brother is here, ignore those vermin. Will not try to help you with your memory, Yanqing finds it easier if you just forget who you were talking to, no one deserves you, not even he himself.
"Why were you talking to them, isn't your big brother enough"
Bailu: You interest her, you are somehow staying alive after death without an aeons help. She wants to study you and understand how this works. Somewhere along the way she started seeing you as a friend instead of something that can help advance her medical knowledge.
Bailu gets worried alot about you, you forget alot of things, even her sometimes. She gives you a dairy so you can write down things before you forget. Bailu also likes to hug you, it feels nice and cold. Just don't try to leave her, the vidyadhara can be quite... Possessive.
"Where are you going, it's better if you just stay here with me"
Was this what you had in mind🤔

“When will brother be back?”
You looked down at the little girl who was resting at your side. She looked up at you with those large eyes that reminded you of the ocean waves touching the beach.
They were beautiful, but honestly they also made you sad. She was the golden sand, unable to leave the protection of the land. While her brother was the ocean, impenetrable. No matter how deep you went, there would always be something hidden deeper.
Brushing the hair that had fallen near her eyes, you answered her. “He’ll be back soon, Bailu.”
She huffed, sitting up. “Why is he always out so late? Doesn’t he know that that’s bad for you!”
You smiled, gently persuading her to lay back down. “You’re right. Which is why you need to rest, so that you can grow big and strong.”
“Not until he gets back.”
You held back a sigh. There was no point in arguing any further. You knew that when Bailu got like this, there was no changing her mind. Especially when it had to do with her brother. The two of them were incredibly stubborn like that.
jing, jing
You paused, glancing at the entryway, then at Bailu who had fallen asleep. You smiled. No matter how much older she attempted to act, she was still just a little, growing girl.
You gently removed yourself from her, making your way to greet the person beyond the door.
He was already in the house, back turned to shut the door as quietly as possible as he toed out of his shoes. When he did turn around, he jolted, obviously not expecting you.
“...you’re still awake.”
You frowned. He was refusing to make eye contact. “Bailu couldn’t sleep. She tried her hardest to stay up.” You crossed your arms.
He sighed. “She really needs to stop doing that.”
“And you need to stop doing what you're doing, and yet here you are. Late again.”
That got his attention, you thought as his eyes snapped up to meet yours.
“You know why I have to do this.”
“I know why you say that you have to do it, but that doesn’t mean that—”
He had moved closer, into your personal space, forcing you to acknowledge the change in his demeanor.
“It does.” He sighed roughly. “...It does if it keeps you and Bailu safe.”
You glared at him. “The sins of your father are not yours to bear.”
You hated their father, Dan Feng, a no good man who left nothing to his children, but pain and suffering.
“They are when there is no one left to bear them.”
And you hated that this man forced his own son to think that he had to settle the debt of his wrongdoings. The people he were tied up with wouldn’t leave him alone until after the debt was paid in cash or otherwise.
And you refused to let it be otherwise.
“How many times have I told you that I can help. Just let me—” You tired, but he cut you off.
“I refuse to allow you to get involved any further than what you already have.” He took a step closer, which forced you to take a step back. His hand snatched your wrist, pulling closer as he leaned down toward your ear. “I am grateful for you for watching over Bailu, truly I am. But if you keep digging, where you don’t belong, I’ll have to remove you myself.” He released you, pushing you, and disappearing further into the home.
‘How much longer?’
You put Bailu to bed, before retiring to your own room.
How much longer would he inflict such suffering on himself? How much longer did he have before it torn him asunder?
Tumblr media
The answer: Not long.
Thankfully, Bailu had a sleepover tonight and wasn’t home to see…this.
He was badly bloody and bruised, shallow breaths the only thing signaling that he wasn’t dead.
It was silent between the two of you as you worked on patching him up.
It was silent as he retreated to his room while you cleaned the aftermath.
It was silent as you watched him you.
Both of you having so much to say, but neither of you knowing how to say it.
And so you didn’t, actions spoke louder than words after all, didn’t they?
Tumblr media
“Hello, Blade.”
BANG
“Goodnight, Yingxing.”
Tumblr media
Click
tap, tap, Tap, Tap, Tap, Tap
The bridge of silence had grown between you. Neither knowing the other anymore. The deep relationship that the two of you had formed had been destroyed by you.
But you were fine with that, you made your bed that day, and now it was time to lie in it.
You finished off the drink you had been nursing. “I don’t regret what I did, so I hope you weren’t expecting to lecture me.”
“No…rather, I’d like to thank you.”
You peered at him through your lashes. “Oh?”
He stepped closer, not into your personal space, but at the edge of that. “Yes, I understand. Just as I want to protect you and Bailu, you wanted to protect Bailu and I.”
You smiled, presenting him your hand. “And now we can protect her together.”
He placed a kiss on the knuckle of your middle finger. “Yes…”
Tumblr media
BANG, BANG
No one would dare touch the Little Lady of the Dragon.
Least they be devoured in its bloody maw.
Tumblr media
Um, so me and Rogue were talking about things, and it devolved into how I view Dan Heng and Bailu as siblings. Um, I wanted to make something more hurt/comfort-y, but I instead manifested this...at like 1-2am, so yea...hope you enjoyed...this.
Also, can you tell I've been reading a lot of manwhas lmao

𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐭 - 𝐘𝐚𝐧𝐪𝐢𝐧𝐠
-> In which it takes a talking and diagnosis for Yanqing to realize he was more than capable of having a crush. (1.1k words) (req by @xx-yanqing-anonymous-xx )
Cw) oblivious dork yanqing and guiding father figure jing yuan agenda
18+ DNI! Yanqing is explicitly stated to be around 14-16 in his character story, and I am not comfortable with adults reading romantic content with a minor.
Tumblr media
"General, I think I need to see a healer."
Jing Yuan halted in his movements, carefully turning his head towards the young lieutenant. Besides the stern expression plastered on his face, Yanqing looked like his usual self. There wasn't a sign of illness in sight.
"Is there something wrong? You aren't pale..." The General gently brushed the younger's bangs upwards, placing the back of his hand on the blonde's forehead. "And you're body temperature is perfectly fine."
"It's not noticeable on the outside, General!" Yanqing blurted, the same stern expression displayed on his features. "I think I'm cursed..."
Jing Yuan only stared at the boy. Cursed? While it's not a common occurrence on the Luofu in the slightest, he wouldn't be all that surprised. Higher ranking Cloud Knights are always more widely known, and therefore more sought offer with more malicious intentions by criminals.
And Yanqing was a lieutenant, after all.
"And just what makes you believe that, Yanqing?" The elder inquired. He always believed Yanqing, but in this case, he wondered if the boy was exaggerating a personal feeling. It wouldn't be entirely out of character.
"It's (Name)! Whenever I'm near them, my heart rate increases and my face gets real hot! It's uncomfortable, and I can only imagine it being some sort of curse, right?"
The General deadpanned.
"What's with that face! General, you've gotta believe me!" Yanqing blatted, stern expression replaced with a comical irritated face.
"Oh Yanqing, have you ever heard of the phrase 'having a crush'?"
'Having a crush? Having a... crush?' He thought to himself curiously. It was a phrase he's heard of. Many times, in fact. On nearly every patrol he'd pass different groups of teenage girls talking amongst themselves, the words "your crush?" or "the one I like" getting thrown around once or twice.
But weren't 'crushes' meant for non Cloud Knights? Not once has he heard a single knight discuss their love life. At least, not on the job. The lieutenant simply chucked simple matters such as love aside.
Maybe if love came in the shape of a sword he'd pay more mind to it.
"I think this 'curse' of yours are merely romantic feelings for (Name). That's not something to be ashamed of, no?" Jing Yuan reasoned with the boy, only making the young lieutenant scoff in response.
"And just what would you know about love, General?" Yanqing interrogated teasingly. To no avail, Jing Yuan only brushed his inquires off. "Why don't you go visit (Name)? See if that 'curse' of yours is still intact." The General teased back, something Yanqing didn't brush off.
"You know what? I will! Thanks for the help, General. But I'm sure I'm not experiencing a crush." The Cloud Knight Lieutenant muttered the last part under his breath, feeling a tad bit rude for telling the General he was wrong. Jing Yuan waved him off, resuming his paperwork.
"The General told me it was a 'crush...' but I'm still sure this is a curse. Bailu, is there anything you can do about this?"
The small healer never experienced a patient like this.
Most of her patients came to her for a diagnosis of something they didn't know of. If the diagnosis was something serious, it wasn't out of the ordinary for a patient to be in denial for a moment. But with time, they come to accept their condition.
Yet this boy was a whole other story.
Yanqing would prefer hearing he was cursed rather than the (much better) alternative; having a crush.
"I'm sorry, there's nothing I can do for you." Bailu declared, ready to send the blonde out and call in her next patient.
"But wait! Are you sure? My heart beating that fast can't be normal, right? Aren't there any prescriptions for that?" Question after question... Bailu was getting quite fed up. "Well, there's nothing I can do... but..."
"But?" Yanqing asked enthusiastically
"There's something you could do."
Yanqing didn't know who to blame for his current situation.
One of the Luofu's greatest healers, or the Cloud Knight General. Whosever's fault it is, he knew they were only partially to blame. No matter how much he refutes any blame, he knew deep down this was partially his own fault.
Yes, it was Yanqing's own fault he stood dressed in his finest attire, with a bouquet of roses in hand.
Who was the bouquet meant for?
"Yanqing?" Your familiar voice called out. He didn't have to turn to know it was you, not anymore, at least.
The blood that rushed to his face, his heartbeat gradually speeding up, there was only one person on the entire Luofu that had that kind affect on him.
"Make sure to let them know how you feel while your at it!"
"You want a diagnosis so badly? I'll give you one. I diagnosis you with the fattest crush known to The Xianzhou Luofu. Will that do?"
The words the lieutenant previously deafened replayed in his mind, now louder than ever.
He'd resort to calling these feelings a 'curse' just to run from his feelings. He's not sure why he was so adamant about avoiding these feelings. Because now that you're mere feet away from him, he finally began to appreciate the fuzzy feeling you gave him.
Because while he can run from his feelings all he wants, he could never run from you.
"I- well... I have something I wanna tell you." He started slowly, trying to find the right words. You stood there patiently, and Yanqing could feel his face growing warmer and warmer and his heartbeat faster and faster. "You see, I..."
"I really like you, (Name)! I really really like you. Will you go out with me?" He held his head low and pushed the bouquet of roses forward, in front of you. Your lack of response was worrisome, so worrisome in fact that the blonde considered running again.
"I'll answer you if you look at me, Yanqing." You calmly requested, seemingly unbothered. The lieutenant slowly lifted his head, locking eyes with you after a few seconds. "If you're gonna say that kind of thing, at least look a little more confident."
You carefully took the bouquet from his hands, holding it gently to your torso. "I like you too, Yanqing. I really really like you too, actually." Your imitation of him made him chuckle.
He looked ethereal under the beaming sun, the light highlighting his features was almost too perfect.
It was so perfect in fact, you couldn't help but place a sweet kiss on his cheek.
"So, who put you up to this, boyfriend." You teased, gesturing to the almost fancy attire he wore. He was still in shock from the kiss, of course. Calling him your boyfriend on top of that was certainly not helping his situation.
"Ah- well, it's a long story... lover?"

WE WERE ONCE ONE
part!1: Prologue
Content Warning!: Angst, Fluff?, gn!reader, unhealthy obsessions, graphic depictions of violence (rarely), trauma, spoilers!, (Some of the lore here is accurate cuz i did my research😡) Note: The reader is part of the high cloud quintet- and is also a long life species. So they are vulnerable to mara- but Bailu helps in keeping it suppressed. They still have some amount of control on themselves.
Tumblr media
🌘 🦁 🐉 ❤️‍🩹 💀
When the high cloud quintet broke apart years ago, you isolated yourself away from people- only ever paying attention to the new found creation made by Dan Feng: Bailu. She was so clever, so smart and so much like him. It seemed as if he had pulled a part of his loving personality and inserted it all into her.
Nevertheless, you adored her. She was like your own child, a sibling, a friend, a companion. She had won the hearts of many people, being a healer that is- but. There will always be those who never let of the past. She was still a sin committed by Dan Feng, a being who shouldn't exist.
You often visited the statue of the once honored Vidhyadara Prince at Scalegorge Waterscape, where the Dragon palace was located. You would place flower, bouquets- even certain trinkets at the edge of the statue, and pray for his wellbeing. For you wondered, no- you knew he was alive. He was somewhere out there, and he would return for you someday.
It was an unhealthy obsession of yours, letting yourself completely depend upon the thought that Dan Feng will come back for you. He hadn't been killed- he had just been banished. And despite knowing that his memories had been wiped out after rebirth- your reason for living was purely based on the fact that he was alive.
Bailu had told you so many times, let go of him. Even if he does come back he wouldn't have a clue of what's going on, let alone be allowed to enter the loufu. However much you tried- you always returned to him. No- not him, but his memory. You sobbed lonely into the nights, often being comforted by Bailu herself.
Jing Yuan had become general, he had attempted to visit you- comfort you, assure you that not all is lost. He used to be your best friend, the one you could always rely on after Dan Feng when thinsg went wrong. But you detested him now, you wouldn't speak to him or look at him. It was all his fault- his his his.
"Will you not pull so hard-?!" Bailu asked with a pout, you were so absorbed in your thoughts that you completely forgot about brushing bailu's hair. "I'm sorry.." You mumbled with a gentle smile, your grip on her hair softened and you brushed it with love. "Hehe, you bimbo/himbo!" She giggled as she looked up at you. You giggled in return. "Stay still, unless you wanna end up looking like a lion."
Yes, your life could have been called stable. But it lacked what you most desired, your deepest- most wanted desires. They weren't dark- but they were impossible. And you would spend your entire life waiting for them to be fulfilled.

PLEASE read the full post before response, i am kinda tired of repeating myself. and i am not saying i don't like the tail (i love it actually), but the truth needs to be said AND!!! if i am incorrect, i am sorry for spreading misinformation 🥲
(EDIT: post 1.3 patch update. I am correct, and i am not spreading misinformation. do with this as you will)
edit (adding context): my friend and i (with the help of the internet) have pieces together info from the story and pretty much know what happened in the high cloud quintet and basically this was key info from it that lot's of people are misunderstanding 😎👍
i am so sorry. i don't mean to be that person, but the vidyadhara don't have tails...bailu is the only one with one, and there is a specific reason i won't talk about unless asked bc i know i am right and it would be a SPOILER 💖
but anyways, vidyadhara dan heng (or just all vidyadhara except bailu) doesn't have a tail, so just so you know, it will only ever really be a headcannon 🫡
(btw this is not meant to be aggressive in any sort of way, i just figured people should know, especially when this is an important thing to know for actual game lore later)
EDIT!!! sorry, i should have made myself more clear. i am not talking about his idle, i am talking about base form. also i am pretty sure the one in his idle is simply a phantom one acting more as symbolism than an actual tail. also, i do love reading the hc about him having a tail, i just figured people should know 😎👍
EDIT PT 2!!! also let's say for the argument dan heng's tail is retractable for what ever reason (which it most likely isn't). it doesn't change the fact that current vidyadhara don't have tails or horns (except bailu) 🫡
EDIT PT 3!!! the only vidyadhara that have draconic features are dan heng and bailu. none of the other vidyadhara we meet have any of those features (except the long life and rebirth) because the council (whatever their called) suppressed those powers to prevent the incedent of what happened with dan feng from happeneing again. bailu still has those powers and features for a specific reason that is once again POTENTIAL SPOILERS!!!

Hello sorry if I'm bothering you but I wanted to share one of my ideas with you (this is platonic, didn't want you to get confused) . So what if the reader who is a teenager appeared on the Loufu accidentally causing a small tremor along with a large energy fluctuation so Jing Yuan went to investigate with Fu Xuan going with him and they came across an unconscious person who was not only confused when they awoke but completely exhausted, hungry and with strange markings on some parts of their body and when they got examined by a doctor it was discovered that they had a large amount of strange energy within their body. (This was inspired by the first episode of Aphmau Diaries rebirth, here's the link if you don't know what I'm talking about: https://youtu.be/1Vzq1QZVtuk?si=kyIxOyJTSnTjNaMG) (if you're not comfortable with writing this that's completely alright and I wish you a good morning/afternoon or goodnight☺️)
This was absolutely no bother and I apologise I took so long to post! I couldn't seem to bring myself to write but I have it done now and I hope you enjoy!
Tumblr media
“You could probably coordinate with Bailu-“ Jing Yuan began saying, though paused as he felt the ground begin tremoring.
Both Jing Yuan and Fu Xuan leaned against the nearest wall as it was the most stable object in the room. The two just so happened to be in the middle of a meeting on how to slow down, or stop, the spread of Mara. As impossible as it seemed to them.
“What is the meaning of this?” Fu Xuan asked the General, as if he’d have any clue about the current situation.
“Shouldn’t you know? you’re the master diviner, not me!”
“No such thing was foretold by the Matrix of Prescience!”
“Then how would I know what’s happening?” He asked confused, when suddenly a blinding light came from outside, forcing them to shut their eyes.
“What now?” He sighed, exasperated, shielding his eyes with his hand, as he was facing the window.
Once the light subsided, the room was left in darkness, seemingly alongside the rest of the ship.
With the disappearance of the light, also vanished the shaking, allowing the two of them to finally stand properly.
Jing Yuan made his way over to the window, whilst Fu Xuan dusted off her clothes and fixed her hair.
“It’ll be utter chaos out there.” She sighed, following him to the window.
The entire ship seemed to be having an unexpected blackout at the moment, though the sky remained it’s dark blue hue, it seemed darker than usual.
Jing Yuan looked at Fu Xuan.
“Let’s go” he said, turning around and walking to the door of their meeting room.
“Where exactly?”
“To where that light came from. I’m positive it was in the Exalting Sanctum.”
Fu Xuan sighed and followed him.
“Fine, I will humour your request. Let us head to Exalting Sanctum.”
The Exalting Sanctum is exactly where you woke up.
You opened your eyes, groaning. It wasn’t necessarily bright, especially since you were somewhere in a dark area, certainly hidden away from sight.
You turned your head to the right, all that was visible was an entrance to the alley you’re in, a flickering light and some kind of vase.
Standing up, you felt incredibly lightheaded, forcing you to use the wall for support as you, very slowly, made your way over to the exit.
As you reached the outside of the small alley, you collapsed, your vision slightly blurry as the feeling of starvation and exhaustion overtook you.
You tried to stand up again, though to no avail. You could feel yourself falling unconscious.
“There’s… here! …..” you heard someone shout, though you missed most of the sentence, as you were focusing more on staying awake.
You could hear two sets of footsteps making their way towards you, then more talking and then something soft being wrapped around you.
The two people, whom you could discern to be of opposite genders, talked some more before, seemingly the male, picked you up.
You could feel your consciousness fading further and further, though you forced your eyes open to look at the two people.
You turned your head to the side and saw a short woman with long, pink hair and golden accessories. Though you could only see her back, you could tell that her colour scheme was pretty cosmic.
You groggily tried to sit up, before remembering: you’re being carried.
The man carrying you, glanced at you and smiled rather apologetically. You had no idea who he was.
He had long, white hair adorned with a red hair tie, and golden eyes.
“You must be rather confused, I assume” he spoke, causing the woman to turn around and look at you. You didn’t notice this though, you were too busy feeling those feelings of absolutely exhaustion and starvation.
You lightly shook your head in an attempt to remove these feelings, surprisingly it working a bit!
You sighed and nodded at his assumption as you didn’t feel up to the task of talking.
“Cat got your tongue?” He chuckled, causing you to smile, enjoying the humour.
“Are we taking them to Bailu?” The woman chimed in, slowing down her walking pace to now be beside him.
“I… assumed so. We are headed in that direction, no?”
“You took them from there without a plan?” She gave him a look of disbelief, causing him to grimace, though the both of them didn’t seem too serious about it.
“Now, now, don’t get me wrong. I do have a plan, I simply haven’t… devised … it yet.”
“You are unbelievable” she sighed, glaring up at him.
“Look, I’m sure it’s fine, Fu Xuan. Bailu will most certainly be available to check this person for injuries.“
“I put too much trust in you… fine, let’s go.”
The journey to this ‘Bailu’ felt oddly comforting, resulting in you feeling more drowsy than before. You allowed yourself to drift off to sleep after a few moments.
You woke up, seemingly hours later, on a plush surface. You hugged the soft blanket wrapped around you tighter, slowly opening your eyes.
After a moment of just lying there, you wearily sat up and glanced around the room.
It was really nothing special. A simple hospital room with white walls, blue curtains, and a bunch of beds.
“Oh! Hello! You’re awake now!” A small child came running up to you, though she didn’t seem very human.
Her purple… horns and tail stood out to you the most. You couldn’t quite figure out what exactly she is but she seemed nice enough.
“How are you feeling?!” She asked, climbing onto your bed and sitting next to you.
“Fine… I think. Where am I?… where are those people from before? And… who are you?”
“People from before? Oh! You must mean Jing Yuan and Fu Xuan! I think they’re on their way back here now that they’ve dealt with the power outage!”
“There was a power outage?”
“Oh, yes! It wasn’t very great, but it’s okay now!”
You lightly nodded, no longer feeling any exhaustion or hunger. You assumed that you were given food but since you were so tired, you simply couldn’t remember. You glanced down at the bed, in the process, seeing your arms and legs.
Odd markings were inscribed on your arms, whereas on your legs, there was a marking on your left thigh and on your lower right leg. You weren’t able to tell if you had any more as you were now fully clothed.
“Hey… uh… what are these… markings… on my body?”
“Ah, those… I couldn’t figure them out! They seem to be on your body permanently as they didn’t smudge even a bit!”
The child looked at you, taking hold of your hand and looking over the marking again.
“I forgot to introduce myself!” she exclaimed looking back up at you.
“I’m Bailu! It’s nice to meet you!”
“Oh… that’s right, they were talking about a Bailu…” you said aloud, mostly talking to yourself, though Bailu smiled and looked back at your arm.
“Well, at least you weren’t injured too badly! Just exhaustion and… well, you were hungry! But we got that sorted so it’s okay! So, what happened to you? You were in a pretty bad state…”
“… I have no idea. I just kind of… woke up, and the next thing I knew there were two people who were carrying me here I think.”
“So… uh, do you remember anything from before you woke up?”
“No?” You looked at her slightly confused, to which she slightly panicked.
“No, I mean do you remember anything from before you fell unconscious and then woke up?”
“Still no…”
“Ahh… amnesia? I wonder, did you hit your head when the ship suddenly started shaking?”
“I have no idea what happened…” you looked at a wall, trying to remember anything from before all this, however you just couldn’t.
“Did you say ship?”
“Yes! The Xianzhou Luofu is a ship, just like all the other areas! You really don’t know this? You live here, don’t you?”
“Huh, I wouldn’t have expected this to be a ship…”
Bailu looked at you, as if it was common knowledge. You almost felt guilty not knowing this.
Just then the people from earlier entered the room.
“How’s the patient?” Jing Yuan glanced at you and smiled now that you looked like an actually alive human.
“Very good! Although I think they have amnesia!” Bailu responded, jumping off the bed and standing proudly.
“That’s quite a predicament… they don’t remember anything?” Spoke Fu Xuan, pushing past Jing Yuan as he was, probably unintentionally, blocking the door way.
“No… say, do you know your name and age?” Bailu looked up at you, curious, hoping to get a definitive answer.
“Uh, not… really… but I do feel like I know this… I just… can’t remember.”
“That’s alright! Take your time!”
You sat there for a moment, trying to remember the answer to Bailu’s question, though you didn’t quite know where to start.
You watched as Bailu waddled over to the other two and started talking about medical stuff.
“Well, it’s quite obvious they’re young. Just look at them.” Fu Xuan pointed out the obvious.
“Yes… but it would help to have a definitive age.”
“Jing Yuan’s right! I could provide them with proper dosages of medicine if I knew their exact age!”
You sighed, placing your head in your hands as you continued thinking.
“Oh! I know!” You suddenly shot up, startling the other three, who then looked at you expectantly.
“Well… I think I know…” you chuckled awkwardly as you moved to sit on the edge of the bed.
“Um… I’m uh… 15…?” Your voice had a certain tone of uncertainty to it, as you looked at them.
“Wait! Wait! I need to write this down!” Bailu exclaimed, immediately searching for a pen and paper.
“Ok! Continue!”
You chuckled at her as she jumped up on her seat and placed the paper on the desk, now waiting for you to continue talking.
“I’m… still not too sure about my name…”
“Gah!” Bailu exclaimed, lightly pouting.
You smiled, slowly standing up and holding onto the wall, as you could feel some dizziness returning.
“I’m sure I’ll remember eventually…”
“That would be preferable. We can’t exactly refer to you directly if we can’t put a name to the face.” Fu Xuan mumbled, lightly tilting her head to the side as she examined you.
“We’ll figure it out, I’m sure. Maybe we can think of something temporary for them.” Jing Yuan chimed in, leaning his arm on Fu Xuan’s head, which seemed to aggravate her.
“General, I would appreciate if you refrained from doing that!”
“You’ll be fine!” He laughed, though removed his arm from her head.
“Yes, but my hair won’t. It takes far longer than necessary to do it, let alone having to redo it!” She exclaimed flattening the top of her hair, tucking a few loose strands back in to their place.
“Then why make it so complicated?”
“Because I enjoy this hairstyle.”
“And I’m the unbelievable one?!” He exclaimed, feigning hurt, causing Fu Xuan to scoff and walk away from him, towards you.
“You poor soul, you’ll go insane with him around…” she lightly patted your head, barely reaching…
“I… think I’ll be okay…” you laughed and sat back down on the bed.
“Alright, Master Diviner, I’m not that bad!”
“Yes, you’re right. You’re even worse.”
“I am not!” He sighed as he continued speaking.
“Alright, never mind, we have more important matters than petty arguments.”
“Indeed, we do.” Fu Xuan replied, satisfied that she got the final word in said argument. She seemed almost cocky now… though she didn’t let it show much.
After a moment of odd silence you looked around the room again, now noticing that the walls had small doodles on them, undoubtedly the doing of Bailu.
You mumbled something, before your eyes widened.
“[Name]” you repeated, louder this time so that the others could hear.
“Come again?” Jing Yuan asked, looking at you curiously.
“That’s my name!” You exclaimed, standing up, inevitably feeling dizzy again.
“You remembered?” Both Fu Xuan and Bailu asked you in unison.
“Oh! Oh! That’s very good! I need to write that down!” Bailu exclaimed, grabbing her pen and scribbling down your name on the paper, before crossing it out and writing it neater.
“Oh! Wait, wait! I have another method I could use to check your markings… but um… yeah I’m not too confident.” Bailu suddenly spoke, nervously laughing.
“Lady Bailu… is it dangerous?” Asked Jing Yuan, knowing Bailu can be… odd…
“Noooo…t really…” she replied grinning.
“It’ll be fine! Maybe…” she continued.
You looked at Bailu, slightly worried for your safety. She only looked back at you with an innocent smile.
“Can I? Can I?” She asked you, jumping down from her chair and climbing back on the bed you were in. She looked oddly excited…
“Let’s… not make any irrational decisions, alright?” Jing Yuan looked at you, with his arms crossed. He seemed to trust Bailu but… he also didn’t.
“Ahh… I think it’ll be fine? She is a doctor isn’t she?”
“Yes… but she’s also a child.”
“I am older than you!”
You looked at the two of them utterly confused, unable to fathom how Bailu could be older than him. He’s a grown adult. She is a child. It just didn’t add up!
“Oh, right… you don’t know anything!” Bailu sighed but eventually explained everything to you, very poorly… so then Jing Yuan and Fu Xuan had to reexplain it all.
“That’s… very odd…”
“Yeah… that’s on our ancestors for wanting immortality” Jing Yuan laughed and leaned on the wall, sighing.
“We should probably show [name] around the Luofu.” Fu Xuan crossed her arms and glanced at him.
“That would be a good idea.”
“Can I get a response on my method please?” Bailu intervened, standing up on the bed.
“Uh-“
“I’ll do it! I wanna know more about these… marks…” you spoke before someone could answer for you.
He looked at you sceptically, though understanding your reason.
“Yay!” Bailu exclaimed and jumped down, getting a bunch of things set up for whatever she was about to do.
“What exactly are you gonna do?”
“It’s complicated! But I’ll need a blood sample!”
“What for?”
“Because I just do!”
You sighed, contemplating if it was a good idea to agree to her shenanigans.
“Alright…” you held your arm out for her to take your blood.
You looked around the room once again, whilst she did that, not wanting to focus on the fact that she was doing this right now.
“Ok, done!” She exclaimed, injecting your blood into some machine… thing…
“And now, the part I’m not too sure about but it’ll be fine!” She used purple lightning to electrically charge your blood… for some reason and used to syringe to pick it back up.
“Well… that’s not very dangerous to me, at least…”
“Aha… yeah… so you see, now I have to inject it back into you!”
“What?”
“It’s not like you’ll die! Probably…”
You chuckled nervously, now unsure of this, yet you still put your arm out and looked away.
You glanced at Jing Yuan and Fu Xuan who… definitely didn’t look convinced by Bailu. They began whispering stuff amongst themselves, though you couldn’t make out anything they said.
“And done!” Bailu stood proudly as she placed the syringe on a metal tray and looked intently at your markings.
For the next few minutes, nothing seemed to happen, nor did you feel any different.
More time passed and nothing seemed to happen… Bailu looked utterly dejected, when suddenly you began feeling dizzy again.
“Yeah uh… there’s something wrong… I think…” you mumbled as you covered your eyes from the light, suddenly feeling incredibly light-sensitive.
“Huh? Oh… that’s not normal!” Bailu exclaimed almost screeching.
“Don’t shout!” You sighed as some of the lights got turned off by Jing Yuan.
“Thanks…” you looked up, noticing an odd glow.
“Why are you glowing?!” Bailu asked in a strained, yet excited voice. You looked at yourself, and indeed, it seemed as though the markings were glowing for some odd reason.
“I have no idea but it’s making me feel pretty terrible!”
“Is that… safe?” Fu Xuan asked, narrowing her eyes at you as she took a step back.
“Well… nothing’s happening right?” Bailu retaliated, though your marks slowly started returning to normal, you starting to feel a bit better too.
After a few minutes, they completely stopped glowing and you felt just fine, as if nothing had just happened. Jing Yuan turned the lights back on.
“So… how about that tour?” You asked, trying to avert the subject for the time being.
“Sure, let’s go” Jing Yuan replied, exiting the room and waiting for you outside.
You were glad they were willing to skip this subject for now. Although, you had a hunch that Bailu would probably wanna experiment…
You and Fu Xuan waved to Bailu, who waved back, and the two of you followed Jing Yuan out the room.
“Where are we going first?”
“Why not the Exalting Sanctum? That’s where we found you!”
“Oh, alright!”

Tumblr media
:★: relationship : arachkids x g-neutral reader
:★: warnings : none, crack & fluff ???
:★: a/n : this is so random dont ask me why i wrote this (woke up from a nap and thought this was a good idea)
Tumblr media
MILES - "I would love you no matter what you are babe"
- You frown at such a sweet and innocent answer
- Couldn't really expect anything else from the sweetest boy on planet earth though
- He's confused why you seem disappointed
- "Oh! Okay, I wouldn't love you as a worm :)"
- Then for the next 10 minutes you both have a playful banter about the topic
HOBIE - "would you love ME if you were a worm??"
- "What if you wont know how to love me anymore?"
- Now you're confused, he completely twisted the question onto you
- "This is not about me-" "But i thought YOU were the worm"
- You're now in a debate whether or not worms (specifically you as one) would love him
- I mean, who wouldn't love Hobie? i'm sure even worms would
PAVITR - "???"
- He's not sure whether to answer with his heart or his head
- "I'm sorry love, I don't think so :( I don't know if it would work out.. for the both of us, you know?"
- He says he'll make you a little worm house though, and even if it would make his heart break he would find a better worm lover for you 😔
- He actually seems so sad you feel bad
- You go out to get him his favorite snacks as an apology
GWEN - "A worm? Takes more than that."
- Her best friend was a lizard-monster hybrid ok nothing can really stop her from loving you /j
- In all seriousness, nothing can really change Gwens view on you
- You're one of the few people she had left, she had no one else she could rely on and be able to smile with
- You tear up a little at her answer and explanation, she loves you so bad
- Comfort cuddles were in order that night

Note
hey hey hey! hope you're quite well today. if this isn't tiring, then i wonder if you can make a platonic yandere blade, dan heng, himeko, bailu, jingyuan and yanqing with a slightly nahida!reader. like you know, is intelligent despite her age and somewhat knows their yandere behaviour (she can't read people's mind but but she can read people like a book). at first, she was an elusive and secretive individual, also suffered from very low self-esteem as a result of her parents judging her and likes to read books. She almost always maintains a gentle and kind demeanour when she speaks to others, and treats everyone as equals. Her social skills though needs some work and speaks in analogies. if this is too much, then ignores. take care of your health, please.
Holy moly, that's alot of characters😅
Trigger Warning: Yandere, Obsessive behaviour, Possessive behaviour, Clingy behaviour, Kidnapping, Murder
Blade: He takes interest in you, you seem to know what he is thinking at all times. It doesn't take long for an obsession to start and you notice it right away. It annoys him that you so easily dodge him and even more that you treat those pests as equals, including your parents.
He kills your parents, infront of you. This is the price of avoiding him. You cry, of course you do, it's your parents that was killed, but Blade smiles. Now you have no choice but to come with him.
"Look at your parents, if you didn't avoid me they would still be alive"
Dan Heng: Will try to manipulate you to his side, he wants to protect you from this cruel world, but you see through every lie and manipulation. If this goes on for too long and he has to return to the astral express, then he would kidnap you during nighttime, you might be smarter then him, but not stronger.
Now Dan Heng has you on the astral express, he lies to the crew, telling them that you're brainwashed by your 'abusive' parents. Normal people wouldn't believe this, but the crew has seen so many strange things that they accept this. All of this just so he could protect you.
"Just know that this is for your safety, the world is far too cruel for someone like you"
Himeko: Already has adoption papers, wait what do you mean you already have parents. She finds you cute, and you are just so smart, you are everything she ever wanted in a child. But her dreams shatter so easily, you had parents and while a bit strict, they were good people.
Too bad that their child had a yandere after them. While Himeko is away from you all she can do is think about what you're doing, if you're eating well and getting the right amount of sleep. She will take you onboard the train, sure you notice that something is wrong but it is too late, the train is already leaving your planet.
"Don't look so sad, now come on, you may call me mother"
Bailu: 2 increadibly smart children that are childhood friends, she always takes time out of the day to spend time with her friend. Hell, she might even stop an emergency treatment just to spend time with you.
You notice early that Bailu's friendship is toxic, but you try to fix her, surely she isn't too far beyond saving. Well you knew the answer when you woke up, chains binding your wrists as she cuddles into you. All you did was spend time with another of your friends, but Bailu misunderstood and thought you were replacing her, and now were here.
"You can't leave me, you are MY friend and mine alone"
Sorry but I cut out Jing Yuan and Yanqing, I never thought that someone would request so many characters. I'll just add a new rule to the rule list

Imagine Mom! Reader Taking Care of Baby! Bailu with Daddy! Jing Yuan
Found Family: Mommy! Reader x Daddy! Jing Yuan + Brother ! Yanqing & Baby Sister! Bailu
Dan Feng! Twin Sister! Reader Comforts Jing Yuan & Takes Care of Baby! Bailu
Imagine: General Jing Yuan & Reader Take care of Baby Bailu after Abundance war incident
Tumblr media
+ Takes Charge after Dan Feng Incite Rebellion & Steals Immortality
I keep thinking Jing yuan as young awkward still fumbling gaining his confidence as captain of the cloud knight when Jing Liu has the mara overtake her and so he comes home crying & Reader comforts him.
Then The incident where Dan Feng rebelled and Jing Yuan now older comforts Reader who is Dan Feng’s sister so it’s her family that is being charged for crimes.
Also, after that incident Baby! Bailu is found by Jing Yuan and he and reader decide to raise her as Bailu is what is left of the quintet.
Maybe later also adopt Yanqing as Jing Yuans apprentices who become Bailu’s brother figure o they family with Mommy ! Reader. Daddy Jing Yuan, brother ! Yanqing, and Baby Sister! Bailu
Yanqing the big bro excited for kid sister but be the type to fumble and almost drop the baby the first time he holds her o_o!
Drabble Platonic! Caretaker Reader x Bailu
Imagine: Bailu’s purple hair and eyes resembled Baiheng so she was named Bailu in memory of Baiheng
“As vidyhadyra we cannot bear children and yet I find myself raising & teaching baby Bailu….” mused caretaker reader as she rocked baby Bailu to sleep.
Tumblr media
Imagine: Caretaker! Reader is a Sucker for Bailu’s puppy eyes.
“Please just one more treat” wheedled Bailu on excursion with Y/N as they played hooky from lessons one day.
Bailu’s tail swings happily and big baby eyes watering to which Y/N relents with sigh
“Okay but only one more too much sugar isn’t good for you”
“Jing Yuan can you take care of Bailu , Thanks!” Y/N drops off a sugar high baby! Bailu on poor Jing Yuan as he did to her a week prior.
Perhaps it is revenge for when he stuck her with babysitting Bailu on her during work where Bailu ate all the papers and caused kid chaos.
Bailu Character Introspection
Bailu found her calling as healer in the alchemy commission on her own and cares very much about doing a good job as it’s her own ability separate from the high elder title though the high elder power is what allows her to heal
The high elder Postion lost a lot of power when Dan Feng rebelled
Bailu is monitored for her safety & to keep her from running away. Also to see if she rebels like he predecessor, and because assassination attempts were made questioning her legitimacy as high elder.
Bailu stunted her growth or does not appear older as she fears growing up taking high elder role for fear of judgement by the high elders
For the Marastruck fic, Platonic Yandere! Bailu is afraid Y/N might leave her, stop being mother/sister figure , or reincarnate to leave her behind if she is no longer a ‘baby’ or ‘kid’ she has to take care of. So, stays in a younger form so Y/N is forced to keep her current position as she promised she wouldn’t leave until Bailu grew up…but Bailu is stunting her growth so Y/n won’t leave.
Tumblr media
Bailu & Teacher! Reader Interactions
-Buys bailu stuff she wants like snacks on their excursion and take her where she wants to go
- babysit bailu basically and makes sure her curiosity doesn’t get the best of her
- Y/N: Once helped  Bailu get out of a Alchemy furnace that Bailu fell into from leaning in too far to see in
- Y/N Prefers being called sister because mom feels old
Y/N totally give out mommy Himeko vibes and worries for bailu
Y/N is intensely worried for Bailu whenever she goes missing
Panics like a mother who lost her kid in the mall and said kid is just hiding behind the clothes hangers out of sight and think it is funny
Y/N is afraid of assassination attempts as they happened when Bailu was baby . Jing Yuan helped stop one of them. And also, due to losing the past high elder due to his past sins.
Y/N has Bodyguard and shadow habits to guard the high elder and feels  partly responsibly for Bailu and sees her as what is left of quintet.
Tiger Mom ! Reader!
Bit of tiger mom wants Bailu to study and show she is good elder as Y/N is under pressure by elder to make Bailu a good elder
Also so that Bailu can take on the high elder work she had been doing when Bailu wasn’t old enough to do it.
Y/N raised Bailu as a baby and taught her high elder politics & everything but cloud hymn magic .
Y/N Worries about Bailu Like a Mom
Y/n just wants Bailu to successfully succeed high elder for Bailu’s own safety & Security on and for the loufu
She wants Bailu to do it while Y/N has political power so she can retire without worrying
She is worried that the High Elder position doesn’t have enough power to protect Bailu
Her worst fear is that giving Bailu less freedon might lead to a similar situation with Dan feng that lead to rebellion against the loufu and forced her to cast judgment on him
Outside the Lines Y/N Helping Bailu Politically
Y/N Tried to give Bailu freedom through outdoor lessons and playing hooky sometimes with her from lessons
Tried to get Bailu allies & friends through introducing Yanqing and Sushang to Bailu
Elders dissuaded the high elder from forming connection since the quintet being a suspected as the reason why Dan Feng rebelled & sought immortality for his friends.
Y/N volleyed to be a teacher/guide to form a close relationship with Bailu promising to keep her on right path
To get the role as baby Bailu’s teacher/caretaker Y/N was forced to cast judgment on Dan Feng and execute molting rebirth to prove her loyalty to the loufu as she was suspected as his sister to be involved in the incident where rebelled and made one of his friend immortal but Y/N was not involved.
Y/N with Jing Yuan secretly tried to help Bailu build enough power so she can make new friends and remake the High elder role to be freer from the constraint of studies & the job

Bailu & Y/N Saw each other Less when Bailu became Head of Alchemy Commission
When Bailu was older and could be influenced the Elder had Y/N separate from Bailu for fear she might influence Bailu with her connection as Dan Feng’s sister
Y/N had other work such as rebuilding to keep her loufu kept her busy and Bail role as healer dragon lady led to her working in the alchemy commission
Y/N also has another job as judge of the ten commissions that keeps her busy so when Bailu got older she couldn’t be Bailu’s maid or caretaker anymore.

word: 2.8k little this time
Tumblr media
───── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ─────
It has been days already, Dan Heng couldn’t stop thinking about her, he couldn’t get enough of her, he looked at the polaroid picture that March 7th took of her, a smile shining that the Sun they usually see in the Astral Express, he has been jacking off her photos, he bought secretly, no, taken secretly away from March’s bedroom, he pants and moaned all over her name, fisting all over his palm, giving a few pumps before he orgasms. He has been having wet dreams because of her.
He was infatuated all over again, her beautiful eyes glistening, he wished to cum all over your face, but he should restrain further. That fellow trailblazer, it is her fault, she enchanted him like a witch, it’s all fault isn’t it, her laughter, the kindness she has shown. “Not enough,” he said to himself, fastening his pace to jerk off, some whimpers and babbles coming out, he need to prove his love, by cumming all over her photo. She was her guilty pleasure, he couldn’t stop himself, he is going feral, on his bed, looking at her the picture in the white frame, eyeing at her pink juicy lips, then back to her eyes, he closed his eyes, throwing his head off, imagining her mouth all over his double cock, taking turns to suck it off.
After minutes of monitoring her with his secret camera, her groaning and fighting those monsters on the Herta’s Spaceship, was an additional to his imagination, he bit his lips, he couldn’t help but cum all over her selfie with him, shooting all the semen across the polaroid.
He sighed, yet he wasn’t satisfied, it has been seventh pictures he ruined already, those pretty pictures, he reminded next time to do an extra copy, he threw the picture in the bin, hissing himself, cussing himself for not controlling himself, after the post-nut clarity he had. He got out of his room, to go clean his right hand. But there is a fact he didn’t knew. It was mating season, no wonder why he was so worked up. It is yet to find out.
───── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ─────
It has been over a week that the trailblazer was busy with Aurem Alley Market Management, he finally saw her, sitting in the Parlor Car, enjoying coffee with Pom-Pom and Himeko. A blush crept across his face, she had become more prettier than ever, or is it the mating season, driving him into thinking in a shojou filter. He couldn’t differentiate.
“Hi, Y/N.” he cleared his throat, to greet her. The girl just smiled, seeing in his dragon form since the last time they saw was in Xianzhou Luofu, “It has been a while, hasn’t it?” the girl spoke softly, smiling at her fellow Astral Express Crew Member.
“Been long, you didn’t reply to my message,” that is true, she was too busy to even open his text message. “I was busy with Bailu, but well I’m back to the train station,” they walked out of the Parlor Car, ready to rest for the evening.
Dan Heng opened his mouth, but he closed it again, staring at her walking in front of her, her body was so perfect, the thoughts of lust desires betraying his self morale. The effect is working on him as if he chucked on aphrodisiac chocolates just now.
‘Touch her,’
‘No, she trusts me. I can’t do that.’
‘Doesn’t March said she has a crush on you?’
There was hope when she turned her back to look at him, she was staring at his dragon horns, intensely. So it wasn’t only him huh? He felt uncomfortable as the girl was gazing at his horns, there were stars outside their window. It was a beautiful site to actually confess, but his throat suppressed to say any words.
The female decided to break the ice. “So can I touch it?’
"No, you can't touch my horns." he sighed, that was his most sensitive part, if she does it, he might go feral and lose his control.
"Why???" she whined, even made March 7th to back up with her, but their best friend decided to go back to her own room, leaving them alone in the hallway.
"It's a private thing, okay? Stop asking."
Dan Heng tried to keep his expression neutral, though it was impossible to not look irritated. Despite his protests, he still smiled warmly inside, knowing that she was more interested in him than his kin.
Still, he couldn't deny the urge to pull his tail closer to him. Was it because he felt flustered or was he just possessive? Not knowing the answer, Dan Heng grunted, frowning at her.
"Just once, please, just once.." she mumbled, looking up at him with pleading eyes.
‘Just once wouldn’t hurt me,’ he thought to himself.
"... Fine, just this once... But only for a second." Dan Heng conceded, his body language showing his reluctance. The corners of his lips slightly curved up, a hint of a shy smile, while his cheeks darkened. "Don't go crazy and grope all over my tail either."
She caressed his horns slowly, which he let out a moan out accidentally, which gave her some ideas, giving him a smug expression. "Oh, so you're sensitive here?" she touched more.
Dan Heng shuddered in response to her touch, his cheeks flushing. He couldn't stop his eyes from closing in bliss as his hand brushed over his sensitive horns.
"I can stop if you want.." she let go of his horns, she felt bad for asking such request and in her eyes he looked uncomfortable.
"No... No, don't stop," Dan Heng whispered without hesitation, his eyes half-lidded. It was as if her touch had him completely under her spell.
"I-It's just my body responding this way... to your touches." Dan Heng said breathlessly. His dragon form was indeed responding to her teasing, making him want to surrender to herr every desire.
It suddenly hit him that he was during the mating season, which was risky.
She let out a few giggles, he didn't want to admit he was affected by the mating period. "Should I leave you alone?" she turned a bit of considerate, looking at the male panting.
"Wait, don't go," Dan Heng begged, his breath still short and heavy.
"Please, I... I need you here with me." He confessed, his eyes pleading for her not to leave him alone during this period.
"You can get through it, let me get you tea, so you calm down," she pat his cheeks slowly, walking to the Parlor Car to grab a tea from Mr. Welt.
"No, you know this won't get better until I... I..."
Dan Heng trailed off, his words drowned out by his panting breaths. He felt like he was losing this battle of will, and soon, he was sure he would give in.
"Please, don't leave yet, at least not until after..." He continued, his words almost a whisper.
The usual brain over body man is losing his wits, is holding on the clueless person's arm.
"What?" the girl questioned him. He finally confessed he was affected during the mating season. A blush crept on both of their cheeks.
"Just stay here, okay?" Dan Heng's request sounded somewhat like a needy plea.
With his brain still clouded by his bodily desires, Dan Heng couldn't come up with a proper explanation.
"Just... Please," he reiterated, his hands coming up to grab her arms, squeezing them tightly.
"If we stay further-, I think I will ask tips and help from Mr. Welt for you for the birth control tips," she reassured her male friend, but he couldn't let go of her body, back hugging her, with a growl.
"No... No more talking... Just..." The trailblazer struggled to express his thoughts as she could feel his trembling.
"Just touch me..." He whispered into her ear.
"D-dan Heng, you aren't yourself, right now," she turned back at him, but he lost his cool further, pressing his body against her, he couldn't control his carnal desires, he just have, leaving him hot and bothered.
"I might not be myself... But I need this right now, okay?" The trailblazer breathed deeply, looking straight into her eyes.
His body was pressed against her, his heart beating so fast that she could feel it. With his breath warming her skin, Dan Heng tilted his head close.
"Please…"
"Dan Heng, I think you're mistaken-" she was cut off with a desperate kiss on her lips, she let out a word but it was cut off with a passionate kiss, he was losing himself, and he doesn't care to think about that right now. *He wanted her, right here, right now* That is for sure.
The dragon male’s tongue eagerly searching for hers. With her lips locked, he couldn't do anything but let his desire take over.
Dan Heng was losing himself over the girl in this moment. Every rational thought was gone, his mind filled with only one desire...
"Dan Heng, we will find another way to solve this-" he didn't like her answer, opening his bedroom door of the Rail Express, his eyes glinted in beastly golden ways, pushing her on the bed.
"You don't understand..." Dan Heng spoke with low breaths, his hand coming up to cup her cheeks.
"This is the only way… God, I want to breed you so badly," he continued as his gaze darkened.
"No, I don't want to mate, we will regret this someday, just listen to me-" her arms were pinned against his black mattress, earning another no.
He refused to listen, pinning her down on the bed with her arms above your head. He got closer, his hot breaths on her skin, as his golden eyes bore into hers.
"I won't regret this... Not if it's with you." Dan Heng mumbled before his lips descended on hers once again, melting on her lips.
"Dan Heng, please, listen to me, okay?" convincing is what the trailblazer could do to him. "Please?" she whimpered as he continued to caress her skin.
"Y/N... Don't you understand... My... My heat is taking over.." Dan Heng said out of breath. His body was on fire, his eyes darkening with every passing second.
"Just... Just let it happen..." The trailblazer begged, his voice shaky with barely-contained passion.
"I- no, Dan Heng, stop, please," she begged as he continued to touch her body without consent. "There must be another way-"
"There isn't!" The trailblazer groaned as he finally got her clothes off her body. His eyes roamed over her flesh as if he was seeing you for the first time. He was mesmerized by her curves, your sweet scent, and the beauty of her skin.
"I'm not stopping... It's either this or nothing at all."
There was regret filled in her eyes, why did she even touched his sensitive horns in the first place? She just nodded, hoping things ended quickly so they won't have to go through it, but his desires grew much further.
"Dan Heng," she let out a moan, finally giving in his touches and requests. He was selfish for wanting it for himself, "Please, I don't think it's the right way," she whispered in his ears.
Her weak protests only fueled Dan Heng to keep going, pressing his body against her and increasing the intensity of his touches.
"Yes... It is..." He sighed, his voice laced with pleasure. "How else will we resolve my heat if not like this? I'm sure we both know what I want." he tried manipulating her that it was she wanted as well.
Dan Heng smiled at her response, from earning a nod happy that he wouldn't have to convince her for much longer. He enjoyed the way she accepted him, making him feel more confident as her body responded to his touches.
His fingers made their way to breasts, kneading it like a dough that would give both pleasure and pain. And he knew just where to touch...
She let out a huff and some moans, kissing him on the lips hungrily, using her lips at work, ready to be pleasured the both of them for the evening. She lets him used her for his frustration, his pent up desired under those pants, grinding against her underwear, after his sprung out his double cocks.
As he could feel her underwear soaked up against his bare dicks, Dan Heng couldn't help but gasp against her lips. Her moans did a good job of driving him to please her more, his fingers tracing everywhere as he explored every inch of her body, finally sinking in, deep inside her wet soaking cunt.
"Y-You're so responsive..." He murmured, his lips returning to her neck, nibbling and kissing it like an animal.
"I-I'm not!!" a blush crept across her face, denying such claims, letting out another moan as he sunk his teeth on her skin. It hurts so bad, she got doubled dicked inside her small hole, she is trying to adjust to his size, he did gave her time, he isn’t that cruel.
"Oh, I'm just getting started..." Dan Heng replied as he continued to explore her body. By now his dick tip already kisses her cervix, moving it further in, teasing her until she mewled in pleasure, his voice lowering in pitch as her body responded to his touch.
"Is it already too much for you?" He asked as his mouth left her neck, traveling down to her breasts and back up again. The bed was shaking, holding of its dear life as he moved his hips further to see how much she could take it.
“Is it too big??” he said it against her neck, after bruising her soft skin with desperate bites, and fucks.
She panted, moaning as she could feel the cocks twitching her insides, touching all the gummy walls, pumping further. "No-no, I can handle it," she gritted her teeth.
"Good, because I'm not stopping no matter what you say..." Dan Heng mumbled, his hands beginning to travel further.
"In fact..." He paused as he let out a grunt. "I'm tempted to go further than this... Is that okay with you?" his balls slapped at the base of her ass further, making squelching noises across the room. All she could do is moan, and gave him a needy nod, asking him to go further.
“There you go, it wasn't hard was it? You're such a good girl..” he let out a low groan, slapping her breasts as the recoil bounced further with the thrusts he has been sending, in an inhumane pace. She let a louder moan, from the faster speed as he pressed her thighs, putting on his shoulders, pushing to her high.
"I'm-I'm close, nghhh, Dan Heng, I can't-" she whined, her mind finally melt from his merciless breeding inside her.
Dan Heng couldn't help but smile, listening to her whimpers and sighs as her body is overstimulated by him, no by his two massive cocks, dicking inside her, stretching her out.
"I don't think you're close enough yet.... Maybe I should speed things up a bit." He whispered into her ear, giving a sloppy deeper thrusts once more.
The trailblazer groaned, his mind hazy with desire as he continued to tease the poor female.
"Hngh... I'm not gonna stop now... And I'm definitely not stopping until you've had enough..." He teased as he continued to touch her and keep her the edge of pleasure.
After a long time of making her hold her orgasms, he finally let all the white semen, pouring all on her womb as her cunt twitches in pleasure as well, he cursed. Finally his senses coming back. “Fuck, Y/N, I’m so sorry, I came all inside you…” he panted, throwing his head up high, all the waves of pleasures pumping inside her, filling her insides. He hasn’t let her go yet.
“Can you please, please forgive me and take all my cum?” he begged, kissing her forehead, begging for her forgiveness, all the cum oozing to the brim from two of his cocks, insisting to stay in until she said yes.
"Fine..." the female trailblazer groaned, he just smiled, she looked so beautiful, taking all his cum like a good girl, a good girl just for him, finally letting go of his cocks, putting her weak overstimulated body on top of hers, she was out of stamina as well.
“I will take full responsibility for what happened,” he sighed, cleaning her up, going out of the Express.
Later after minutes, he came back with her favourite meal, a trick snack an plan B pill with some water.
“Thank you,” he kneeled down in front of her, kissing her knuckles. “Thank you forgiving me, love.”
To her surprise, she didn’t get pregnant, thanks to the plan B pill, but what is Dan Heng up to? He will breed you more later.

The smell of seawater is prominent the closer you get to the statue of the former high elder. The waves seemingly roaring their praises for the Vidyadhara male before you who once again parted them to reveal a palace buried beneath them.
You're still able to see the waves crash down onto the shore, the force of the impact so harsh that your shoes are drenched.
The troops behind you seem to be in awe, whispering amongst themselves as you make your way up the stairs. Fu Xuan seems to notice you almost immediately, to which you give a curt bow before looking over to Jing Yuan whose hardened expression seem to soften slightly upon seeing you, "General, the reinforcements you've requested are here," you relay, glancing behind you to gesture the other Cloud Knights to position themselves behind the two that was behind Fu Xuan.
"Splendid, Lady Fu?" Jing Yuan turns his attention back to Fu Xuan who straightens up a bit, your eyes sweep over the people behind him. The trailblazer and their companions either giving you a curt nod or an energetic wave upon seeing your attention on them. Only one male diverts his attention elsewhere when his eyes locked upon yours. You can however see him give you a curt nod when he glanced back at you, "Remain here - lead the Cloud Knights in defense of this passage. We must prevent further incidents."
Your eyebrows furrow, but before you can utter a sound Fu Xuan takes a step before you in alarm, "Jing Yuan- General, are you planning on facing Phantylia alone?"
Your mind blanks the moment you notice what he's planning to do, but as the plan has already come this far any complaints you would have would fall on deaf ears. You can merely bite back your words and look away from him - Jing Yuan does take notice of this, but he has no time to console you, merely sparing you an apologetic glance as if that would lessen the sudden reveal of his plans.
You only turn your attention back towards the stairways leading down once you start to hear bustling around you, already noticing Fu Xuan address some Cloud Knights - but she does glance at you and cock her head to the side towards the retreating group with a small smile.
Almost as if saying: "We never know what might happen, say what you want to say now instead of regretting it later."
He's walking considerably slower than the rest of the party, and you let out a scoff at how he even predicted this, "Jing Yuan." you call out, and your lover turns around with the same easygoing smile he always gave you whether it was during a meeting at the Divine Foresight, on the training grounds of the Cloud Knights as he sparred with Yanqing or at the comfort at your own private quarters.
But he doesn't move from his spot - "Yes?" he asks softly, foregoing the petnames he usually addreses with you, a silent hint as to what sort of situation the two of you find yourself in.
"... I expect you to return safely to your troops, general." you merely say, before mouthing silently: "And to me."
Jing Yuan doesn't give you a nod, he merely laughs with a smile before turning around and descending down the stairs.
The next time you saw him, he was being carried by Dan Heng, not even conscious to hear your call for him.
HOUR 3
It took an hour to haul him to to Miss Bailu's place, the smaller vidyadhara's eyes widening upon seeing his unconscious self being carred by another Vidyadhara of all things.
And as much as you wanted to stay by him, there were more immediate pressing matters to handle. You had practically begged the high elder to take care of him, sputtering whatever you were informed before Bailu were forced to sit you down to make you relax.
You were offered a cup of her herbal tea before you continued on your way, taking one last glance at Jing Yuans' resting form before you rushed out to take care of your home in his stead.
HOUR 12
The ink brush in your hand is barely moving at this point, the tip of the hair dipped with the ink having made an extended black dot on the paper scroll you were currently writing on. You glanced over to the side from your place at the desk, watching with rapt attention Jing Yuans' chest falling up and down - an indicator that he was alive and breathing.
You're pretty sure you've observed his condition more than you have gotten any work done in the past few hours. The intial plan was to go the Divine Foresight to take care of the duties that would be left behind with the abscence of the General personally because at that point you would be easily accesible to the public. But just after an hour or two, Qingzu had contacted Fu Xuan to inform her that you were in no right mind to currently focus.
Thus you were tasked to stay home or work from the room where Jing Yuan was resting by Bailu's clinic - Fu Xuan had merely parroted back what Bailu had said to her which was to let Jing Yuan wake up on his own terms, he didn't seem to be affected too strongly by Phantylia's attempt to turn him into a voidranger, and Bailu was currently in the process of finding out more.
"You wouldn't want him to wake up to the entirety of Xianzhou and yourself in disarray do you? If anything the moment he does he would sure wish he was back asleep," she had tried to joke, to which you only responded with a dry laugh.
You glanced towards the clock again, you don't know how many times you've done it, 7:28 AM. it had gone 9 hours since? Why did it feel like it had gone days?
You let out a sigh, settling yourself to sit beside Jing Yuan and brushing a hand through his hair, "How come you even made me forget the concept of time for us?" you mutter. 9 hours was usually nothing for you - nor for him. 9 hours was a lot for a short-lived species, but for you, it was just 9 hours.
It was just supposed to be a few hours.
So how did 9 hours suddenly feel a lot longer?
HOUR 24
There's a quiet knock at the door that jolts you awake, the sudden sound amidst the quiet room makes you jump from your seat at the desk, your knee colliding with the surface underneath the desk.
It doesn't hurt of course, but the person behind the door can hear your quiet curse, "Come in, Yanqing," you utter a few minutes after, and when he opens the door he's met with scene of ink spilled all over the desk and dripping down the floor.
"... Lady Bailu wouldn't be very happy about that mess, you know?"
You merely dropped a handful of paper towels down on the floor and set the ink bottle straight again, taking a seat by the bed and gesturing for Yanqing to settle on the floor in front of you. The boy doesn't utter a word as he passed you the bandages and first aid kit he had gotten from one of the attendants.
"You know you don't have to come all the way here to just get your wounds dressed up, right?" You remind the lieutenant, but at the back of your mind you're well aware the reason why Yanqing keeps coming back, "But thank you."
A couple of minutes pass like that, Yanqing kneeled on the floor as you set up everything, the distant tick-tock of the clock reverberating by the lieutenant ears.
"It doesn't hurt as much anymore, right?" you ask while undressing the bandages currently adorning his head, "It never hurt at all, who do you take me for, [Name]?!" he scoffed, crossing his arms and turning his head to the side harshly - immediately regretting said decision with a pained whimper.
You chuckle, brushing out his hair before starting to wrap the bandages around his head again, "You and that idiot really like to throw yourselves head first into danger, hmm?" you muse quietly, Yanqing's posture immediately stiffening at the mention of the general still unconscious beside you.
"He's not mad, is he?" Yanqing asks quietly after you've tied a knot, leaning his head back to stare at you. The mere question makes you laugh even more, "He was already aware of what you were planning to do, he could never be severely disappointed in you," the response made the younger boy let out a sigh of relief.
"... Are you mad at him?" Yanqing asks in the end, the boy having already made himself comfortable against you, twisting his body to lean his arms on your left thigh. Propping his chin on his arms that rests against your thigh, he takes a long look at Jing Yuan before directing his gaze back to you. He patiently waits for your response, but you can only blink back at him in wonder before your gaze turns towards Jing Yuan.
... Were you angry?
HOUR 32
"You're not gonna rot in this room with him of all things, [Name]." is the first thing Fu Xuan says the moment she slams the door open. You are for once, not cooped inside the clinic room, but outside by the balcony staring down at the Xianzhou people go on about their day with a cup of herbal tea in your hand, merely giving her a glance with a raised eyebrow.
"I'm very much not rotting inside there, Lady Fu. Bailu wouldn't let me either. Please give me a bit more credit than that," you say with a sigh, placing the cup of tea down in front of her before taking a seat opposite of her, "I'm just concerned is all, is there any news from Lady Bailu?" you question, the divination commissioner shaking her head, "Other than her confirming that the general should really just be deeply asleep, she hasn't found anything yet. But he did take a lot of wounds and hits during that fight from what I was informed, it's amazing there's nothing more than that."
A moment of silence passes, the only sound is the clinking of ice cubes against your glass while you swirled the tea around.
"That's the thing."
"Pardon?"
" There should be something more happening to him than just being bedridden needing a nap! He was almost turned into a voidranger of all things, Fu Xuan!" you shout, the fragile composure that you had so desperately tried to hold up cracking in just a few hours. The divination commissioners' eyes widening in surprise at the sudden outburst.
If the past you could've seen the state you were in now, they would've laughed at you. Even now you find yourself pathethic. Because it is pathethic, you've been through worse situations that lasted for weeks, months and even decades.
But somehow, seeing your beloved in such a position and unable to do anything when you usually were able to just cracks down on every purpose and belief you've held yourself to.
"He didn't want help, he didn't ask for help when he had the chance! He went into that battle expecting to not come back alive at all, but with purpose to bring that ravager down with him! And of course he would, it's Jing Yuan! He will lay down his entire soul and being, his life to protect the Xianzhou through another crisis - just like every other problem that could've risen to a crisis in the past centuries!" you cry, Fu Xuan can see that even with the outburst you're still trying to keep yourself sane, your knuckles turning white from gripping the corners of the table before you.
"The only thing I shouldn't have to worry about is when he's going to wake up, Fu Xuan. That worry shouldn't have to be my only concern with his condition," you mutter in the end. A few minutes pass by in silence, not because Fu Xuan didn't know what to say - moreso because she was aware that you weren't looking for comfort.
So she lets the few minutes pass before you raise your head with a smile. It's a smile she is well aware is forced: "Why don't we take a stroll outside then? I think Bailu would jump in joy if she sees me out of the room too."
HOUR 45
Fu Xuan realized how efficient you truly were whenever you didn't have to appease a touch starved general. A glance at the desk when she first arrived to drag you out showed her results of your hard work under 24 hours which was the finished and marked scrolls that was supposed to be sent to her - in addition to more "trivial" paperwork left behind at the Divine Foresight.
No wonder Marshal Hua was reluctant to let you go when Jing Yuan had first proposed to you.
And Fu Xuan will be damned to let said general also be your downfall.
So for the next 13 hours after that, you were somehow visited by numerous people who were in need of some minor help - that be the trailblazer looking immensely out of place as they asked you for some obvious facts about the luofu to Yanqing dragging you out to the training grounds to finally have a chance to spar with you again.
That girl really can't show concern in the normal way, can she?
A futile attempt to relieve your mind of endless worry - but an attempt nonetheless which makes a soft smile graze your lips. You sent a quick message to Qingzu to send a few Cloud Knights to guard the perimeter of the house before heading out the door once again.
If you knew the Cloud Knights well enough, they would already be running over - and sure enough you were greeted by enthusiastic greetings by them after merely taking a few steps away from the porch.
Fu Xuan merely gave you a deadpanned look when you arrived at the Divination Commission, "What, weren't you the one who wanted to distract me from worrying so much?" you asked with a grin.
"Yes, but I meant it in a way to relax your body and mind, not overwork yourself to exhaustion."
"Just humor me this once, Lady Fu."
Fu Xuan huffed, turned around while nagging at you. She didn't comment on the way you were clenching your fist so tightly that blood seeped out from where your fingernails were digging into your palm.
Love truly was a dangerous feeling.
HOUR 48
Jing Yuan felt like his whole body was underwater. It was hard to move, and even harder trying to open his eyes. There's a dull ache spreading through every vein in his body - a feeling he had gotten used to thanks to numerous battles, but with so many centuries of peace he was not liking how taxing it truly was.
Blinking his eyes open, he was met with an unfamiliar ceiling, but inside an environment that he was somewhat familiar with whenever he felt like skipping work.
Trying to heave himself up proved harder than normal, the man letting out a groan as he supported both hands on the bed to drag himself up to a sitting position.
He was covered in fresh bandages, so either Bailu or another attendant must've been inside a few hours before to change them. One look around the room gave him a rough idea on what has been going on.
It's been roughly 2 days since the battle with Phantylia, the new addition to the desk by the corner piled with scrolls and textbooks indicate that you've been by his side ever since he came back.
And lastly, although his whole body is hurting and moving even a muscle sends shockwaves of pain through his body, he was still very much alive.
"Bailu I've already been chased around for 13 hours to prevent from being inside there, I just want a break. No it's fine I don't need a bed I'll just sit by the balcony again - yes I'll call you if I need anything, don't worry. Really it's fine -" The fake cheer in your voice immediately stops up when you turn your head away from Bailu and into the room, but instead of being seen with the same scenery as you've gotten used to in the past 48 hours, you're staring straight into Jing Yuan's open eyes - the man himself only cocking his head to the side with a smile.
"Good afternoon, dear."
He can tell Bailu has already hightailed away to grab her things, which leaves him alone with you. You, who hasn't even moved a single muscle since locking eyes with him. Jing Yuan can see your mouth move in attempt to say something and that the hand on the door handle is trembling slightly.
"... What, you're not happy to see me?" he tries to joke, but the moment he sees your eyes flicker from surprise to anger he knew it was a bad joke to tell, "I'm sorry-"
"Sorry? You're sorry?!" you seethe through clenched teeth, still having enough rationality to not yell inside of a clinic of all things, even closing the door gently before marching into the room.
You don't even reach out to him, and Jing Yuan doesn't have the energy to reach out for you.
"You sure weren't sorry when you kept all of those plans to yourself and walked down that staircase with half a mind of not returning," you point out, and Jing Yuan can only give you the same easygoing smile he gave you that very same day.
"... Why? Why is at the most crucial moments that you want to do everything alone? Why won't you lean onto someone for once, why must you do everything in secrecy but at the same time be so open?" you question, every worry and fear just pouring and Jing Yuan let's you speak.
And even when his whole body hurts, he reaches out to gently grab your wrist to pull you down to sit by the bedside. He's aware that you could've easily stood your ground, because he's much too weak to actually force you to do anything.
And yet you're so pliant, sitting down close enough for him to wrap his arms around your waist and rest his head against your shoulder, "... 48 hours isn't a long time for our people," you breathe softly after a moment of silence, "But those 48 hours where you didn't even turn around one single time nor make a single movement? It was almost the worst 48 hours I've experienced so far."
"And I hate it, why have I let you reduce me to something so vulnerable and I can't do anything about it?! Why have you gone against everything you first promised to me?!" Your voice is gradually getting louder, but Jing Yuan doesn't comment on it.
"I'm sorry," he mutters again, and you only scoff, "You're not sorry, I know you're not. If something like this happened again I know you would do the exact same thing."
You know him too well, and that's what also scares him in the end.
Because if you weren't so high on emotions right now and just took a moment to think, you would realize that if you were in the same battlefield as him things would not go as smoothly - to either one of you.
It was better for him to be alone right then and there - because if Phantylia had even seen one weakness from him of all people it would've reduced the already slim chances of them winning that battle to zero.
If Phantylia had even decided to target you, he knew he wouldn't be able to keep his rationality inside - because you have him wrapped around your finger more than you realize.
Every regret and painful memory he has experienced have started to pale when he compares to every joyful moment you've given him. So if you were to perish in that fight for him and for the Xianzhou? Jing Yuan would've truly lost against the battle of time.
He's selfish, for once he wants to be selfish because he's chosen to not be in every waking moment of his life - so he wants to be selfish this once and rather take a gamble with his life than toy with yours.
"I'm sorry," he whispers once again, a hand reaching out to cup your cheek, the general chuckling when he feels a stray tear his his thumb. He leans back to watch you, a guilty look crossing his features at your slightly reddened eyes.
And yet you're glaring at him in anger, but Jing Yuan is so relieved that you're still there with him.
So he leans in with no hesitation, pecking the corner of your eyes while whispering that he's sorry after every peck, his thumb pushing down on your lower lip to stop you from biting your lips so harshly, "I truly am," he whispers, silencing the bubbling sobs coming from your lips with his own.
He is sorry. And he hates the thought of you hurting, because both of you had gone through enough. But he would rather that you go through 48 hours of pure torment for him than taking the risk of losing you completely.
His love for you is selfish like that, because if he wasn't selfish he would be too vulnerable.
